My little students, I have a good news for you!!
I'm gonna show you how to draw a wonderful train Henry the engine number 3.
So, I will start off with the tender and draw its bottom line.
Then I will continue and draw Henry's platform.
Just a few lines connected together.
Line by line…
Here they are.
Ok, my next move is to draw Henry's cabin on top of his platform.
And then a small window in the upper part of the cabin.
Alright!
Now it's turn for the tender.
Let's get back to it again.
I will draw its frame, just a few lines.
And then, of course, let's put number 3 in tender's center.
Ok, good job!
Cool!
Now it's turn for the couplers on the front.
You know how to draw them - just two small circles.
Great!
So now just above the couplers i will continue with Henry's head.
First, i will draw the contours, then the eyebrows, big eyes, sharp nose and his smiling
mouth.
Then there's an area for the smokebox right behind the head and the smokestack on top.
Here we go.
Ok, now I will draw three areas just above the place where the wheels will be.
Here some more lines to show Henry's engine.
Next move is drawing the roof on the cabin, then a couple of more lines on Henry's body.
Ok, guys, now we are ready to draw Henry's three driving wheels
and then just small wheels on the front.
And here im showing the ground and connecting the wheels by a straight line.
Next step is adding three small wheels for the tender and then a pile of coal on top
of it.
Here is a small door on the cabin.
Alright!
Excellent job!!
So, now we are fully prepared to begin coloring Henry!
My first color will be red.
RED.
IT's for Henry's platform.
Here we go.
From left to right.
Then a little more for the stripes on the engine, small door, arches above the wheels,
tender and a little bit under the platform.
The second color that i want to use here is green.
GREEN.
It will go for the whole cabin… from all sides…
Don't stop… keep coloring
After that i will apply green for the tender, first on the sides, and then in the center.
Then area above the wheels, engine, driving wheels: big and small ones.
Alright!
We are done with green and next i will take grey color.
it will go for Henry's face and below it.
After grey i am taking yellow color.
YELLOW.
It's for the window, and number 3.
BLue color goes next.
BLUE. iT will go just for the center of the window.
Black color comes into play next.
I will apply it for the smokebox, smokestack, roof on the cabin, pile of coal, and as a
shade on the cabin, a bit on teh body, below Henry's head, wheels - big and small ones,
and wheels of the tender.
The last color taht i will use her is brown.
BROWN.
iT''s for the ground Henry is located on.
Alright, kids!
Well done!!!!
Now Henry looks just wonderful!
