Does More Fuel Increase Your Dive & Energy Retention? | War Thunder BluePrints - Duration: 5:32.
Fuel load. in the last video we've discovered how taking more fuel in your aircraft affects
your climb rate, aceleration and turning ability. Today we're going to test if taking more fuel
actually improves your energy retention. Hello you sexy beasts, and welcome back to
BluePrints! This episode is going to be a short one since I don't have much time, so
let's get right into it. The theory behind this subject is based on
the real world physics of an object. To cut a long lecture about potential and cinetic
energy equations short, if you have two objects with the same size and drag coeficient but
different weights being launched at the same velocity,
and with the existence of air resistance, the heavier one should go further. This is
what we refer to as energy retention, or the capability to resist air resistance.
Alright, then let's get to testing. For this test I've taken the P-47N into a test flight
with minimum fuel load. In order to test horizontal and vertical energy retention, as well as
dive speed gain, we need to set up a methodology that we can repeat for both subjects. For
the horizontal energy retention test, I've flown the P-47 to 1km altitude, sped up to
450Km/h IAS with WEP and instead of throttling back, just turned off the engine to ensure
that the Radiator wouldn't open and alter our drag
coeficient. Now we can't direclty measure energy levels of course, but what we can do
is measure its effect, namely aceleration. If we are to see a difference in energy retention,
then the heavier P-47 should suffer less deaceleration
than the lighter one. And indeed, there is a measurable difference in how quickly the
two aircraft lost their speed. As you can see by the graph, the Max Fuel P-47 had a
consistently better speed retention across the board. So
what's the difference in percent? About a 7.6% decrease in speed loss.
Alright, onto diving ability. For this one, we've taken the P-47s to 3km altitude at around
300km/h IAS, cut the engine with WEP still enabled and went into a -50º dive. And again,
the heavier aircraft takes the crown. To note here is
how your aceleration advantage increases the faster you go, proving that the heavier aircraft
is overcoming air resistance better than the lighter one. And in fact, without any input
of the engine, we've reached 679 Km/h at the end of
the dive with the Minimum fuel load P47, and 708 Km/h with the max fuel one. Translating
the result into percentages, the Heavy P-47 has on average a 3.7% better Diving speed
gain.
Finally, Climb speed loss. This one's a bit tricky. Whilst you should theoretically have
a higher energy retention at the start of the climb whilst you're still high on speed,
towards the end gravity should pull the heavier aircraft
down more than the lighter one. For this experiment we've simply put the aircraft into a 50ª
climb after pulling out of the dive, still with the engine off and still with WEP enabled.
And these are the results, as expected the difference is more pronounced at the start
of the climb when we were still fast, but pretty much equals zero the slower we go.
So what do these numbers translate to? Across the board, the heavier P-47 does have
about a 1.9% lower speed loss than the lighter one. However, the lighter one did reach a
slightly higher altitude before stalling out, about 2308m compared to 2284m on the heavier
one. This is within margin of error, but does prove
that you only really have an advantage as long as you keep your speed up.
So, what are the conclusions? My personal conclusion is just how amazing I find it how
the game engine can actually correlate to real world physics. In terms of gameplay,
taking more fuel does give the benefits of higher fire resistance
and a slightly better energy retention, but I still wouldn't recommend taking a full fuel
load for all but the purest of energy fighters, that already have low climb rate and aceleration
values. The benefits of higher energy retention just don't really balance out the significant
drawbacks in climb rate, aceleration and turning ability in most cases. It's definitely worth
trying it out with air spawn interceptor energy fighters like the Fw-190s and the P-47s tho,
but only if you have perfect patience and discipline. Any time you're not above the
enemy, or at high speeds, you're going to be at a disadvantage.
And that concludes our little experiment in how fuel loads affect your dive and energy
retention. If you've learned anything new, which I bet you have don't lie to me, click

Production of vermicompost - Duration: 3:36.
Purchased the red Californian worm, you can use an ordinary earthworm (California multiplies many times faster but it is more expensive and needs to spend the winter in warmth). Earthworm can be found everywhere, but most of all earthworms can be found in old manure heaps around farm yards, livestock farms of any type, piles of manure left in the field, on old landfills of organic waste in the bottom of a forest ravine beneath the accumulations of last year's leaves. Harvested compost. It can be from any organic material is decomposed leaves collected in the woods, in the garden or rotted sawdust, waste from vegetable waste from Your table (only vegetable), manure of chickens, pigs, rabbits, pigeons, etc. In the finished compost run worms, worms recycle compost into vermicompost. 1 square meter is run 5000 worms. Processing of the substrate is usually about 5 months, with the number of worms increases five... ten times, depending on the thoroughness of the maintenance of optimal conditions. If adult worms periodically to separate, it is possible to further accelerate their reproduction. We calculate income. One worm per day recycles approximately one gram of substrate, with the output of vermicompost to 50%. Think, for 4 months, 5000 worms with 1 square meter, reworking 600 pounds of substrate, give 300 kg of vermicompost or 1800 rubles (the cost of a kilogram of vermicompost in the Irkutsk region about 6 rubles). If on the land to allocate for this case is "1 hundred," it turns out over the summer, well, think for yourself. At the same time it is a periodic watering with water and preparation of the substrate. Vermicompost Packed in bags and deposited in the store. All this can be done in trays in the basement or at the cottage. Worms are used as a very effective feed additive for chickens, pigs, etc., in chickens it increases the number of eggs laid. Young animals when feeding worms intensively developing. From the dried and ground worms preparing food that can be taken to the pet stores.

7 Actors Who Were Almost Cast As Spider-Man - Duration: 4:36.
There aren't many superhero roles that match up to Spider-Man in terms of cultural impact.
Countless hopefuls have auditioned for the part of Peter Parker in his various incarnations
over the years, including some of the biggest and most unexpected names in Hollywood.
We'll never know what might have happened if one of these guys had been cast as Spidey,
but it's fun to wonder.
Here's a look at some actors who were almost cast as Spider-Man.
Heath Ledger
Heath Ledger will forever be remembered for his game-changing performance as the Joker
in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight.
But the late actor could have wound up on the good guys' side if Sony had gotten its
way.
In the wake of his death, Ledger's former agent Steve Alexander revealed that his client
was the studio's number one choice when it came to casting the lead in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man.
The actor was ultimately put off by how little he knew about the character, telling his agent
he would have been "taking somebody else's dream away" if he took the part without fully
appreciating Spider-Man's history.
Jake Gyllenhal
Of course, the part of Raimi's Peter Parker ultimately went to Tobey Maguire, and the
rest is Spidey history.
Maguire was propelled to A-list stardom after the first film stormed to the top of the domestic
box office in 2003, but he almost never made it to the second movie after sustaining a
back injury while filming Seabiscuit in 2003.
Jake Gyllenhaal was drafted to take his place, though he was dropped when Maguire made a
miraculous recovery just in time for shooting.
It isn't the only time Gyllenhaal has narrowly missed out on playing an iconic superhero:
he was also close to playing Christopher Nolan's Batman, only to be beaten to the role by Christian
Bale.
"I'm Batman!"
James Franco
It's not uncommon for an actor to come away from an audition having failed to get the
part that they went for, only to be contacted and offered another role in the picture.
This was the case with James Franco, who read for the lead role in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man
but was ultimately beaten to the prize by Tobey Maguire.
"Oh, look at little Goblin Jr. Gonna cry?"
Franco confessed that he was disappointed when the director called him to let him know
the part had gone to Maguire, though he softened the blow when he instead offered the Freaks
and Geeks star the part of Harry Osborn, son of the Green Goblin and Peter Parker's best
friend.
Franco agreed, and the casting call for Harry was immediately withdrawn.
Daniel Radcliffe
When Tom Holland was announced as the newest Spider-Man, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe
was among those who offered public congratulations to Holland.
But his compliments may have come through gritted teeth.
Radcliffe went on to reveal that he wanted the part himself while also conceding that
it was now out of reach: "I would have made a good Spider-Man, but the boat has sailed
on that one.
I'm not sure if I'd sign up for something that was another seven or eight films or ten
years, but a shorter franchise, yeah."
He did get to at least out his dream by cosplaying as Spider-Man for Comic-Con, though, so that's
nice.
"You don't go to Comic-Con without going down on the floor and seeing it all, and so the
way I came up with doing that was Spider-Man."
Leonardo DiCaprio
Just because we didn't get a big-budget Spider-Man until 2002, that doesn't mean there weren't
earlier attempts.
One of the big what-ifs in superhero movies is the James Cameron version of Spider-Man,
which the acclaimed director abandoned in favor of Titanic.
Among the stars Cameron considered for the lead role was none other than Leonardo DiCaprio,
who read the screenplay and met with Cameron to discuss the role.
DiCaprio never did get to don those tightie-Spideys, but Cameron gave him a pretty good consolation
prize: the lead role in Titanic.
"I'm the king of the world!
Woo!"
And that's not even the earliest try at a cinematic Spidey...
Tom Cruise
After several failed attempts to negotiate a deal to get Spider-Man swinging onto the
big screen in the late '70s and early '80s, Marvel finally signed on the dotted line with
Cannon Films, a production company known for churning out low-budget action films.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre director Tobe Hooper was signed up to direct a script that actually
saw Peter Parker mutate into an anthropomorphic tarantula.
Tom Cruise was offered the part, opposite Bob Hoskins as iconic Spidey villain Doctor
Octopus...but, unsurprisingly, Cruise decided to pass on the bizarre project.
But wait — it gets even weirder!
Michael Jackson
In 2009, Marvel's legendary Stan Lee told bewildered audiences at San Diego Comic-Con
that Michael Jackson had once invited him to his Neverland ranch to ask about personally
producing a Spider-Man movie, with the late King of Pop intending to take on the starring
role himself.
When Marvel said no, Jackson came up with a new plan: buy Marvel out so he could play
the role!
"When I told him I didn't think the company would sell it, he then wanted to buy Marvel.
'So then I'll buy Marvel!'
I don't know what happened.
Obviously he didn't buy Marvel, but he wanted to very much."
Yikes.
My hee-hee sense is tingling!

How Via the Program Camtasia Studio to Replace the Background in the Video - Duration: 3:49.
Hello friends!
You are again with Larisa Levinskaya.
And today I want to show
How can the program Camtasia Studio
replace background for your live video.
For example, make it such as I have.
Hello!
You again Larissa Levinskaya.
Of course, things were not so nice.
In the source file
the video was like this here.
Green background behind me in a video called
chroma key.
And now I'll give
about chroma key and how to make
quality replacement background
in the program Camtasia Studio.
All in order.
Showing what I did chroma key.
Used for this
the most ordinary crepe-satin
from the nearest shop "fabric".
Emerald-green color.
The size of the material I have
Width of 1.4 metres, standard width.
Length 2.5 m. Me this piece of
It is quite enough.
I have attached to the wall (to bagetu) chroma key
the most common
pins for sewing.
In the distance, approximately, 10-15 cm.
Rests, oddly enough!
Ideally, of course, can't remove
Fabric still synthetic,
fold then again gathered.
But it doesn't bother me when shooting video.
And about the cost
It turned out cheaper than ordering
Since Aliexpress or from another online store
chroma key ready.
Less than 5 United States dollars.
Maybe a 3 dollar
If so take it in detail on the course.
I hope that my experience will be useful
You create your own hromakeja.
And now I'll show you how to program
Camtasia Studio can be removed
This dark green background
hromakeja and replace it with a beautiful
background, which you nebhodim.
I choose in the main menu "file"
"Import media".
Choose the source file
where behind me
chroma key. Here it is.
Right-click
get on this file
and select "Add to the timeline
the point of the playhead.
Zazhimaju Ctrl
and mouse wheel
decrease the length of the file.
Now I choose.
I activate the desired file, select
"Instruments",
"Visual properties".
Select "Delete color".
And now ...
Let's choose the frame, on which I
I am. You see, there is a
a bucket,
You can choose the color.
Since I have a hromakey little shade,
not to be mistaken with a touch,
I you still highly recommend to choose
"Select Color", that is, take a dropper.
The tool "Eyedropper"
And the left mouse button
click on any field
where is your hromakey.
Here he is. Clicking.
You see instantly removed hromakey
painted black.
This channel is zero.
In principle, this is the first step.
Then I find any
I liked the picture.
If I want to have my
the video was recorded in the background
static pictures.
Select "Import Media"
Again I previously found in Google
it on the internet,
For example, here is a picture.
Yes? Select.
Again, choose the right mouse button.
Getting in this picture
and select "Add to timeline
in point playhead".
to picture
fully fit for me,
I'll grab the left mouse button
this picture and gently
pull, pull
over the entire length of the video file.
And another is my advice to you.
Don`t forget that this picture
must be below the level than
Your primary video.
Here in this case, it begins to emerge
through channel zero.
Similarly, one can
do if instead of
static pictures to take and use
any video
In order for it to be your background video.
Similarly you find at Google, stretch
this video along the length of the entire image.
That you will already be able to cope on their own.
I hope you understand that the idea itself.
I hope that today's video
it was helpful to you.
Subscribe to the channel!
Put a marks "Like".
With you was Larisa Levinskaya.
See you soon!

Best and Worst Spirit of Harmony Farming Spots (WoW Gold Guide) - Duration: 7:28.
Hey there guys, this is Reckles with WTBGold and today we're continuing our epic quest
for the best material farming spots.
In this video we're looking at Spirit of Harmony farming.
Now, a basic Mist of Pandaria crafting item isn't worth farming right?
Stick to current felslate and starlight rose markets.
Well of course, you can sell Spritis of Harmony raw on the Auction House, and it's currently
selling for between 100 to 400 gold depending on how big your server is.
But they're also great for flipping because the price fluctuates plus or minus 50% depending
on the day.
And you can sell 100 a day pretty easily for an extra daily 10-40k.
But, it's also used to craft a lot.
The sapphire cub battle pet from jewelcrafters and royal satchels from tailors are great
ways to double your money.
Then there's more expensive stuff like the crafted 522 epics, which are now considered
high tier transmog.
The Haunted Steel Headguard for instance sells for 15,000 and only costs 8k to make.
The real money is in converting trillium into Living Steel with the Alchemy pattern Riddle
of Steel and then making the time investment transmog pieces like the lionheart executioner
or dragonstrike or sky golem which all sell for at least 45k.
I've got a TSM import group in the description for you but now that we aren't just talking
about cheap old world mats, let's do this guide.
Ok, so let's do the routes.
The drop rates for Spirits were better the higher level the enemy was, but Blizzard tweaked
the dials on all the OP farms pretty quickly so everything gives you roughly 6-10 Spirits
an hour.
But here's what I want you to do.
I'm gonna list off a bunch of these.
Head out, right now, and spend just 10 to 15 minutes at each one.
Let me know let me know in the comments which you personally like best.
I wanna know.
And everything's written down in the description if I go too fast.
And don't you just go off memory, things are different now that you can just one shot
everything and starfall sucks.
The first spot is Northern Barrens.
This came out in patch 5.phububub with the Kor'kron invasion.
There are two routes.
The first is in the lumber farming area in the Northwest.
Run along the edge killing in groups of 5, then move up a level and kill your way back.
In the middle of the map there are kor'kron demolishers and each is surrounded by 5-10
guys.
Stop and kill each demolisher and skip everything else.
Everything here has a 3 minute respawn so you can do laps pretty quickly.
I like northern barrens because you can get 20 spirits an hour if you go ham, and I can't
manage to farm out here for 20 minutes without getting at least 3 gahz'rooki pets.
Next, the mogu around guo lai are fantastic and give you both guo lai keys which double
your raw gold per hour and shards for the alani mount which is now personal loot, so
everyone in the party gets the mount.
The trench in dread wastes is great with its new 3 minute respawn but you don't get a
lot of gear and that bugs me [got eem!].
Either kill everything or just skip around and kill the big packs of warriors.
You'll get the same amount.
A cool spot I haven't seen any videos for is the Veiled stair.
Inside the cave here, you can knock out 100 motes an hour and the lap is super simple.
The Jade Forest also has a lap that I claim ownership of.
None of y'all are allowed there, this is my spot!
When you do your 15 minute testing, skip this.
But yah, it's the turtles and saurok in Windward Isle out in the Jade Forest.
Run around in this horseshoe shape.
Even just single targeting everything on my bear got me 10 spirits an hour and a bunch
of leather.
Ok, before I show you the best spot, let's go over the more sneaky methods that you've
probably forgotten about and that don't require grinding.
The first is songbell seeds at Halfhill Farms.
It takes about a week to grow your farm from 4 to 16 plots, but this is basically the garrison
of Pandaria.
It's just free gold.
Do it.
Here's the math.
How many toons do you have over level 90?
3?
5?
10?
Multiply that by 20,000.
That's how much gold a month you're missing out on by not farming spirits here on all
your toons.
You also get a spirit per day per toon from the Isle of Giants by turning in the daily
quest More Giant Dinosaur Bones.
But honestly if you're gonna farm up bones, just sell em raw or sell 10,000 of them at
once for someone looking to buy the bone white primal raptor.
And mentioning mounts, the last thing you may have forgotten about is the Zandalari
Warbringer and Zandalari Warscout farming.
Each zone in Pandaria has one guy riding a triceratops and another patrolling around.
They drop bags of loot with tons of materials inside along with a 5% chance of the Jade,
Slate, or Amber Primal Direhorn.
If you do this though, do it on a gatherer because while I didn't see any of these
rares in my quick filming session, I did get 3000 gold worth of ghost iron ore per lap.
And finally, I saved the best for last, because obviously, Google cares how long you watch
these videos.
But one last thing first, a quick list of the nerfed farms that don't work anymore
that you've probably seen videos of if you're searching around for how to farm Spirits of
Harmony.
Slateskin Troublemakers in the vale were removed in patch 5.4.
While you can do Pandaria scenarios by talking to Lorewalker Shin, scenarios don't drop
loot any more, it's just achievement points.
The Essences of Despair in the amazing quest chain at Zhu's watch, only drop greys now.
That used to be a 60 spirit per hour farm.
The turtles in Valley of the four winds still work but have been nerfed to oblivion.
And the stone guardian instaspawn trick only works if you're on that specific quest,
but I think those mobs have been removed altogether.
I don't know.
Ok, the best spot, officially, is Heart of Fear 25 man.
You get considerably less in 10 man than 25, but it doesn't matter if you run heroic
or normal.
Each run takes 3 minutes.
Go in, Gather up all the mantid through the first room, leaving that last pack up.
Use speed boosts to avoid getting stunned and don't stand in the gravel looking stuff.
In 10 runs, which only took 30 mintues, I got 12 Spirits, 1000 gold in cash, 3000 in
transmog greens and 10000 in transmog purples.
If you craft stuff with the spirits, that's 50k for every hour of farming.
And that's the guide, make sure to go try each out for 15 minutes and let me know your
favorite!
Next material farming guide will be tuesday at noon.
If you liked this guide, make sure to subscribe and farm the hell outta that like button below.
And make sure to vote on what you want to see next on this week's twitter poll.
There are 982,000 pandaren toons in World of Warcraft but only 1800 left in the wild.
If you want to help donate to the world wildlife fund through their wonderfully named, "help
save the WoW" campaign.
Have a good one guys.

Sea of Thieves Inn-side Story #10: Co-Op Gameplay - Duration: 3:34.
Every single mechanic's been built to be social
exactly we started with the world map
from a co-op perspective definitely
we didn't want the person on the wheel
to be able to sail the ship and
see where they're going on the map and
do everything all in one splitting it up
so that the world map's on the middle deck
was a deliberate decision so that
the line of sight is broken so a crewmate
needs to go down there have a look
shout up to the guy on the wheel
we need to go north and likewise
not all the information's on the map either
the person on the wheel has some information
the person on the map has other information
all the rocks and smaller nuances of the world design
you have to see them from the wheel
and the person on the wheel might not be able
to see all of the rocks and reefs so
a player in the crow's nest or hanging out
on the front of the ship's going to be able to see
that information so you will need to
work together to give each other the
information that you need to navigate
I think for me the breakthrough was the map
like when I think back to when we were first
prototyping quests it was getting the map in
which was just a singular map at the time
only one person could carry it
and that kind of enforced the social mechanics
around looking at it and showing it to your crew
and I remember the first playtest that we had when
you were showing the map it was awesome
when you were physically showing it to them
and you were seeing them huddled around you
in first-person you were like we're on to
something here we need to build off this
that was the start of it because the co-operative
digging came a lot later actually
didn't it much later yeah
before it was just a singular person digging
so a singular person had the shovel
a singular person had the map
and basically it meant that people were more
kind of forced into roles which we didn't want
we wanted everyone to have the ability to do
any role at any time and that actually just
made it blossom into being even more social
the best type of social that we wanted because
as soon as we gave everyone the shovel it felt like
well let's let everybody dig it up together
and it'll be faster so when you've got to the
treasure and dug it up it doesn't end there
because the minute you dig up that chest
it's only at risk for a certain amount of time
basically that's the crucial thing to remember
it's in your hands if you get it back safely
literally if you get it back safely to
an outpost and sell it to the Shipwright
it's your gold forever it's yours to spend
it's banked it's your gold
but once you've dug it up that's it
if there's somebody nearby if they
shoot you if they kill you or they
overcome you they can steal that from you
it's technically not your gold then anyway
that's what makes it so tense and so enjoyable for me
you kind of naturally just designate roles
oh quick someone protect me
because it's just instinctive to get someone to
follow you with a blunderbuss or with a pistol
or someone might scout ahead a little bit
it was a very deliberate design decision to make
the chest be something that is a shared benefit
for the whole crew so it's something that you will
rally around it bonds you together and
it's something that you all want to protect together
it's great on the other side though as well
there's nothing better than cashing in a chest
that was someone else's hard work
oh yeah
I think that going on the quests is kind of
the culmination of all these
co-operative mechanics where this pirate crew
is bonded together going on an adventure together
yeah with the set of tools that you can all
work together you can all co-operate
collaborate together with this goal of
treasure in mind yeah exactly
That might be quite funny
Don't put that in

Ghosts of the Oulu Castle (Finnish with subs) ASMR - Duration: 9:29.
Hello. It is Niina and you are watching Fairychamber Channel
Today I will talk to you about the ghosts that haunt caste ruins in Oulu
Oulu is considered to be the number 1 haunted city in Finland
because there has been so many ghost sightings made
I am from that area so these haunted places are quite familiar for me
Linnasaari (castle island) is familiar for me
Last summer I went to the castle ruins to film
but non of the materials wasn't working when I downloaded them
Maybe the ghosts were too shy
So I'll need to make this without their presense
(but who knows..maybe they followed me)
Castle of Oulu has very tragical history
and quite a short history. There isn't that many castles in Finland overall
Less than ten I believe
Back in the days when Oulu castle was build it was the most north fortress in Europe
in the 1600's Finland was still northern part of Sweden
Castle was build by the King of Sweden Carl the ninth
It was build for military purposes right to the top of the northern gulf
But castle didn't last for very long
First desctructions started in the beginning of 18th century
In 1715 During the great northern war Russian soldiers
burned the castle
and after the castle was re-build
1793 there was massive thunder
Lightning striked to the cellar where people kept gun powder
and the whoooleeee castle exploded
After that people were ready to give up
1830 the guild of merchandisers started to rebuild the castle
fix the walls and such
1875 there was astronomy tower build to the top of the ruins
Which belonged to the sailor school and was used by sailor students
That is where they studied star constellations
in 1800's Oulu was famous marine city where lot's of tar was imported to other parts of the world
Sailor city
Since 1912 astronomy tower has been a cafeteria
and it's a cafeteria still today
There is a lovely view to the city of Oulu
Most well known ghost in the Oulu castle is Matti Montonen
He lived in the 1600's
He was well known witch, shaman and bad-tempered man
Still in 1600´s people lived in this symbiotic belief system
that was mixture of pagan and Christian habbits though officially
people were Christian like the king of Sweden
but average people had more pagan worldview based on folk beliefs
which at that time was mixture of pagan and Christian elements
Montonen was not acception
People considered him as a skilled witch and a shaman
He had very bad temper and many people disliked him
During that time when people lived withing this bit weird symbiosis of different beliefs
when someone had reputation of being the village fool and witch and the same time
that easily annoyed some of the leading elite of that time
Montonen was accused from desertion and bigamy
He was imprison in 1689
and he was thrown to the Oulu castle dungeon
Legend tells that Montonen could speak with animals
He was very good with horses and could magically heal sick horses
He talked with spirits and ghosts
especially when he was drunk
People also believed that he could create fire from thin air
Story tells that when Montonen was about to be hanged
The guards stepped inside the dungeon and the find his body
His face was all burned and filled with firemarks
He had been all alone in the dungeon then people came up to the conclusion that
Montonen had invided devil himsef
Looks like Devil wasn't very happy with him. Montonen has become somewhat ghost legend in Oulu
Many people claim that they have seen his ghost
wandering around knocking the walls and sometimes laughing himself
Oulu castle is build on and island (pretty much whole Oulu is build on several close islands)
Some people believe that there is secret passages to other islands from Linnasaari (the castle island)
it is also believed that there is a treasure hidden somewhere to the walls of the secret passage
Some people believe that Montonen found the treasure and escaped through the secret passage
and it was someone else's body that was found face burned
so face couldn't be recogniced
nobody really knows what truly happened
Montonen is not the only ghost in the Oulu castle
There is also the ghost of Johannes Messenius
He was Swedish writer and historian and he was thrown to the dungeons in 1639
I visited this dungeon last summer it is quite a small space
I can't say I felt presence of ghosts there
I have a feeling that these particular ghosts rather appear during night time
Some of the stones in the wall seemed quite loose
it was easy to imagine secret passages opening
difficult to say how much they have rebuid the dungeon during the years
but it is interesting place to visit
There is also way younger ghost
from 20th century
There is a ghost story told about a young male graduate student
who jumped down from the astronomy tower killing himself
This young man was in love to an older lady
Woman was married and they were planning to elope together
Lady didn't arrived so the young man jumped because of broken heart
Many people have said that they have seen a shape of young student dressed up with bit old fashioned clothes
walking around the castle ruins
leaning to the fence in the top of the astronomy tower and smoking cigarettes
who knows...maybe he is really there
Sometimes I get this very sad melancholic feeling there in the tower
maybe it is the energy of this particular ghost
These were my stories today. I'll see you next time <3 Bye
