Like, we won together.

Politics, people are like "The fuck?

What are you talking about?"

Like, I didn't want to be a politician.

I just wanted to be somebody from the hood who made it out and just had an outlook on it.

There's this guy who could possibly be our president and he's black like us.

Not to say that that's the reason we're voting for him, but it's like damn, he made it this

far.

We gotta celebrate this.

He's this close to winning.

By the way, when I wrote the song, he didn't win until four months later.

So, it was like you kind of spoke it into existence.

I feel like he robbed us all, man.

Bush came in at a time, him and his family, and they came in and basically put the deficit

worse than it was.

They went to war for their oil, did all these things, and then they got the fuck on.

Then they got low.

This is the same guy that when we had a problem in Florida with the polls, he was cheating.

If I go around the corner and lay a nigga down, take his watch or some shit he got,

i'm a criminal.

Is he not a criminal?

Or am I tripping?

I've been in situations where A lot of big people might be on the email.

Jay Z, LA Reid, Kevin Lyles.

These are the powers that be.

And not to compare them to the other three individuals I'm talking about, but I'm saying

these are the three biggest people in this universe that I can think about having a conversation

with.

And I want to have this conversation with all of them at one time.

I'm just making a point because people from my city don't really care about crude oil.

They don't care, but I'm saying they're dying over shit as black as my homie.

That was just to let you know, I'm looking at it like that.

I'm putting that color on it so you can understand what I'm saying.

It's only a certain amount of people that's going to get that.

And that's what makes it dope to me.

When you're from where we from, you want your kids to be in the best shit possible, and

at the time, that was the fly shit we could get our hands on.

We didn't know nothing about the real designer clothes, so you would go into the local mall

in the Polo section for your kids, it's like you're a great father.

I still don't understand what that shit was about.

Because, me and Bun was like this.

It was like, "damn big homie.

What we doing?

It's us, never them.

We got to stand together."

When he reached out he reached out through one of my homies and I was sitting in the

car when he was talking to my guy on speakerphone.

He was like, "I love Jeezy.

We love Jeezy."

He was explaining it, and he was like "you should talk to him".

And I was like, "Man, I don't know man."

Because I just feel like I got played.

So, in my mind I'm thinking I'm just going to run into him and we're going to talk face-to-face,

and figure this shit out.

And then he passed, so that was that.

It's all love, Pimp.

I get it.

I think he gave us hope.

From where I'm standing, he showed A lot of up-and-coming people in this generation...

I think he led by perfect example, meaning he showed people how to move as a unit, and

be a family.

And strive.

I think that was more than any Obamacare or anything he could've done.

He led by example.

We never saw that shit.

But, at the same time, I think through a lot of fucked up situations, he kept people calm,

because he was always cool.

He never panicked in a way that made you feel like...

And that's just like the big Homie from the hood.

When shit happens, it don't matter if somebody gets killed or something bad happens, he's

always there like, "It's going to be alright.

I got y'all if you need anything".

It's just that type of feel.

Stages of labor - physiology - Duration: 8:59.

Labor, also called parturition, describes the hard work of delivering a baby!

It specifically refers to the process which starts with uterine contractions which cause

cervical changes which allow the fetus to be delivered vaginally, and ends with delivery

of the placenta.

Labor typically begins at some point when the fetus is considered full term—between

37 and 42 weeks' gestation.

In the third trimester, before labor starts, a woman might have a plug of mucus and blood

fall out of the opening to the cervix, sometimes called a "bloody show".

Other times the amniotic sac might rupture, sometimes called "water breaking".

Either of these can trigger the onset of labor and so-called true labor contractions.

These guys have to be distinguished from the milder and ineffective false labor contractions,

also called Braxton Hicks contractions (or sometimes called practice contractions).

Once they start, true labor contractions progress in frequency, duration, and intensity, and

they can feel like waves that build up to a peak intensity and then gradually decrease.

The contractions pull on the thick tissues of the cervix, causing it to efface or get

thinner and also dilate or open up, so then the fetus can leave the uterus and enter the

world.

From the moment true contractions begin to the baby's delivery usually takes about

12 to 18 hours for a first-time pregnancy, and about half that time for subsequent pregnancies.

Although, as any mother knows, this time can vary a lot!

Even though labor is a continuous process, it can be broken down into three stages.

Additionally, this first stage is subdivided into three phases.

The first phase is the early phase or latent phase, and usually lasts 8-12 hours with irregular

contractions that occur every 5 - 30 minutes and last about 30 seconds each, causing the

cervix to dilate from 0 cm to about 3 cm and efface from about 0% - 30%.The active phase

of the first stage usually lasts 3-5 hours with regular contractions that happen every

3 - 5 minutes and last about a minute or more, and this causes the cervix to dilate from

3 cm to about 7 cm and efface to about 80%.

Finally, at the end of the first stage of labor, there's the transition phase, which

usually lasts 30 minutes to 2 hours with very intense contractions that happen with only

30 seconds to 2 minutes of rest in between and last 60-90 seconds each, sometimes overlapping

a bit, with one contraction beginning before the previous one is done.

This is the most intense phase, but it's also the shortest, and causes the cervix to

fully dilate from 7 cm to 10 cm with 100% effacement.

Also, the amniotic sac often ruptures at this point if it hasn't already.

Now that the cervix is fully dilated, we enter the second stage of labor can be thought of

as the pushing stage.

During this stage, the critical thing is for the baby,and in particular the baby's head,

to navigate through the maternal pelvis, and this depends on the "3 Ps" - power, passenger,

and passage.

Power refers to forceful uterine contractions, passenger refers to the fetus, and passage

refers to the route that the fetus has to travel through the bony pelvis.

In fact, the relationship between the baby's head and the bony pelvis is so critical, that

human babies have evolved with unfused skulls, just so their head can be as large as possible

and still successfully and safely make that passage through the pelvis into the world.

Now there're a few factors that determine how easy this passage is for the fetus.

First is fetal size, the critical factor is the size of the fetal head.

Also though there's fetal attitude, which refers to the way that the fetal body is flexed,

not its personality.

When labor starts, the fetus is normally fully flexed, which means chin is on the chest,

and they have a rounded back with flexed arms and legs.

In this position, the smallest diameter (which is referred to as the suboccipitobregmatic

diameter) presents at the pelvic inlet.

Larger fetuses and those that aren't completely flexed have more difficulty making it through

the passage.

Next there's fetal lie, which describes how the fetus is positioned in the uterus.

A longitudinal fetal lie is ideal, where the long axis of the fetus, which is its spine,

lies along the maternal long axis—the mom's spine.

The fetus can also be transverse though, where the fetal spine is perpendicular to mom's

spine, or it can be oblique, where it's slightly at an angle, and these two positions

can impede the progression of labor.

Finally, there's fetal presentation which refers to the first fetal part, called the

presenting part, to descend into the pelvic inlet.

Cephalic, or head-first, is the first type, and furthermore the most common and optimal

presentation for easy delivery is a type of cephalic presentation called vertex, which

includes complete flexion of the head as well.

Also though, there's breech presentation (which is head up, so the bottom, feet, or

knees present first), as well as shoulder (where the shoulders present first).

To make it through the passage, the fetus makes several positional changes which are

called cardinal movements or mechanisms of labor.

Initially there is descent, which is the downward movement of the fetus to the pelvic inlet.

The degree of descent is called the fetal station, which is described in terms of the

relationship of the presenting part to mom's ischial spines.

The fetus moves from the pelvic inlet (which is about minus 5 station) down to the ischial

spines (which is station 0), and this position's called engagement.

Then there's flexion, where the fetal chin presses against its chest as its head meets

resistance from the pelvic floor.

Next there's internal rotation, where the fetal shoulders internally rotate by 45 degrees

so the widest part of the shoulders are in line with the widest part of the pelvic inlet.

After the fetal head passes under the symphysis pubis (which is at about +4 station), there's

extension, which is where the fetal head will change from flexion to extension, and then

they move to about +5 station and emerge from the vagina.

After the delivery of the head, there's restitution, where the head externally rotates

so that the shoulders can pass through the pelvic outlet and under the symphysis pubis.

And finally there's expulsion, where the anterior shoulder slips under the symphysis

pubis, followed by the posterior shoulder, and then finally followed by the rest of the

body.

This marks the end of the second stage of labor.

The third stage of labor occurs after the baby has been delivered, and involves delivery

of the placenta.

After the baby's is delivered, the uterus contracts firmly and the placenta begins to

separate from the uterine wall.

It's then carefully removed to ensure that there are no placental remnants left in the

uterus.

Sometimes the several-hours after delivery is called the "fourth stage", because

there are major physiologic changes like adaption to the blood loss, and the start of uterine

involution, where the uterus begins returning to its pre-pregnant state.

Alright, as a quick recap, labor is composed 3 stages.

The first stage starts with true labor contractions and ends when the cervix is completely effaced

and dilated.

The second stage is the pushing stage, which ends with the birth of the baby.

The third stage ends with delivery of the placenta.

The Largest Electrical Current in the Universe - Duration: 3:47.

In 2011, an international team of four astronomers were looking through

telescope data when they found evidence of something unusual:

A jet of matter was producing an electric current of 3 exa amps

a quintillion amps!

That's about as much current as you'd find in a trillion lightning bolts.

It was the largest electrical current ever discovered in space.

And this jet is shooting out of the center of a galaxy

two billion light years from Earth.

The galaxy is called 3C303, and it's in the direction of the Boötes constellation,

and it's about a thousand times dimmer than Pluto is on an average day.

So, it's pretty hard to see this galaxy.

But just because it's not very bright in visible light,

doesn't mean it isn't bright in other wavelengths of light.

3C303 was first observed back in 1981,

by a series of radio telescopes in New Mexico called the Very Large Array.

The team of researchers who discovered the huge electrical current

used that data, plus follow-up observations taken in 2010 and 2011.

They published their findings in

The Astrophysical Journal Letters in October 2011.

The main thing they found was this record-breaking current,

but they also discovered something else: the jet itself is huge.

It's being pushed outward at least

150,000 light years from the center of the galaxy

meaning that this jet is longer than the Milky Way,

which is 100,000 light years across.

A jet this powerful must be fueled by something even more powerful:

the supermassive black hole in the center of the galaxy.

Most big, active galaxies have supermassive black holes.

And lots of these supermassive black holes

have huge jets of matter shooting away from them.

The jets come from a thin, rotating disk around the black hole,

called the accretion disk, which is made of gas, dust,

and even doomed stars that got too close to the black hole.

All this stuff is stuck rotating around the black hole, pulled in by its gravity.

It'll either rotate forever or eventually be sucked in and never seen again.

The matter in this disk is spun at such high speeds,

and the turbulence heats it to such high temperatures,

that the atoms break down into charged plasma particles.

And that's what leads to a huge electrical current in the jet.

The charged particles create electric and magnetic fields,

which eventually force some of this plasma into a column,

and shoots it outward in the form of a jet.

These speeding charged particles create electrical current.

Lots of electrical current.

Of all the active galaxies with active supermassive black holes in their centers,

only about 10% have been found to have jets spewing out matter.

But all of these jets will have electric currents running through them.

But why is 3C303's current so astonishingly, exceptionally,

record-breakingly huge?

Well, the amount of current that these jets carry

is related to the strength of the black hole's accretion disk.

Some of these jets shoot out for millions of years, and others fizzle out.

3C303's black hole jet is thought to be so electrified

because its black hole accretion disk is so active

that it has an unusually strong magnetic field,

which creates a larger amount of electricity.

The researchers pointed out in their paper that this was a rare opportunity

and the first direct measure of the strength of a large jet's electric current.

But as radio telescopes become more sensitive,

we should be able to observe more bright jets like this one

plus whatever giant currents are running through them.

Ethics Lawyers For Bush, Obama Beg Senate To Postpone Trump Cabinet Hearings - Duration: 4:57.

All throughout this week Donald Trump's cabinet picks are going to go through the confirmation

and hearing process in the Senate.

Here's the problem.

According to two ethics lawyers for both George W. Bush and Barack Obama this process has

to be postponed until these cabinet picks have gone through the full vetting process,

specifically these people who are up for the cabinet positions need to fulfill their commitment

as a public servant and release their financial disclosure records so that we can prevent

any conflicts of interest from arising while these people are trying to serve in office.

Here's the thing that the Republicans don't actually understand.

They're trying to shove these confirmations down our throats and make sure that these

people get in as quickly as possible, even though every single one of them is grossly

unqualified for their position and every single one of them has a conflict of interest that

has not been addressed yet, possibly the exception of Rex Tillerson who actually did sell of

his interest.

It's problematic for Republicans because if these nominees do not submit their full financial

disclosure reports and find themselves in a conflict of interest down the road because

they didn't disclose they are then subject to removal from office.

How's that going to work out for the Republican party?

How's that going to look for you for the midterm elections in two years?

How's that going to look for Donald Trump's reelection in 2020?

It's going to look pretty bad.

You're doing nothing but hurting yourselves by trying to force these nominees through.

This is a process that even Mitch McConnell himself back in 2009 said absolutely wasn't

going to happen, and yet today he's telling Democrats, "Oh grow up."

That is what he said, "grow up" and just confirm these people.

It doesn't matter that they don't have these financial disclosure forms.

It doesn't matter that they haven't been properly vetted.

It doesn't matter that they haven't sold off interest in the specific realm of the agency

that they want to head.

For example, Betsy DeVos has millions invested in private online charter school programs,

and yet she is in line to be Secretary of Education, a position which she could financially

benefit from if she does not recuse herself from any issue involving online charter schools.

Obviously she's not going to do that.

She is one of the people who has not disclosed a financial report.

We only know about this because of tax returns and investment information, but she hasn't

told the Senate.

I'm sure they know, but the public doesn't know and that's the problem.

This isn't about letting the Senate find out who these creepy cast of characters truly

are, they know.

It's the public that needs to know.

We need to know every relevant piece of information about every single one of these nominees that

Republicans are sitting there trying to get confirmed this week, and we don't.

We can do the best research possible, but we still don't know everything because some

things such as financial records are not readily available in every case.

That's why this is important.

This is about transparency.

This is about ethics and this is about the basic right of voters to be able to make an

informed decision when they head into the midterms or the 2020 presidential election.

We need to know what is really going on, who these people are and how they plan on using

these offices to enrich themselves.

Again, that is what this is about.

That's why Donald Trump picked these specific people like Rex Tillerson and Betsy DeVos.

They're going to use their positions to make more money.

Yeah, Rex Tillerson sold off his shares, that doesn't matter because once he's done with

Secretary of State he's going to go right back to Exxon or some other oil company.

Plus, this blind trust that he's set up is going to benefit greatly from everything that

he does.

That's why we as the public deserve to know.

We deserve better than what the Republicans have to offer.

Andre Rene Rousimoff, more famously known as Andre the Giant was a successful professional

wrestler and actor.

He was billed as a 7 foot 4 inch tall mammoth of a man and weighed in at over 500 pounds.

A man of this size must be able to hold his liquor right?

Well that would be a major understatement.

Andre the Giant confirmed that he once drank 119 beers in a single night.

Some people even say they witnessed Andre take down over 150 beers in a sitting!

Although this isn't in the official record books, many credible people have confirmed

the claim.

Having Hiccups sucks.

Sometimes they last just a few minutes, and sometimes hours, but imagine having them for

68 years!

That is exactly what Charles Osborne had to deal with.

The reasoning for his seemingly everlasting hiccups was a tiny popped blood vessel in

his head.

It was said that he was hiccupping over 24,000 times a day, every day.

It's estimated that he hiccupped over 595 million times in his life!

At least Charles had some peace as the hiccups stopped eventually, but unfortunately he died

just a few months later.

Ted Martin didn't play professional or college basketball, nor was he great when he played

for his high school team, but Ted holds the record for making the most free throws in

a row!

He started off by beating the previous record of 499 in 1975.

In short, he absolutely demolished that record.

He made 739 free throws in a row before he finally missed, but he wasn't done there.

Martin continuously tried to outdo himself, and it resulted in the world record of 5221

free throws in a row!

Lightning Strikes kill an estimated 24,000 people each year around the world.

The chances of getting struck by lightning however are very low with odds around 1 in

700,000 in the United States.

A man named Roy Sullivan managed to defy these odds and got struck seven times in his lifetime.

Over the span of 35 years, he was struck by lightning on seven different occasions.

He wasn't unscathed though, as he did have some searing on his arms and legs, along with

having his eyebrows and hair burned off.

Even though nature could not take him down, Roy sadly took his own life in 1983.

We can all agree that Shaquille O'Neal is very tall standing at 7 feet.

Andre the Giant was even taller than him, and former NBA player Yao Ming stood even

higher at 7 foot 6.

These are some insanely tall people, but they don't even compare in the slightest to the

tallest man who ever lived.

Robert Wadlow at the age of 22, stood at gigantic 8 feet 11 inches tall!

Unfortunately he passed away at just 22 years old when a blister on his leg become infected.

For comparisons sake, Wadlow was just as tall, if not taller, than the average African Elephant.

So we're rolling out personalized push

notifications by TUNE and that is the

ability to inject custom profile data

into the messaging on a one-to-one

personalized basis. The reason why we

think we're building the best-in-class

product here is because we're allowing

customers to not just go and personalize

their message but also personalize the

deep action that they're using,

personalize the payload that goes

down to the device, all these things that

really can give them more power in terms

of sending out notifications and driving

that better engagement. So push

notifications are those little alerts

There's nothing more annoying than

getting tons of push notifications that

that don't pertain to you. Think of email

without personalization. Right? Is that an email

that you engage with or is it an email

that you just click delete and move on

with your day? Personalized push

notifications are essentially that for

your mobile channel, right?

Engaging messaging that is relevant that is

timely that is prudent that beats in the

narrative that you think best conveys

your brand to a specific consumer. A

message that moves the needle a message

that gets your user to their intended

action. So the way that personalization

works for our customers is that through

our SDK we're collecting all this great

information about our customers: what

they're doing in the app, gender,

their age, whatever you provide to us through

the SDK, we're collecting that

information. The customer in the In-App

Marketing platform can create a

notification that is using that

information to create a more engaging

push. Let's say that they have

customers that are around the world for

French and Germany and different

languages that but these customers want

to see in there push notifications.

Welcome to the ElfQuest Collector's Guide

showcasing a different collectible or

unboxing video in every episode! I'm your

pack leader for this hunt, Mandy

Roncalio-Meyer, or as a known around the

ElfQuest Web world as my elf-self, Shadowfire.

today I actually have a very special

unboxing! I got sent some Christmas

presents from some other ElfQuest fans!

I don't know what's in these boxes so it's

going to be a surprise, obviously! I'm--I'm

hoping there's ElfQuest stuff in here, i don't know.

i'm going to appreciate whatever I get!

but I have a feeling there might be some

ElfQuest stuff in here, so i thought i might

share this with you guys. ahh--part of this

was also, um... a part of the "Secret Jolly

Ol' High-Thing" event that we started

in the ElfQuest Collectors Unite group on Facebook.

umm... it was a Secret Santa event! and it was our

first one in the group! it went over

amazingly! it was awesome! everybody had a

lot of fun,

they got some really cool gifts passed

around, um-- and I'm excited to see what i got!

uh-- my co-host for the event was Amber Payne.

some people around the ElfQuest groups on

Facebook probably know her, she also

likes to do unboxing videos in the

collector group. um-- but she was my Secret

Santa, of sorts. her and i were the co-hosts

and so to make things easy,

we decided that we would re--uh-- gift each

other, just keep all the secrecy easier

for everyone else.

so Amber and I gifted each other, while

everybody else's "Santa's" or "Secret Jolly

Ol' High-Things" were kept secret

from them until they received their gifts...

and I think even some people still don't know

who they got gifts from! but in any case,

it was a really awesome event! uh-- it was a

great show of generosity within the tribe!

i was very proud to see how awesome and

generous fans can be to each other when

we-- when we care, when we love each other,

when we try to do good! this was our

first gift-giving event, it-- like i said

it went over amazingly! so I'm hoping to

do more in the future! so if you're part

of the ElfQuest Collectors Unite group on

Facebook, keep an eye out! i'm hoping to

do more events like that! anyway so this

was my secret gift-- Secret Santa gift.

I can't wait to see what Amber sent me!

of course obviously I know who sent it to me, but...

she wrote on it, I don't want to read it

because it's private messages to me, but

I'm very happy with it. i'll read a couple

of them... uumm...

this is awesome!

this came out of a set of three: Flora,

Fauna, and Mycota, and they were a s-- uh, rare

set that Wendy did back in... uhh-- 1981,

i can look right here on the print.

i haven't done much research on these yet

because i don't-- i didn't have any of

them, but now i have Flora!!

oh she's beautiful!! I've been watching

this on eBay, i just hadn't ever gotten a

chance to actually purchase it for

myself! I don't have Fauna or Mycota, but

now i am definitely--definitely looking

forward to finishing this set! oh my god

these are gorgeous! 'course it's Wendy's art,

non-ElfQuest art, but Wendy's art

non the less! none-the-less!

and this is actually a costume I want

um... this is the Portfolio II (2) cover, it's

not actually the portfolio itself, which

i already have, but it's just the cover.

and what was interesting about this was

that this came to--straight from the

distributed--distributors that created

the print. they had printed out extras of

just the cover, not of the prints inside,

and they were selling these on ebay. and I

was gonna get around to getting one and

Amber got one for me! what's really cool

is that the spot where it would be

numbered has no number because this was

never put into circulation!

this has never had the prints inside of

it, it's just the cover and I think it's

gorgeous! i'm going to frame this

separately from my actual art portfolio,

so that I just have this to look at

really nicely too! thank you Amber! she put

a lot of thought into these, I can tell

because it was from, um... discussions we've

had on Facebook, and just from her

getting to know me personally.

thank you so much, Amber! that stuff means so much to me!

Umm... okay so this next box comes *attempts to do a British Accent* all the way

from merry old England! *normal voice* that was a

horrible accent, and I apologize to any

British fans, including the person that

this fr-- is from, my Soul Sister, Raevienne!

uh-- i have no idea what's in it, but I'm excited to

see some stuff from "Across the Pond," as

it's called. Jolly Old England!

now, this is pretty cool! this is a USB

that me and Raevienne are going to use to

like that. i mean i know we have the

internet, guys, but this is kind of closer

to actual, like, snail mail, Pen-Palling.

and we thought it'd be kind of fun to

try out! so, I like that-- this is the start

of it, this is the very beginning of it!

and i like how Rae put a nice little...

key-chain on there, so it's easily found!

i wanna look at it...

cool little trinkets... little-- mostly

hearts and some flowers, there's a butterfly.

little purses... but in any case, that's what

that's for! so, I'm gonna check out what

you put on there, Rae, and I'm gonna put some

stuff on there too...

is what I'm guessing. little hair st--hair

extension with feathers. Ah!

as you guys can tell, i love my feather hair

extensions! absolutely love them! i actually

had my new puppy chew on my favorite one, not

long ago, but i was able to get this one

to replace it, so i'm happy! this is a very

pretty one, with purple, and peacock

feathers, and all that! but, I love feathery hair

extensions! they're so pretty! and those are so fun

whoo...

ooohhhh!! it's a feather-- it's a

butterfly, pretty butterfly scarf

i'm not sure what that is, but it's kind of

cute... little, like, smiley teardrop guy!

my kids will probably have fun sponging

both Amber and Rae not only sent gifts for me,

but they sent gifts for my kids and my

husband, that's really nice!!

i'm not really heavily into

steampunk, but i do like steampunk! i think it's

very cool! i wish i could cosplay it, but

looks like a lot of work for me! *laughs*

but that's a nice little stretch cloth... i'll have to think

about something cool to make with that!

it's like Cadbury hot chocolate! hmmm...

we have Cadbury over here, but I didn't

know they made hot chocolate! that could

just be me not knowing, or it might be that we don't

have it over here. i'm not sure...

that's the other fun thing about getting a

package from England, is they have stuff

over there, that we don't have over here,

and vice versa! i sent her package that

has a bunch of ElfQuest stuff, and she was

REALLY excited about that, because ElfQuest

is really hard to find over there!

at least, where she is.

so, it's kinda interesting to see how things are

differently between England and America!

and that's one of the things I really

love about my friendship with Rae, is

because we get to share all sorts of

little stories and tidbits and things

about our--the different places we're from.

so that's cool!

*clears throat*

*annoying Facebook noise in background*

A-ha-ha! a Santa hat!

it's after Christmas this year, but i will

enjoy wearing that next year!

i actually, wish I had HAD a Santa Hat this year, but

I didn't get one. but now I have one!

so i will definitely be sure to wear this next year!

i knew there'd be something ElfQuest in here,

i just had a feeling!

look, One-Eye and Clearbrook, these are the

um... greeting cards from RedBubble, guys!

so you know how I've been getting RedBubble

items, well these are some i actually

didn't have! some of the greeting cards! so they're

really beautiful, they're really well-made cards, uh--

this is obviously just the greeting card

style. RedBubble also has postcard style.

i haven't gotten any of their postcards

yet, but I'm gonna look forward to

getting some of those. and so, YAY!

oh, and then that's just the envelope for them.

now that's also interesting...

a difference-- i don't know if this is just

RedBubble does different things between

their U.K. store, and their U.S. store, but

this is really interesting because when

i ordered the greeting cards from

RedBubble, the envelopes were not

self-adhesive. they were the typical--

bleeeeh

lick-ones, so i don't-- i just find that

interesting once again just little

tidbits between the U.K. and the U.S. that

they're just kind of interesting to see!

why-- i wonder why they have little differences

like that, like... why? WHY?

*squeaky voice* WHY??

and theeen... what's in this one?

oh, it's another ElfQuest card!

and see-- Rae, thank you for listening to my

advice! it's very very smart if you guys

get the greeting cards from RedBubble, that

you don't write in them! because if you

write in them, it doesn't make them as

collectible. and i know some people don't

care, they just want the greeting card and

they want it to be personalized, but your

collector friends that are going to be

receiving cards from you will appreciate

it if you don't actually write in the

card! what you can do, what I did with my

greeting cards this year, my Christmas

cards, is I took a slip of paper and i

wrote my individual notes on those, and

then the slip of paper would get slipped inside

the card and put in the envelope.

so that you don't actually write on the card itself

but, uh-- so Rae listened to

my advice on that one. thank you for

listening Rae, and it's very--a very kind of

cool little tip for people.

so anyway, so I got a couple of ElfQuest cards!

so it'll help my kids to get their homework

done. it's a little reward chart so, you

know, you write down what their homework

is and then if they do it they get a

sticker, and then maybe all the way at the end,

they get a prize or something like that.

but it's really cool, thank you Rae!

whatever I want in there! it's really

cool! i like that! i'm definitely going to

keep this for our adventures, Rae! I'm

going to put everything that I think has

meaning that you've sent me, letters

cards... anything flat that i can fit in here...

I want to definitely keep this going!

with Santa, it says "Happy Christmas," which is a very British

sounding saying, i don't know why but

over here in America we usually say,

"Merry Christmas" and I've heard in

the UK they say a lot of "Happy Christmas!"

so I don't know why there's the

difference, but it's kind of a fun--

another fun little, you know, detail

between the two different places.

so, Happy Christmas!

and last-- just a fun little dongle... makes me

feel like a cat, i just want to...

bat at it!

it's just so easy to play with...

I don't have cats... i have dogs... but maybe

i'll be the cat for this...

gaaah! i keep wanting to grab it and it just keeps it away from you... like a cat toy!

will be a little decoration on the wall...

oriented. it's a little bit more of a

vlog, which to let you guys know I also

want to start doing. uh, when I start doing my

vlogs they're gonna be really raw though, guys...

uh--eh--it'll be doubtful that i'll have makeup

on, you guys are going to be lucky if I

brush my hair, because that's how it is most of the days

around here. I'm a stay at home mom,

so I don't always look nice like this

everyday... so when I do my vlogs they're

going to be a little more on-the-go, on

the fly... um, when I find out some kind of

cool news that happens, i'm gonna pull out my

camera and vlog it for you guys, maybe

kinda do like a little newsreel or

something, but in any case, i'm hoping to do

a lot of great things, this coming year

with my channel! um, got a lot of great

plans up here! uh, i'm hoping to do vlogs, i'm

starting to think of maybe some more

funny things, we like little skits and

things like that... like I've talked about

in the past but just haven't done yet.

uh, my channel still new guys! i've only been

around for about five, maybe six months...

so stay tuned because I've got plenty

more in--in mind! I want to do a lot with

this channel! i want to have a lot of fun!

um, i want to do news, i want to do vlogs...

it's gonna be good stuff!

planned! yes an ElfQuest convention, you

guys!! I'm getting chills, ok?

right now! it is currently planned for

June 2018 and the city (state) has been decided!

it is going to happen in New York!

so, I've never been that far!

I--I currently live in Oregon, and i've

only been to Oregon, California, and

Nevada! so going all the way to New York is

going to be quite the cr-- the quest

for me, but I'm looking forward to doing

it! and stay tuned because i'm going to

vlog the whole thing! I'm gonna--I'm gonna

bring my camera with me, i'm going to be

vlogging the Quest to get to the

Gathering.

I'm going to be vlogging the Gathering

itself, i'm gonna be talking to people...

it's gonna be great! it's gonna be

exciting, guys! so that's coming up in

June 2018! get ready, start making your

plans, and start getting some cosplays

ready! i know i'm planning on cosplaying

and i hope i see a lot of awesome

cosplays there, because ElfQuest cosplays are the best!
