Video Star is a great app to use to make fan edits
and lip-sync music videos.
To begin, pick a song using either this week's free song
or use audio from your device.
Don't forget to choose your video format before continuing.
To learn more about each format, tap the info button.
The Edit Video option is great when editing a single video,
like one recorded in TikTok,
but here we'll tap select song
and pick one from our device.
Use these buttons to set the start
and end points of your audio,
and this button to preview it.
Use the Adjust Speed
to change the speed and pitch of the audio.
Once finished, tap Make Video.
Welcome to the Edit Screen.
Let's start by recording a video.
Tap Record Video from the Add menu.
On the record screen,
tap the plus button then pick an effect
like the Sunburned effect on the color tab.
Tap the AutoStop button and set when to stop recording.
Tap record,
get into place and sing or dance along with the music.
Once finished,
tap the X to go back to the Edit screen.
Tap on the screen to preview your clip.
To add a clip from your camera roll,
tap add and import.
We'll import a photo.
Once your photo is selected,
tap play and set length to choose the photo length.
Use these arrows to nudge the length.
To add a simple transition between these two scenes,
use these arrows to choose the first scene,
tap New,
tap Re-Effect,
tap the plus button,
and search for Slides.
To animate the effect,
we'll tap re-effect
then adjust this slider on the left side of the screen.
If you don't see the slider,
tap this button to reveal it.
Now do the same for the next scene,
and reverse the direction.
For more powerful effects like Time Slicer,
or Custom Coloring,
go to the Clip Transformer.
To combine multiple clips and animate them,
use the Clip Mixer or Multi-Layer.
Tap Edit to split or merge your scenes together.
To share your video,
tap the X and tap the share button,
