Waching daily Jan 26 2017

As a business owner, you know the

importance of stellar first impression.

One of the best ways you can set

yourself apart in a crowded industry

is with a unique brand name and

consistent visuals that reflect your

heart and personality. But you're

starting to feel a disconnect within

your brand. Are you just experiencing

brand boredom, chasing shiny object

syndrome or is it truly time for you to

rebrand your business?

Keep watching because in this video I'll

be sharing the clues that will tell you

it's time to start thinking about

rebranding your business. (intro music)

Hey there! Welcome back to the Holly Meyer

Design studio. Holly here! On this channel

I share brand tips and design tutorials

that empower wholehearted creatives

to infuse new life into their brand so

they can captivate their dream audience

and stand out in their industry. You

recently came across the latest design

trend, you saw that Pantone released their

newest Color of the Year and you just

noticed there's an up-and-coming

business in your industry. Suddenly you

want to revamp everything about your

brand.

Let me tell you, as a designer it is a

daily struggle for me! I constantly want

to make updates to my brand. But just

because you're bored or you no longer

like your logo does it mean that it's

actually time for you to rebrand. So when

is the right time for you to think about

rebranding your business? #1 Your

target market has changed. You've

recently expanded or moved your business

to a new location. Or perhaps you're

seeking to attract higher-end clients.

Or maybe you're targeting a different

type of client entirely. For example,

maybe once you catered to virtual

assistants but now you want to reach

those six and seven-figure business

coaches. If this sounds like you,

it's wise to revamp your brand visuals

and possibly even your brand name to

better reflect this change in your business.

#2 You've altered

existing services or you've added new

offerings. Maybe you're a photographer and

you currently only offer wedding

packages, but you want to branch out and

start offering newborn and senior

sessions. If your business is named

something like "Elegant Wedding Photography",

new parents and parents of high

schoolers aren't going to think twice

about approaching you take photos of their

children. Your brand name needs to be

appropriate for every service you

provide. #3 Your current

branding isn't a true reflection of your

heart mission. You invested in branding

when you first started your business, but

since then you've evolved and matured. Or

maybe you're a solopreneur who's finally

hiring team members. You decided you

want your brand to be bigger than

yourself so you can pass on the torch

when you get ready for retirement.

It's important that your branding

connects with your mission and

objectives. #4 It's been too long

since you've last rebranded. Does your current

brand feel so 2013? Sure, "Blurred Lines"

was a catchy song back then but your

brand may not be today. If your brand

followed any past trends it's time for

you to consider timeless branding that

will last through the years. And you'll get

more bang for your buck because you

won't have to rebrand every single

season. #5 You want your brand

to become your name. Three years ago you

agonized over the catchiest name for your

business.

The name "Oak & Willow" served you well,

but now you want your audience to know

you as a person. Naming your business

after yourself is one of the best ways

for you to get personal with your

audience. Especially if you have an

uncommon name and you're not just

another Jane Smith. Apologies to any

Jane Smiths watching this video,

your name is absolutely beautiful! Do you

find yourself nodding along to any of

these five clues right now? If so, it's

time to start taking action on

rebranding your business. If not

then I encourage you to put this dream

on the back burner for now until a

rebrand makes better sense for you. Now,

I want to hear from you! What are your

biggest questions when it comes to

rebranding your business?

Tell me about it in the comments below!

I'd love to know how I can support you

as you grow your brand. If you enjoyed

Your little brother never tells you but he loves you so

You said your mother only smiles on her TV show

You're only happy when your sorry head is filled with dope

I hope you make it to the day you're 28 years old

You're dripping like a saturated sunrise

You're spilling like an overflowing sink

You're ripped at every edge but you're a masterpiece

And now you're tearing through the pages and the ink

Everything is blue

His pills, his hands, his jeans

And now I'm covered in the colors pulled apart at the seams

And it's blue

It makes blue

Everything is gray

His hair, his smoke, his dreams

And now he's so devoid of color, he don't know what it means

And he's blue

And he's blue

(Music)

You were a vision in the morning when the lights came through

I know I've only felt religion when I've laid with you

You said you'll never be forgiven til your boys are too

And I'm still waking every morning but it's not with you

You're dripping like a saturated sunrise

You're spilling like an overflowing sink

You're ripped at every edge but you're a masterpiece

And now you're tearing through the pages and the ink

Everything is blue

His pills, his hands, his jeans

And now I'm covered in the colors pulled apart at the seams

It makes blue

It makes blue

Everything is gray

His hair, his smoke, his dreams

And now he's so devoid of color, he don't know what it means

It makes blue

And he's blue

(Echoes)

Art is not what I create

What I create is chaos

Everything is blue

His pills, his hands, his jeans

And now I'm covered in the colors pulled apart at the seams

And it's blue

It makes blue

Everything is gray

His hair, his smoke, his dreams

And now he's so devoid of color, he don't know what it means

But he's blue

And he's blue

Everything is blue

Everything is blue

Everything is blue

Everything is blue

(Peace)

(Fading echoes)

Sisters of Providence Congregation video - 2017 - Duration: 6:21.

Being a Sister of Providence means

reaching out to others, to be aware of

how I'm present in the world.

The Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods

are a community of Catholic women

religious who collaborate with others to

create a more just and hope-filled world through prayer, education, service and advocacy.

Being a Sister Providence is life-giving.

It's a total gift from God.

Being a Sister of Providence means everything to me.

Gives me tremendous freedom.

And I have the opportunity to really utilize whatever gifts and talents God has given me.

To be alive. To be attentive to

the world and the needs and try to respond to that.

I think that's part of what it means to be a Sister of Providence.

I believe we are very accepting.

We have diverse backgrounds.

Our motherhouse is located at Saint Mary-of the-Woods

Indiana and we serve in 17 states and Asia.

Our foundress is Saint Mother Theodore Guerin

and we try in everything we do to live out her legacy.

I love Mother Theodore.

She's probably one of the main reasons that I'm here.

I say I lean on Providence but I also lean on Mother Theodore,

she's such a great support and inspiration.

She was always trying to ask herself

where do I need to be. And it's not always the place that's most comfortable.

So our sisters who are out in California

at Providence in the Desert, they wanted

to be present to a need that they saw in a way that no one had done,

driving out to these tiny little trailer home communities and holding English classes.

Mother Theodore, she was certainly an advocate for justice for all people; for the poor, for the

immigrant, for the outcast, for the outsiders. And so it's natural for us to continue that work.

I'm one of these people that when i see an injustice I have to do something about it, I can't be still.

Our ministry has a very deep impact, not only mine but the other Sisters who go in the prison.

We represent to them the church. And it says to them they have not been forgotten.

We have people working with immigration,

people continuing to work in urban education.

I saw a dropout rate in the schools of

80 percent, I just knew these kids deserved better.

But I believe that having people who want to walk with them and be there

in their journeys has made all the difference for some students.

But we're all educators in many ways, whether it's under the justice issues that we deal

with whether it's in the hospital that

we work in, church ministries we work in..

we all are educating just from example.

I'm not only a principal of a small elementary school but I'm also the head gardener.

Another thing that's special about the Sisters of Providence is the emphasis on connectedness with Earth.

Just the whole idea of using our nature,

and cultivating our nature to be more sustainable.

So when you walk on this campus with our White Violet Center and our gardens,

you can't help but be reminded that we can produce locally, we can be more sustainable.

These are God-given resources and we're meant to

care for them, to tread lightly on the ground that we walk.

We've grown through the years of various expressions of prayer; it's vast.

Thomas Keating says that the only way you can do prayer wrong is to stand up and walk out.

In our house, there are five of us and we take turns leading prayer.

I get to bring my gifts and ideas to the table but I also get to benefit from the idea and energy that

another person brings which I'm really grateful for.

The community life really is a wonderful thing in that

we can challenge each other we, we can learn from each other.

These women are some of the most amazing people I've ever met in my life and I

count myself lucky every day that I get to learn from them.

A group of women who love to laugh and we have a good time.

Living in community is not always easy but it's always a grace.

It's home.

Being a Sister of Providence is home, it's family.

Sisters of Providence are..

Support. Hospitality. Possibility. Compassionate.

Loving. Kindness. Integrity. Fun. Joyful. Hopeful. Prayerful.

Love. Mercy. Justice.
