Ummm.....
Lets see here...
I thought I would do just a really really quick video on something that bothers me a
bit, that I don't understand quite, so you guys can tell me in the comments down below.
I want your opinion on different things & I will let you know what here in just a minute
Anyway...
Here we go!
So, as you all ummm.. know I applied for a contest.
Well, applied for several contests.
And so far every single contest I have tried entered it's to possibly win a trip to Japan.
As you all know, I really want to go to JAPAN!
And it's my dream to live in Japan,
I don't wanna live where I am at right now.
You know, if I had a chance to just up and move I would!
If somebody sit there and said, "Hey, I will give you/ I will help you pay for your flight
and help you get moved
And everything
Move you to Japan
but you just have to give up your US citizenship."
Sorry, but take that in a heart beat!
But anyway that is neither here or there.....
Like I have said the contests that I have entered, well at least the recent contest
that I had entered anyway.
It was to win a trip to Japan and for 30 days.
it's just travel around Japan and
It's to let people know who have never traveled to Japan or been to Japan
they have just seen pictures or videos and all that stuff.
It's toooo...
You know ....help.... bring more people
( Excuse me, I had to yawn).
Bring more people & tourists to Japan to help the economy.
Well
You know I have entered it.. entered it twice!
And both times I have got shot down.
I don't know why?
If it's because....
#1~ I can't totally speak the language?
... #2 ~ Because, of my size?....
(That Should Not Matter)...
Uhhhhh....
#3~ Because, I have a couple tattoos, umm that should not matter either!
Ummm...(clears throat) I do know that there are Onsens, that either
have a no tattoo policy or even though they have a no tattoo policy; if you have the proper
stuff...
Which I do!
I will show you in just a minute.
I have these which are called Hide Ink, and even though the coloring on it looks kinda
weird.

This is Just kinda a
ohhhhh...
just a sample pack that I bought
from Hide Ink.
They are really cool I, I have tried it.
And... they are Tattoo covers, they are waterproof tattoo covers!
I mean these things are AWESOME!
And they last for actually like a day or two!
But, the thing is .... I was fully prepared to cover my tattoos to show people Onsens
& you know just different places.
And show them My experience because to me well.....
You know if you've never been to Japan; you can relate to more people & people can relate
to you.
Because, Hello people are scared to travel, a lot of people are scared to go to Japan.
For 1~ Ridicule, 2~ can't speak the language, Ummmm....
3~ A lot of people don't like fish, so they are like "Oh, god you know Japan has a lot of sushi & stuff.
I don't wanna eat fish."
You, know I wanted to be able to show people my honest expression, my honest excitement,
and.......
opinions and everything.
All the different places in Japan.
But unfortunately, I did not get picked.
I was told that my videos were great, & my applications was great & I had very interesting
and good interview.
But there were other Travelers that were
BETTER!
Or one other traveler that was better.
Which ever the case may be, Ummmm....
HELLO!
Why would you want somebody that's already been to there?
Or for that matter of fact..
That why would you want somebody that lives there?? (in Japan)
You want people to come to your country; you want to invite somebody that is New, That
has never been there!
You want people to be able to relate to somebody that would be just like them.
And...
It's just my opinion & several other people's opinions..
Obviously, cause I have talked to several other people.
I was thinking about doing a video
and going around where I live and stuff, just getting
opinions of people.
You Know....
If ....
They had a chance to go to Japan or if they wanted to go to Japan but haven't, "What
is keeping them from going?".
Let me know in the comments below ⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇ If you think that would a good video or if
you would watch it or anything.
Also, you know
contests
I know You know; can be pretty biased or very biased sorry. if you have to do a video to enter....
IF you look at a lot of contests; especially if you have to do a video
To enter ....(excuse me I am Yawning again) I don't know why, it's not that late.?
But, they'll have contests, that you will sit there and say,; you know this is why I
want to do this... (blah...Blah..Blah)
I do like contests that are more even or equal.
That it's more based on that you can't do... like you know that there's one entry per
person, period. That's it just one!
Uhhhhhh.... (gathering thoughts)
A lot of the contests I have entered, that is the way it is; if you get caught trying to enter it more than one entry for that contest
you are disqualified.
Which is really cool.
From what I have heard
there's contests that
are in Japan; that a lot of people get picked
not because of their great essay, or they
great essay or .............
they did a great presentation or what not.
It's more because, ummmm.....
Popular vote........ or....
I don't know how to say it....
Ummm....
Favoritism!
That's one good way to say it.
I love Japan with all my heart and I know that stuff like this is everywhere around
the world but...
But...(yes but again)
My opinion...
If you want more people to go to Japan to experience it; whether it be clear up in Hokkaido
or all the way down in..
Fuuk....
Fukuoka (sorry said it wrong) & Okinawa and stuff like that.
If you want people to come to where you are and to build tourism.
It's a great thing to have
really awesome Youtubers or people that live there, that are Youtubers, you know they show people......
But, if your main point is to have; is to boost tourism in that certain place, prefecture
or region.
Your best bet is to get somebody who has no experience what so ever.
Because, I'm gonna say....
I am going to do a really rough guesstimate...
Maybe, maybe....
50%
of people don't know the Japanese Language.
uhmmmm...
Possibly have at least one tattoo
uuuhhhhh.....
you know
And Aren't
aren't ........ skinny mini's.
Aren't those model thin types.
I mean, yes I am a bit heavy and considered overweight
But, here's the thing....
I can use the bet on this
A lot of mine (my weight) comes from genetics.
I eat healthy
Well, as much as I can, I go walking
and uhhhmmmm
But I still
am the same weight, I have been for 20 years.
So..... Yeah. I have tried diets and everything else.
Sorry for Yawning but
I don't know why, I am just a little tired.
But, it might be all the rice I ate.
But like I said my opinion you know ... Japan is really Awesome
But, I would like to visit & I would like to show Japan through.... the people of the world, through my eyes.
Because I know a lot of people can relate to me.
Shoot, I live in a small itty bitty Podunk town
In Kansas
I mean it's not too small, yes we have a Wal-mart & stuff
But, its small......
Geez, I am yawning so much.
The matter of the fact is
that you know...
a lot of people
even around here
Aren't very well traveled
But would love to go to different places
And I know there's tons of people that I have talked too
That
You know
Just at my daughter's work or people that I have talked to out on the street say
"Oh my god, I would love to go to Japan! Wholly cow that is so cool!"
But, they are afraid of the language barrier,
their afraid....
you know that they would get made fun of.
Or..you know..
That its just not for them because of the food and the way the culture is.
I would...
You know ... It would be cool for me to be able to show them....Hey!
somebody from Kansas
that's pretty average
Can go there, have a blast
and find -n- discover new interesting things.
But, unfortunately... nope
I didn't get chosen.
Ummmmm
Fingers crossed for some other contests maybe that I have entered
But, you never know....
It's Just.......
there's a little bit about Japan that's a bit backwards.
I mean I understand that they have their traditions and the way they do things
But....
When you're trying to promote tourism or you want more people to come to your country
I believe you need
to
honestly take a step back
And see....
the..... bigger ....
Bigger Picture!
Because, You guys want somebody people are going to be able to relate too....
"Oh, they have a huge Youtube Channel or their well traveled or they got money or what not...
Or great photography skills...
Or video skills My video skills are ....
Maybe sub-par if
that And my picture taking skills ..ummm yeah anybody
can take a picture...
You know
I can can take a picture...
Its no problem.
But.......
You know people want
to
read
and watch somebody that
they can relate too.
Not somebody that's all
Boom.. hip.. high-up
And everything. Yes, there are people....
I will correct myself that, There are people
that they won't watch anybody
that is not skinny, & beautiful ...& yeah...
(insert sarcasm)
But......
On the other side of that
There is a lot more people
That are just average like me That would love to travel, that would love
Love to visit places Shoot, besides Japan.
I love Japan, I wanna live in Japan; that's my dream that is where I would like to live
the rest of my life.
But other than that, I would to visit Italy I would love to visit.....
You know...Germany I would love to visit England
I would love to visit ...
Africa.......And ..ummmmm
Egypt
And........
Indonesia and.....
There's so many places I would love to visit.
It's just because you know
I would like to show people, an average person like me
Can go to all these different countries or somewhere and
and.....
show people are nice people are friendly
And you know you would be able to have a good time and not be stressed
So....
Yeah, that's pretty much my little rant... umm
I hope you though are having a great

& not being picked.
It kinda does make my..... ummm.......

How do I say it make my year.....
kinda start out sucky...
But.....
That's okay, its just one contest... you know .

I am a very open and honest person

everywhere in the world if you are watching this, I don't

In the comments below.... Let's say.. lets give you a scenario..
Let's say .. Somebody came up to you and offered you
A Trip.....
It could be to Japan or wherever
But, let's just use Japan cause I love Japan.
If you were offered a trip to Japan
but they were wondering; what....
What are you worried about?
What would be keeping you
from taking that trip to Japan?
I know its a free trip, everybody's like I'll do it cause it's a free trip.
No!
Let's say ...you know
even though its a free trip...
Until now...
if for you do win that trip.... okay, say they.... you.... the thing you have
to tell them or write down........ "Why haven't you already taken the chance
to go to Japan?"
So what are your concerns or Questions about Japan that if somebody like me....
(like me, okay) Went to Japan, what would you like to see?
What would you want to know?
What questions would you like me to answer or find out for you?
That is something that I would like to know and you can leave your comments down below.

Because you know it does look & is a bit strange to me about the contest, I had entered.
