In this video you will learn how to add bicone crystal into flat peyote stitch.

For example this one

We will see how to make a necessary hole to put a bicone crystal.

Now let's list our materials and start to work.

Materials:

2 colors 11/0 delica beads

4 mm bicone crystal

Beading thread and beading needle

we will make this work as odd count flat peyote.

starting 13 beads

15-17-19 ... (odd count) beads can be made for wider work.

we are working on add count to keep the crystal in the middle.

Stopper bead and 13 blue beads on thread string.(row 1-2)

now, working odd count peyote stitch

those who do not know the odd count peyote, can follow the link above.

Row 3: 3 times with blue beads, 1 time with green bead and 3 times with blue beads peyote

3 times with blue, 1 time green and

3 times blue beads

go down through this two beads

because the thread must be in this direction.

i go down through two beads for this

and go through up three beads

go through the top bead

Row 4: 2 times with blue beads, 2 times with green beads and 2 times with blue beads peyote

i made 2 times blue, 2 times green, 2 times blue peyote

Row 5: 2 times with blue beads, 1 time with green bead peyote. Go through 2 green beads. 1 time with green bead and 2 times with blue beads peyote.

Row 6: 1 time with blue bead, 1 time with green bead peyote. Go through 4 green beads. 1 time with green bead and 1 time with blue bead peyote.

I'm adding crystal in the 7th row.

Row 7: 1 time with blue bead, 1 time with green bead peyote. string 1 blue bead-1 crystal-1 blue bead and go through green bead. 1 time with green bead and 1 time with blue bead peyote.

Row 8: 1 time with blue bead peyote. String 1 green bead and go through blue bead-crystal-blue bead. 1 time with green bead, 1 time with blue bead peyote.

Row 9: 2 times with blue beads peyote. string 5 green beads and go through green bead. 2 times with blue beads peyote.

Row 10: 2 times with blue beads peyote. Go through 4 green beads. 2 times with blue beads peyote.

Row 11: 3 times with blue beads peyote. Go through 2 green beads. And 3 times with blue beads peyote.

Row 12: 6 times with blue beads peyote.

Row 13: 7 times with blue beads peyote.

As you can see, crystal is added.

it was a nice and smooth working. :)

With this technique you can make rings, anklets, bracelets.

You can make different models.
