• What game originally featured an old man beating up superheroes to steal a girl's
panties?
What is the "Stop N' Swop," and how did Nintendo kill it without even meaning
to?
From deleted scenes to last-minute re-writes, here are 10 crazy pieces of cut or changed
content in video games.
10 – Arwing Fight (Zelda Ocarina of Time) • Deep in the game files of The Legend of
Zelda: Ocarina of Time, there is an Arwing from Star Fox 64.
• And it isn't just a model.
It's a fully-rendered enemy that flies around, shoots lasers at Link, and even has fully-animated
intro and death animations.
• The speculation is that they used the model to test the patterns of flying enemies
in the game.
But it still exists in the game code, it just never spawns during normal gameplay.
9 – Language (Atomic Bomberman) • Atomic Bomberman was the first Bomberman
game to be developed for Windows, and Interplay Productions was going to take a… unique
spin on it.
• They hired Billy West (Fry from Futurama) and Charlie Adler (Buster Bunny from Tiny
Toon Adventures) to provide voices for the characters… and it turned into a profanity-laced
tirade.
• Those lines were eventually cut from the game, and it would have been difficult to
look at Bomberman the same if they hadn't.
8 – Gojira (Fallout New Vegas) • Fallout loves to take one of its monsters
and just make it super huge.
• In Fallout New Vegas, they were going to take that to extreme measures.
• Gojira was to be a super-sized, fire-breathing Gecko roaming the desert.
His fire breath would have done thousands of points of damage per second – enough
to toast all the bosses in the game in under a minute.
• Gojira could have been avoided with the Animal Friend perk, but since he never made
it into the final game, now you don't have to.
7 – Ending Sequence (Metal Gear Solid 2) • Metal Gear Solid 2 had an odd release
window.
• The game about stopping a major act of international terrorism released on November
12, 2001 – about 2 months after the 9/11 attacks in America.
• And the original version of the game featured a cutscene of Arsenal Gear tearing through
and destroying a decent portion of New York City.
• Another cutscene, a news broadcast about how the Statue of Liberty is now sitting on
Ellis Island, was also cut.
• American flags were also removed from the ending, including a scene in which Raiden
cuts the rope on the Federal Hall flagpole, downing the American flag to fall over the
body of Solidus Snake.
6 – Dark Dialogue (Portal 2) • The dialogue featuring Cave Johnson and
Caroline is some of the most memorable in all of Portal 2.
• But what was originally written got a lot worse than just the "lemon" rant.
• There was initially a sequence in which Cave Johnson's consciousness was trapped
in a small cube in the Aperture Science labs, and the player was forced to assist in his
suicide in order to proceed.
• Another bit of dialogue featured Caroline begging not to be forced into a robot body.
5 – Stop N' Swop (Banjo Kazooie/Tooie) • This was a bizarre function that originally
intended to use a little-known hardware function of the Nintendo 64.
• The idea was to reward people who owned both Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie, by allowing
data to carry over.
• But they weren't planning on using a memory card.
The idea was to activate the Stop N' Swop in Banjo Kazooie, switch the console off,
and insert Banjo Tooie.
• The N64 would keep data active for 10 seconds after a game being switched off, creating
just enough time to swap games.
• But once they'd created the Stop N' Swop system, Nintendo made changes to the
N64, and that 10-second window became one second, making the swap basically impossible.
4 – Johnny Boss Fight (Chrono Trigger) • There is a Transformer-like robot who
challenges you to a race to cross the ruins at Site 32 in Chrono Trigger.
• And in the game we got… that's ALL Johnny is.
• But buried in the game's code, Johnny has stats for battle.
So even though he never takes up arms in the game, it seems at one point, the cool jetbike
bot was intended to be a battle.
3 – Norimaro (Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter)
• Norimaro isn't a cut character if you play the Japanese version of Marvel Super
Heroes vs. Street Fighter.
• And he almost ended up in the English version – some files in the game show him
with English voice clips and dialogue.
• But they decided against it… because Norimaro's whole backstory is that he is
an old pervert dressed as a schoolboy who came to the tournament by accident.
And he basically just wants to molest the girls in the game.
• His ending in the arcade mode of the game is that he gets Chun-Li's panties.
That's basically it.
An old Japanese man beats up the Incredible Hulk to get Chun-Li's panties.
2 – The Main Character (Final Fantasy 12) • The main character in Final Fantasy 12
isn't exactly cut.
He's still there.
He just isn't the main character.
• Basch was intended to be the main character of the game, but Square Enix was concerned
that the grizzled, 30-year-old disgraced knight wouldn't resonate with fans.
• So a writing change at the last minute attempted to insert Vaan into the game, pushing
Basch off into a supporting role.
• This is why a good portion of the story in the middle section seems to more-or-less
forget Vaan exists, and is largely jumbled throughout.
• So in other words, the entire story of Final Fantasy 12 that WOULD have featured
Basch… was cut and no longer exists.
1 – Dark Energy (Mass Effect Trilogy) • The ending of Mass Effect 3 is famous
for being one of the biggest letdowns in gaming.
The three endings you have to choose from are just about the same.
• But there was another plotline building up over the course of the series that was
simply dropped.
• At one point, Tali mentions something about "Dark Energy."
That never really comes into play, but it was originally supposed to be a huge plot
point.
• The story was GOING to be that the Reapers had discovered the secrets of Dark Energy,
and realized it could destroy the entire universe if weaponized.
• So they made it their work to eliminate civilizations when they started getting close
to being able to discover and research Dark Energy.
• This plotline left the game along with its lead writer, so that isn't the story
we got.

Video 2 - Confidence - Duration: 4:56.Hey hello! This is Pacita Florida and this is video number two of my series on
confidence. In video number one will learned what confidence is and what it is not and
we also learned that we can define confidence as an action towards
competency because once we have
competency it will result in
confidence. I
ended that video by asking, so how do we go about it and my answer was
and it still is
by changing our mindset. In this video i'm going to talk about
mindset
specifically growth
mindset.
Growth mindset states that we can change our thoughts, our
intelligence, our
ability. We are not tied to them. We can change, make it better and
therefore we can also change our
confidence.
However
every one of us has this inner critic in us.
This little voice that tells us you're not good enough
Who do you think you are
You'll just fail so why try?
Stop trying!
This inner self is
actually a piece of what we call a fixed mindset
just, for fun i
call my inner self or I give my inner self a name and I call her Dottie
because i always tell her dot-dot-dot stop it.
It's easier for me to call her by name
so when she pops up and gives me all these negative thoughts I
usually say
Dottie
shut up!!
you, can call your inner critic any name you want just for fun
But second one that i'm going to suggest is to be aware not only of your
negative thoughts from whatever is going through your mind but also the triggers
what
situation
that
comes up
where in Dottie will pop up and say Hey
here I am you really think that you can do that?
Hmm you're wrong
You have another think coming or something like that. Usually these situations are when you're trying something new
or you're trying to change a habit or
Maybe to break a bad habit, as an example i used to fear
recording videos and
Dottie tells me you can never go and record videos
What are you going, to say? How are you going, to connect with those people behind the camera? And
at that time I believed Dottie.
You should see my first video!
If you won't believe that was me it was so terrible
But I was able to use my growth mindset and here i am
recording
videos.
Anyway as i was saying and I am digressing
Be aware of Dottie
or whatever name you give your inner critic and be aware of the triggers that
will make him or her
my Dottie and your Dottie
pops up and
make you feel that you're not good enough
So that
actually is the first step in developing growth mindset which is
awareness. On my next video or in my next video i'm going to talk about
The second step of
developing growth mindset and that is
perspective.
So until then
please like my post if you are on Facebook or
subscribe to my channel if you are on YouTube.
Until next time when i talk about
perspective.
I'll see you then good bye!

Most people assume that Sonic the Hedgehog made his home video game debut on June 23rd,
1991, when the game with his name in the title was released for the Sega Genesis.
Most people, however, are wrong.
Months before Sega's speedy blue mascot officially made his way to living rooms across America,
he made a cameo in an entirely different game.
As discovered by YouTuber Larry Bundy Jr., Sonic's first real foray into home entertainment
is a weird, unpolished, and borderline illegal project — and one that's been almost entirely
forgotten as the years have passed.
In the late '80s, Sega was in bad shape.
While the Genesis, known internationally as the Mega Drive, hit stores in 1988, two years
before Nintendo released its own 16-bit console, Sega lagged behind Nintendo in both sales
and reputation.
In Japan, the release of Super Mario Bros. 3 completely overshadowed the Genesis launch,
and Sega's current mascot, Alex Kidd, didn't resonate with audiences like Nintendo's portly
plumber.
Sega began searching for a new mascot to head up a franchise and help the company gain a
foothold in the market.
An internal Sega team known as AM8 started developing ideas, and one designer, Naoto
Ohshima, came up with a blue, fanged hedgehog that he called Mr. Needlemouse.
Unlike Mario, a middle-aged man who moved at a relatively languid pace, Mr. Needlemouse
was quick and cool.
He played guitar in a rock band.
He even had a human girlfriend named Madonna.
Most crucially, both Mr. Needlemouse and his game moved really, really fast.
Sega executives liked Mr. Needlemouse, but decided that he was a little too edgy, even
for the '90s.
A redesign ditched the fangs and the band to make him cuddlier and more appealing to
an all-ages audience, and gave him a new name, Sonic, to better reflected the character's
signature speed.
Meanwhile, development on Sonic's first solo title began.
Like Mario, Sonic leaped from platform to platform, collecting coins —or in this case,
rings — while fighting enemies and scoring power-ups.
Unlike Mario's Mushroom Kingdom, Sonic's world was full of curved surfaces and slopes, multi-tiered
pathways, and an unrelenting pace.
As development on Sonic the Hedgehog continued, developers quickly realized that they had
something special.
Sega of America's head of marketing, Al Nilsen, travelled the country, conducting demonstrations
that put Mario and Sonic head-to-head.
Roughly 80 percent of players who participated preferred Sonic.
Sonic stole the Consumer Electronics Show in 1991, while Sega made sure that Sonic graced
the covers of as many video game magazines as possible in the months leading up to release.
If you were into video games in '91, you couldn't escape Sonic.
He was everywhere.
A few months before Sonic the Hedgehog's big debut on the Genesis, the character made his
first video game appearance in Rad Mobile, a racing game produced by Sega's AM2 development
group.
It wasn't much more than a small cameo—a toy Sonic charm hanging from the mirror above
Rad Mobile's virtual dashboard — but as far as debuts go, it's not a bad one.
Like Sonic, Rad Mobile is all about speed.
But in 1991, Rad Mobile it was still an arcade-only release.
For home gaming, Sonic's first appearance didn't come from Sega at all, but a relatively
unknown developer called New Bits on the RAM.
These days, you probably know Factor 5 as the company that helped make Turrican a worldwide
success, or as the developer behind the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron flight simulators.
In the company's early days, however, it produced a number of games that shamelessly ripped
off more successful titles.
One of their first big games, Katakis, was such a blatant clone of Activision's R-Type
that Activision gave Factor 5 an ultimatum: if the company didn't develop R-Type's official
Amiga port, Activision would sue them into oblivion.
In the early 90s, Factor 5 established New Bits on the RAM, a subdivision devoted to
making small, quick games on a limited budget and tight timeline.
Unlike official Factor 5 releases, the New Bits games weren't sold at retail.
Instead, they were designed to be distributed in video game magazines.
Their first game, Quik and Silva, arrived with the June 1991 issue of Amiga Fun magazine,
which actually hit stands in May.
On the surface, it was a well-designed, low-budget platformer with eight stages and a toe-tapping
soundtrack.
Reviewers liked Quik and Silva quite a bit, praising the graphics and the "simple, wholesome
gameplay."
These days, though, it's far more notable for one of its enemies, who has blue hair,
spikes, and big, wide eyes.
That's right: one of Quik and Silva's main villains is Sonic the Hedgehog, who appeared
in the game more than a month before his official console debut.
It's not just Sonic who makes an unauthorized appearance in Quik and Silva.
Almost every enemy is borrowed from another title.
Bub, from Bubble Bobble, and Pogo, the hero of Nebulus, show up as well.
So does the ship from R-Type, and characters from Factor 5's own Turrican.
Even the new characters are borrowed from existing franchises: one enemy is just Super
Mario's head grafted onto a bouncing spring.
Fortunately for Sega, Sonic the Hedgehog quickly overshadowed Factor 5's knockoff.
When Sonic officially premiered in 1991, his game was an instant hit, sparking a franchise
that's spawned over 70 games and sold more than 85 million units, gathering insanely
dedicated fans along the way.
New Bits on the RAM and Factor 5 weren't quite as lucky.
The New Bits label only produced one other game, a platformer called Metal Law, before
disappearing.
Factor 5 became a legitimate game developer, but its success didn't last.
In 2007, their PlayStation 3 exclusive Lair was panned by critics, thanks to a control
scheme so awkward that they sent out a guide after release telling reviewers how to play
the game.
In 2009, Factor 5's American branch closed, and former employees subsequently filed a
lawsuit, accusing the company of cooking the books in order to avoid paying wages.
Still, there's some hope: in 2017, Factor 5 co-founder Julian Eggebrecht revealed that
he'd reacquired the rights to Turrican, and hinted that a Switch version might be on the
way.
It's been a while, but Factor 5 might be poised for a big return — let's just hope that
they don't need Sonic's help to do it.
Sega probably won't be as forgiving the second time.

Apple TV 2/3/4 HowTo Watch M3U Autoplay MKV/AVI Video Links. Unlimited Shows W/ IOS App & PC NAS - Duration: 5:40.Hi Guys,
Today I'm going to show how YOU can easily watch playlists of remote MKV Movie and TV
Show links in M3U files from sites like FluxusTV or Pastebin.com on your Apple TV.
Apple TV 4 has the PlayerXtreme App natively but the Airplay IOS version has autoplay.
Allowing you to sit back and watch every episode of your favorite TV Show as well as being
able to easily select any episode.
Here is a M3U file with different MKV links of different Shows.
As
you can see I'm able to watch these MKV M3U links on my Apple TV.
This setup requires a PC NAS drive and the PlayerXtreme IOS App.
If you are also interested in knowing how to Stream your PC's desktop with Audio and
Video to your Apple TV using ANY version of Windows then subscribe to be notified when
I post.
So let's get started.
First you will need a local M3U file with video links Only.
I will be posting a future video on how to retrieve links and create your own custom
M3U playlist files from TV and Movie sites.
In this m3u file I have FLV, AVI and MKV video links.
In order to cast the videos contained in this M3U file each individual video must be copied
to a m3u8 file to be accessible by the PlayerXtreme App.
I've create a YT_XPLAY_M3U8 utility to do this.
There will be a link to this utility in the description box below.
You will need to unzip and place it into a NAS folder accessible by the PlayerXtreme
App.
Here are the Utility's M3U File requirements:
1)You MUST delete the M3U header row which is #EXTM3U
2)Scan through the M3U file and remove any blank rows
3)The M3U file should only contain video links.
No ts links or m3u8 links etc.
4)Each video should ONLY have two rows.
The header #EXTINF row and the actual link row
5)The #EXTINF row should end with the video's title name after a double quote then a comma
because the tool scans the file and picks up that information
6)Prior to the video's title name as mentioned there must be a double quote then a comma
AND nothing other than the video title's alphanumeric characters meaning you cannot have special
character like a greater than or less than sign, brackets etc. as part of a video title
name.
If you do have special characters you will need to do a search and replace to set the
special characters to either Null or a blank space
Now you need to copy and paste your revised M3U file into the M3U_Input.m3u file.
Before you can run the tool you will need to do a one time update in the Run_CC_Out_M3U8.bat
file and update it with the current folder the Run_CC_Out_M3U8.bat file will be running
from in the CurrDir variable once again the CurrDir variable which stands for current
directory and save the change.
Next run the Run_CC_Out_M3U8.bat file from the YT_XPLAY_M3U8 folder.
The generated M3U8 files will be located in the YT_XPLAY_M3U8\M3U8_OUT folder.
Finally you just need to navigate to that NAS folder from the PlayerXtreme IOS App and
select from those M3U8 files.
In this demo I'm streaming an AVI, FLV and MKV video to my Apple TV and as mentioned
this is an autoplay M3U playlist.
FYI.
This utility will delete the previously generated M3U8 files during its next run.
If you want to keep your m3u8 files for future use you should copy them to a different NAS
folder.
All right. Well, I thought I'd make another short video to help everyone remember what our rules are at Dixie Sun.
So first off, what are the rules at Dixie Sun?
Second Grade?
At Dixie Sun we are... Responsible and Respectful.
We will be... Resourceful and Safe.
Dixie Sun is... United!
So, I want to talk a little bit about responsibility.
Responsibility
Responsibility
Today, I'm gonna talk about four ways that you can be responsible at school.
Uno!
Being to school on time is a big responsibility
We want you here. We want you in class. Be on time.
We start school at 8 o'clock a.m.
8 o'clock
Not 8:05. Tell your parents 8 o'clock.
8 o'clock
Everything we do at school has a purpose for you to learn.
Let's learn!
Be in the right place at the right time.
Right Place, Right Time!
Right Place, Right Time! What does that mean?
Gorgonzola
Gorgonzola
Right Place, Right Time!
So, if you're moving to another classroom?
Right Place, Right Time!
Lining up to go to specials?
Right Place, Right Time!
What about lining up in between specials?
Right Place, Right Time!
Going in between classes?
Right Place, Right Time!
Well, here's another one. What about what it's time to go to lunch?
Right Place, Right Time!
Get to the right table.
Eat your lunch, then go to recess.
We don't eat outside.
So that's number one. Right place, right time. Be there.
Be there.
Número dos
Next, we all need to keep our school clean.
That is our responsibility.
That means put the trash in the trash can
Put it in the trash can.
Trash in the trash can
Put it in the trash can
Put in the trash can.
We have these brand-new trash cans. It's pretty cool.
Use them!
Keep the school clean!
When you have snacks after school?
Get the cartons!
Get the stuff! Eat the food!
Get the wrappers and the cartons in the trash can.
Don't drop trash anywhere except in the
Trash can!
Trash Can. Do It!
You need to have pride in your school
Keep the school clean!
We love our school. We don't want a dirty school.
it's like having a dirty bedroom.
You walk in. You trip on things.
Keep it clean!
Número tres
Why are we here at school? To learn. Exactly.
It's your responsibility to learn
Think of it this way. I've got a job.
Your teacher has a job.
Parents have jobs.
You have a job.
Right now it's your responsibility to learn, not just you, but everyone.
The main part of learning is getting your work done in class on time.
Right time.
You're gonna learn. You're going to use all this knowledge from your brain.
We grow our brains in school by listening to your teacher and doing your work.
Your brain is gonna grow
and grow
and grow
and grow
and grow.
It's gonna grow.
Grow your brain!
Learning grows your brain
Número cuatro
The last piece of responsibility I want to talk about is being safe.
Safety is a responsibility for all of us.
It keeps everybody happy.
It keeps everybody going.
It keeps everybody safe.
So we're gonna play a game. I like to call it
Si o No
Si o No
When I want you to show me Si, I don't want you to yell out.
I want you to do this.
That means Si.
This means No.
Just open your hand.
Si
No
Si o No.
I'm gonna show you some pictures. I want you to tell me, Si o No.
Is it yes. We should be doing this?
No, we should not be doing this.
Si o No.
Here's the first one.
Are we allowed to play in the ditch? Si o No?
Don't do it. No, no, no. Not responsible. Not safe.
Can you swing on the swings? Si o No?
Si.
Can you swing on the baby swings? Si o No?
No, No, Never, Never, Uh, Uh, Uh!
Are you allowed to slide down the slide? Si o No?
Si.
Very responsible.
Are you allowed to walk up these slides? Si o No?
No
Are you allowed to have more than one go down the slide at a time? Si o No?
No, no, never, never, uh, uh, uh!
Are you allowed to walk up these slides? Si o No?
No, no, never, never, uh, uh, uh, uh!
Are you allowed to have fun on the big toys? Si o No?
Si.
Are you allowed to go down the slide one at a time? Si o No?
Si.
Are you allowed to play tag at recess or lunch recess? Si o No?
Everybody say this with me
No, no, never, never, uh, uh, uh.
Are you allowed to take turns getting your lunch?
Si.
Are you allowed to take food from others or share your food with others in the lunchroom? Si o No?
No.
Everyone walking down the hall with their arms folded in a nice line. Is this right? Si o No?
Si.
Playing during recess? Having fun? Si o No?
Si.
Lining up? Ready to go to lunch? Arms folded? Si o No?
Si.
Walking on the concrete? Si o No?
Si.
Eating lunch, enjoying your company, not being too loud? Si o No?
Oh yeah!
Leaving trash at your table when you're finished with your lunch? Si o No?
No, no, never, never, uh, uh, uh.
Playing soccer? Enjoying your time with your friends? Playing by the rules? Si o No?
Do i!t Have fun! Do it! Si!
Pushing, kicking, tripping? Not playing by the rules?
Making up your own rules? Si o No?
No, no, no, never, never, uh, uh, uh!
Running on the concrete? Si o No?
No, no, no, never, never, uh, uh!
Throwing your garbage away without letting it splash or fall out of the garbage can? Si o No?
Si.
It's getting warm.
So you need to follow the rules and help keep everyone safe and happy.
So let's recap a little bit. You ready?
Número uno
Right place right time
Número dos
Keep the school clean
Número tres
Grow your brain
Brain!
Número cuatro
Keep everyone safe
Un minuto
All right, I have one more responsibility
that I need to talk to you about.
You have a responsibility, as being a human being,
to be nice.
Be kind.
Don't make fun of other students.
If you see somebody that's in trouble help them.
Do something nice every single day.
Mind Explosion!
Compliment people. Be nice.
Si o No?
Si!
Be nice.
All right, so let's see if we remember the cheer.
Um
All of you.
If you're brand new listen to this memorize it.
Learn it.
Know it. Become it.
Dixie Sun is responsible and respectful.
We will be resourceful and safe
Dixie Sun is United!
Exactly.
We are united.
If we're being responsible,
if we're being safe,
if we were helping others,
United is what we will be.
We are Dixie Sun.
We are Dixie Sun!
Dixie Sun, United.
United, Dixie Sun.
It sounds the same to me.
Si o No?
It really doesn't sound the same does it, but it means the same, right?
Have a good day.
Si o No?
Si!
[Music Playing]
[Music Playing]
My favorite thing about Dixie Sun is that we talk Spanish and English.
Friends and dual immersion.
[Music Playing]
My favorite thing at Dixie Sun Elementary is that I have lots of friends.
Learning in school.
Recess because you get to play.
You get to do centers.
My favorite thing is about whenever we get to go to clubs and all that.
Algo que me gusta de Dixie Sun es aprender.
Were United.
Me gusta Dixie Sun porque las maestras son cool.
Math and you concentrate.
Aqui en Dixie Sun me gusta porque podemos tener clase de ciencia.
[Students yelling]
Me gusta Dixie Sun porque podemos hacer los examenes.
How there's like two languages.
Me gustan los maestros.
Algo que te gusta de Dixie Sun es que puede aprender espanol.
A mi me gusta Dixie Sun porque podemos aprender muchas cosas.

Dallas GPA Admissions: Video 1 - Duration: 7:46.I am going to give you a quiz
If you are going to come to the Global Proclamation Academy
You better be ready
For the questions that are going to consume you
My opening greeting anymore with
Christian audiences all over the world
comes from the land of Pakistan
Where a man in the majority culture dress came to me and said:
"Greetings to you in the Name of the Most High One!"
and as I waited
For who might be the Most High One
he finished it out and said:
"THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!"
So that's going to be the first question when you come to the
Global Proclamation Academy
and we cannot wait for you to come
Now why have you been chosen
to attend the GPA?
Well, you have gone through the admissions process
we have had many many applications
That we could not accept
But you fit the criteria
Of the people into whom we want to invest
both for your current enrichment
but also for the future impact
of our faith
which gives life and hope
and peace
to large numbers of individuals worldwide
If you are healthy, your congregation will be healthier
and as a result it will spill over into your communities
I look forward to seeing you
very very soon
Here is our admissions team with important information
for your consideration and response.
Greetings Pastors, my name is Brother Will!
Hi Pastors, I am Sister Jordan!
You have heard from both of us
in the form of either an email
or a phone call in recent weeks
Right now, we would like to tell you
more about the rest of the admissions process
from here until you arrive in Dallas
for this year's Dallas GPA
Every month we will release a video
that will detail the information we need from you
before you board your flight to Dallas
In future months,
this will include instructions on how we will work with you
on purchasing your flight
packing instructions and much more
We will also highlight what you will be doing
here at the Dallas GPA
in hopes to better prepare you for this great endeavor
We will now explain the admissions process
If you are viewing this video,
you have been accepted to the Dallas GPA
Here are the steps that need to be completed before you arrive in Dallas
First, if you do not have one already
You will need to obtain both a current passport
and a current visa
Make sure your passport is valid
until December 31st of this year
For the detailed visa process
we have our visa coach ready to assist you
Please follow her instructions carefully
and make an appointment for your interview right away
it is critical to start on the visa process immediately
Embassies, as you may know
operate on their own time schedule
also keep in mind we do not purchase any flights
until a visa has been obtained
If you wait too long to apply for your visa
then you may end up paying more
for your half of the round-trip airfare cost
Do not delay in getting your visa
Okay, the second step
is to complete the Canditate Information Form
You will receive this form via email
and it is also available for you to download
on the RREACH website
This form will better help us prepare for
your arrival to Dallas
This information is necessary and crucial
Please do not delay in returning this form
We will then work with you to purchase
your flight to Dallas
We will go over this in more detail in next month's video
The fourth item
is to begin working on two assignments
for your time here in Dallas
One, is your personal testimony
and another, is a ten-minute presentation of your ministry
These assignments will be discussed in the video
released in March
Finally, we will discuss the logistics of your travel to Dallas
and more details about your time spent here
If you already have both a current visa
and a current passport
the next step is for you to complete the Candidate Information Form
We would like to have this form completed in its entirety
before we purchase your flight to Dallas
While you are completing this form,
if you have any questions,
please do not hesitate to contact us
Now, let's go through this form section-by-section
Section one is basic general information that we need from you
Even though some of the information is already given to us
when you completed your application
We would like to have a confirmation
just to make sure we have your name spelled correctly and we address you properly
In order for us to have the correct t-shirt size,
we ask that you measure your chest and send us your measurement in centimeters
Please do not send us your t-shirt size in general terms like "small" or "extra-large"
These types of sizes are not the same in every country
and could lead to you having a shirt that doesn't fit
Also, please send us your family photo
and indicate who is in the photo
If you have children, please include their names
Section two asks information about the 10 pastors in your network
In order to be accepted to the Dallas GPA,
you indicated you knew ten pastors in your network
Please send us the names, the countries that they serve in,
their emails, their ministry names,
and the description of their ministries
We use this information to make sure that you are well connected
with other pastors in your area
and to assist us
in reaching out to other pastors for other pastoral training events
in the future
We do not give this information, or yours, to anyone else without prior consent
Section three is about your electronic devices
Almost every pastor will be bringing some type of electronic device with him
Whether it be a computer,
a phone or a tablet,
Please mark down which device you will be bringing with you
as well as what type of device
Section four is about our policy and procedures agreement
Please read through these agreements
and sign that you agree with them
Please note that we hold a strict travel policy
If you obtain a visa that we wrote an invitation letter for,
the only travel you are allowed
is to travel directly from your country to Dallas, Texas
and then back to your home country
We will discuss this in more detail
when we talk about your flight purchase
in next month's video
Section five is about your medical information
We need your emergency contact information
as well as a copy of your most recent tuberculosis test
showing a result that you do not have tuberculosis
If you had the test done in the last twelve months
You can just send us a copy of those results
Section six is a simple biographical questionnaire
We need this information for different printed materials
Some of these questions have a strict word count
We need you to follow this exactly
Otherwise, we will be forced to delete some of the information
you provided in order for it to all fit on our printed materials
Once you have all the information in each section completed,
Please submit the entire form,
your family photo,
and your tuberculosis test results to us right away
We hope this video will help you
as we are all anticipating your arrival to Dallas
If you have any questions
Please feel free to send us a message
Our team is praying for you
As you prepare for this life-changing time in Dallas
We look forward to seeing you!
Youtubers, i've made a mistake
A few few, days, ago about a week, ago
what's up youtubers this is editing ah poster in
editing J-Sav
About right here i said i wasn't gonna put in the about a week ago meme i'm gonna do it anyway
an old about seven, days, ago i made
Five random uh steam keys on g2 am sure a lot of you, guys know. Gta and
I went with, my videos doing, uh
Crap, that's that's out that's out, that's how, it's doing
thank, god i'd done anything saw it
But it's just it's just a. Video just me going, buying the key for way too much money just
a load
Let's go just show, what the games i got were?
Explicitly games a little bit as what was and?
so i got when i click on it and
One of the next videos i'll play is why is gta killing the industry so i go i shouldn't know, why?
So you go over in i watch little video great video don't
Don't. Ask, why, i watch all this it's interesting, okay?
Yes so basically he sits there and he talks, about, why it's bad my favorite a really iterate all the points he makes
But basically it's a way for criminals to
launder money
take, dirty, money turn it into clean untraceable money i
Was thrown. Credit cards or stuff like that's very easy and it hurts game devs a lot, and
He has examples from where game devs actually put like, their game on pirates bay
Because they're so desperate because it costs it game devs money
Cuz, they, had to give the money back there's, also transaction, fee i guess
So when they have to the money back knowing they're, not making a sale and they're not making money
They're, losing money and to small indie developers that can really make or break you know. You're at
Your, bottom line and make companies go to business
so it's literally killing the industry and
Also, they're, using stolen credit cards a lot of times i'm actually looked it up a little bit more i don't have
Those sources up here for cuz, i didn't prepare that much for the video of course it didn't do a job on me cuz
That's well as, well i?
Got stuck, my hobby is making a lot of money
Buying stolen credit cards and then buying games off like humble bundle and then resell them for cheap cheap
and
Yes if we killed through las tres with their stolen credit card, you're hurting the game industry it's just
Just because you, want to deal and it's just you support, from like, humble, bundle that you know, gives the charity or not
But um i don't think people don't know. About this and that's, why, this video is actually really good news mean?
Pretty recently, bullet parry, hey
Made pretty recently and this is a good video i'm gonna, link it in the bottom of my old video
My, take, away the gta g - a link from, my old video and replace it with the video of home
His video here
I'm not sure if they should take, down the video or not i'll think
About that if i am dunking, put this video up, maybe i'll hide the video or something
but i
Feel, bad because i didn't i didn't know, that it was bad like this i just i don't know how i got the keys
But i still a parliament pope really but
Maybe some of the keys on gta are just bought in bulk
But i guess the ones that seem too good to be true are too good to be true and watch this guy's video he
Explained it way better than i did?
Only 21,000 views you shed a lot more i wish i could say i wish i get that many views
That buddy, views but damn
but um either way, this guy great quality video a lot of good points, welcome, well
and
just good to know i guess
i'm sorry
Let me know if i should, still, make the video of reviewing the games i bought because they, did spend the money on the games
I'm not gonna maybe i won't say they're from z to a or in the video they, don't support gta
And then i'll review, or something i'll think about it but i'm a. Little rambling video not really any special
But anyway mail of follow-ups on your heart, me start switch review. Number
To, dream believe in strength, now i'm the only

Official AIE 2015 Video - Duration: 3:33.[MUSIC PLAYING]
The conference has a lot of great, unique aspects
to this year's theme with Ignite, Drive, and Excel.
Hearing from Liz Dozier earlier this morning
was really an important reminder that it's
about those small steps that you can take.
So these are the four critical steps--
having your plan, your vision, together;
guarding your own thoughts and those that you surround
yourself with; ensuring that you've
got the right team on the bus and that you're taking action
with that team.
That's what allows you to ignite, drive,
and ultimately accelerate the work in education.
What we were able to do this year
was really accommodate more of that smaller
group, one-on-one attention through providing
a lot of different times and avenues
for groups to get together.
Getting a chance to see other professional service
providers, other teachers.
Having a chance to talk with principals,
TEA in a way that they can have their questions answered.
And it's not often that as administrators we
get together and talk with other administrators
about new ideas and things that work.
So it's nice to be together with other like-minded people.
And it's often something that we don't take the time to do.
We're in such a hurry to do this and do that and take
this initiative and that kids needs this.
But if we don't work on connecting with each other,
we're missing out on a huge resource-- the human resource.
This year we pack more in AIE than ever.
We have quick, lightning round demo sessions.
Behind me we have the Statewide Connections Lounge.
People are networking.
In the exhibit hall we have a mobile planetarium
giving tours.
We're also trending on Twitter in Austin, Dallas, and Houston.
We have 3D printers outside of maker space.
We have just blown up this year.
I'm so excited to be here.
I've come all the way from Ghana.
Flying 18 hours and I don't feel so tired here.
Opening with the Fox Tech High School mariachi band,
looking at each one of those high school students so
polished, professional.
It really gives you that sense of purpose and why you're here.
That's the great thing about this.
I've been coming for five years and there's always
something new and exciting.
Probably what I like about it most
is that I can choose from critical success factors
and choose the sessions that are going to best fit
my needs at any given time.
For our campus, parental involvement
and student engagement are our challenges,
so those are the critical success factors
that we're working on and I'm going to sessions
at the conference that are going to help me with those areas.
Learned a lot, got to collaborate
with other great leaders.
And so I'm excited.
I want educators when they leave this conference
to feel inspired that their work matters.
I think we've just got to keep pushing and looking at ways
for continuous improvement.
And AIE's a great way to do it.

Gold Manipulation: Fact or Fiction? | Real Vision Video - Duration: 4:47.Because of its fascination for mankind, gold has always been surrounded by conspiracy theories
and stories of price suppression and manipulation.
That's really no surprise.
After all, wherever you find money, you inevitably find human beings trying
to cheat in some way or another.
Fake gold bars have frequently surfaced over the years, with gold-plated tungsten, which
has an identical density to gold, being the most common substitute.
Fortunately, any one of a number of very simple tests
will provide a conclusive answer as to whether a particular bar is fake or not.
Gold is unique.
However, the most important questions about possible manipulation of the gold price concern
much broader issues and occur at a much higher
level.
Well, look, the question about manipulation is clearly a favored one, people
like to discuss this.
I do think that even a cursory glance at historical fact will lead you in fairly clear
direction.
I mean, it's not like this is a hidden thing.
I mean, the London Gold Pool existed, it was an overt
way of managing the gold price in terms of its price.
It's clearly in the interest of central bank to manage,
particularly in the monetary system as it functions right now-- whether it does function
not being a slightly separate point-- it's clearly in their interest
to manage the risk-free rates.
Would you influence the gold price?
Well, it's said that gold is the reciprocal trust of
central banks, you betcha it would achieve the gold price, notwithstanding the fact that
central banks are the biggest holders of gold-- 60% of their
reserves are in gold, would you want to suppress it?
You betcha.
The problem's too big.
Are they doing it?
I don't know is the answer, but money-- there's always
a raising certainty, they probably are.
Others, however, are far more confident, not only as to the question of whether the gold
price is manipulated, but also who the culprits might
be.
Well, the gold price is absolutely manipulated.
When I say that, I'm not, you know, implying some
deep, dark conspiracy.
I don't think Janet Yellen wakes up in the morning and thinks about gold-- I don't
think Janet Yellen knows anything about gold to be honest with you.
She's sort of a geeky liberal labor economist who worships the Phillips curve,
so I don't think Janet Yellen is behind some conspiracy to
suppress the price of gold.
But there's absolutely manipulation.
I've spoken to several experts.
One is a PhD statistician, so it's not a PhD in economics, it's a PhD in statistics.
Works for one of the largest hedge funds in the world.
He looked at a 10-year time series and he took--
like literately tick-by-tick information on the COMEX gold
futures for 10 years, and he said there is no explanation for this data other than manipulation,
it could not possibly have happened through normal
market forces.
In particular, he knows that at the end of the
day, like on the last trading tick on the COMEX, the price of gold got smacked down.
And then at the open the next day, it could kind of pop up
again.
So he said, well, this is the easiest trade in the world, just buy gold right after the
close and sell it the next morning just before the open, and you know,
just make consistent, steady profits.
Well, anyone knows anything about markets and how they operate
knows that you cannot make consistent, steady profit.
This is what Bernie Madoff said he was doing, right?
So he said the probability that the price naturally goes
down at the close and naturally goes up the next morning is like zero after 10 years.
And this is not inference, I mean, this is like DNA.
Like, you know, you may not see the crime being
committed, but if you have the DNA evidence, you can be pretty sure who did it.
Governments everywhere throughout history have wanted to manage-- it's a critical national
securitywhether you go back to the time of the Romans, et
cetera, value of a currency is very, very important to
manage, particularly if you're a government that hasn't managed your finances all that
well.
And unfortunately, that is over time, most governments
sooner or later find themselves in that position.
And so the manipulation is right there in the open in that it is a creation of a derivative
market that satisfies demand that would otherwise go into
physical, and that was the goal of setting that up and that's
not well understood I don't think by many market participants, but as I said, it's there
in black and white in kind of the historical archives.

Spacetime Diagrams | Special Relativity Ch. 2 - Duration: 14:31.Physics is all about the motion of things – how planets and stars move, how electrons
and protons move, how the movement of molecules results in emergent properties like temperature,
and so on.
The role of relativity, in physics, is to study how that motion looks from different
perspectives.
Here I'm using "relativity" in a general sense, to mean from any different possible
perspective, moving, accelerating, or otherwise; special relativity in particular is concerned
with how motion looks just from a limited, or "special," set of perspectives.
But either way, relativity (special or not) is about how the motions of things look from
different perspectives.
Like, if you were looking at the earth and the moon, depending on where you were and
how you were moving, it might look like the moon is moving around the earth in a giant
circle, or back and forth on a straight line, or that the earth and moon together are tracing
out a spiralling path through space.
But if the motion of the earth and moon can be described in such different ways, what
does any one of these descriptions actually tell us about the earth and moon?
Is one of them "right" and the others "wrong"?
Is there some preferred perspective for observing the earth and moon that gets closer to the
true description of what's happening?
It's the goal of relativity to answer these kinds of questions.
In fact, relativity can essentially be summed up as two basic ideas:
1.
To figure out how objects and their motion look from different perspectives, and
2.
To notice which properties of objects and motion don't look different from different
perspectives.
We've already given an example of number 1, with different ways the motion of the earth
and moon can look from different perspectives.
Number 2, the idea of finding things that don't look different from these perspectives
– that's a little trickier.
In the earth and moon case, for example, all three perspectives appear quite different.
But after a while, you might notice that regardless of the perspective, the maximum physical distance
between the earth and the moon appears to be the same.
So you might say "aha!
There's something that's independent of perspective!
Maybe it's a fundamental property of the earth-moon system, and not just an artifact of my particular
point of view!"
And this is why relativity is so important in physics: by studying what changes and what
doesn't about a physical system when you change your perspective, you are zeroing in on universal
truths – literally.
Facts that remain true from many perspectives throughout the universe (like, perhaps that
the distance between the earth and the moon is 384399 kilometers), are literally more
universal than a fact that only holds true at a single place and time (like, that the
angle between the moon and earth is 150 degrees).
Relativity is a way of thinking that helps you to evaluate how universal a given truth
is.
Ok, enough philosophizing.
To make all this tangible, we need a rigorous way of describing moving things and of describing
changes to how that motion looks when you change your perspective.
We're ultimately going to build up to special relativity, which has to do with motion over
time, but we'll start with non-moving things just to get a sense of how intuitive relativity
can be.
You're probably familiar with specifying the position of a cat on a plane using xy coordinates:
this cat is three tick marks to the right of our point of reference, and two tick marks
up, so we say it's at position x=3 and y=2, which typically gets written as just a pair
of numbers like (3,2).
However, (3,2) is not a universal truth – I mean, it's just based on where I'm standing,
and how I'm oriented.
But over here, where you are, maybe you're rotated by 30 degrees, and you made the tick
marks closer together, and suddenly the cat is at a different position: x=9, y=9.
Even though the cat hasn't moved.
In fact, it's possible to specify the cat's position using any x and y values we want,
depending on our point of reference: which corresponds mathematically to where we put
our axes and how we orient and scale them.
So clearly, specifying the position of something is not a universal truth.
Or, in relativity parlance, "position is relative."
A more universal, or absolute, truth can be found if you have two cats: let's say they're
at x=0, y=0, and x=5, y=0.
And I'm going to stop drawing a person at the origin point of the axes from now on,
but you should remember that the axes we use represent a particular perspective and orientation
from which we measure things.
Ok, so The distance between these two cats is clearly 5 – they're at the same y value
and their x values differ by 5.
If we move and rotate our point of reference now, the cats are at positions... uh, x=1,
y=1 and x=5, y=4.
So they differ by 4 in the new x direction and 3 in the new y direction.
But the overall distance between the cats, which we can find using the pythagorean theorem,
is the square root of 4 squared plus 3 squared, which is the square root of 25 which is 5.
Which is the same distance we calculated with the original axes!
This turns out to be a general truth: on a plane, the distance between two things doesn't
change if you change your perspective just by shifting your point of reference or your
orientation.
I like to think about this as similar to how if I take a piece of paper, and slide it around
and rotate it, I haven't actually changed anything on the piece of paper.
Or, in relativity parlance, "distances are absolute."
The geometric intuition for this is that you can move your axes around, slide them up and
down, and rigidly rotate them, without affecting your description of the distance between two
things.
If you like, we can make this mathematically precise by calling the original coordinates
x and y, and the new coordinates x new and y new; then when we've slid the x axis an
amount Delta x (technically called a "translation by Delta x"), we say that x new=x-Delta
x, and when we slide the y axis by an amount Delta y (technically called a "translation
by Delta y") we say that y new=y-Delta y.
The minus sign is there because if you slide your origin point closer to something, its
new x and y coordinates will be smaller.
Changes of orientation are a little fancier, but it's really just some geometry: if you
re-orient the x and y axes counterclockwise by an angle theta, the new coordinates look
like x new=x times cos theta minus y times sin theta and y new = y times cos theta plus
x times sin theta.
If you want a fun algebra exercise, you can use these equations (or even their 3D counterparts!)
to check that indeed that the distance between two points doesn't change when you slide or
rotate your axes.
But the messiness of all the details here really clouds the simplicity of what's going
on.
The important geometric idea I want you to remember is that rotating and sliding axes
doesn't change the distance between two points.
However, the distance between two points does change if we're allowed to change the spacing
of the tick marks!
If when we change our axes we also double the tick marks, then the distance between
the cats becomes 10, not 5.
Turns out distance, measured in numbers, is not so universal...
But there is a more universal truth!
Suppose we have a stick that's 1 tick mark long (according to the original axes) – conventionally
this thing might be called a "meter" stick; and now we can say "the two cats are 5 sticks
apart."
When we again move and rotate our axes and change the spacing of the tick marks, the
cats are again 10 tick marks apart, but the stick is also now 2 tick marks long, so the
distance between the cats is still 10/2, or 5 sticks.
This is an example of an even more general physical truth: the distance between two things,
measured in terms of another physical thing, doesn't change when you change your perspective
by shifting your point of reference or orientation or the spacing of your tick marks.
In relativity parlance, we'd say that "the ratio of two distances is absolute."
Basically, if you want to actually describe a distance, you can't just specify a number,
like, I'm five away from you – you have to say what you're measuring distance in terms
of, and what number of those things your distance is equal to.
This is kind of a subtle point and is very important if you're interested in metrology,
the study of measurement and units.
But because it doesn't really play a major role in special relativity, from now on I'm
going to be a bit sloppy and just assume that whenever we're talking about distances, we're
talking about distances not as numbers but in terms of some reference distance, like
meters, or cats, or whatever.
And the same will apply to times: when we talk about a time interval, we'll assume it's
a time interval in terms of some reference time, like the second (which is based off
of how long it takes a certain electromagnetic wave to vibrate once).
Which brings us to the motion of objects over time!
To describe a moving object, it's customary to use a horizontal coordinate axis for the
left-right x position, but instead of using the vertical axis to represent height y, we
use it to represent time t.
So for something not moving, something that stays at the same position x at time t=0,
t=1, t=2, and so on, we draw a straight vertical line through x.
For something moving one meter per second to the right, we draw a line that goes one
meter to the right for every second that transpires vertically.
It's important to note that we're not saying that the object is moving through 2D space
along a 45 degree line – the object is moving purely 1-dimensionally along the x axis, and
we're just showing those different one-dimensional positions as time passes.
This whole "time on the vertical axis" thing can also be a bit weird at first since
in most other situations you've probably encountered time plotted on a horizontal axis; but vertical
time has its merits and it's convention at this point, so it's worth getting used to.
I like to think of each horizontal line as representing a different snapshot of a scene.
We could show the snapshots one after another as time actually passes, of course, but it's
useful to be able to see all of the snapshots at once, so if we display each snapshot at
a consecutive vertical position, we get a nice representation in a single static image
of motion that normally takes place over time.
This geometric way of representing motion over time is called a "space-time" diagram,
and it's so central to intuitively understanding relativity that it's worth doing a few more
examples.
Though if you feel comfortable with space-time diagrams, world-lines, and so on, by all means,
skip ahead.
Say we have a cat attached to a spring, bouncing back and forth, left and right.
If we plot this motion on a spacetime diagram, as time passes we see the cat move left and
right, leaving behind a trace in the shape of a sine wave.
On the other hand, if we're given a spacetime diagram and want to recover the motion of
the cat, we simply slide the diagram downwards at a constant rate and move the cat left and
right so that it follows along the traced-out path.
This is important: a traced-out path in a spacetime diagram is a faithful recording
of an object's motion.
And these paths are called "world-lines," presumably because they show where in the
world the object has gone (though by "world" we often mean "solar system" or "universe").
Any particular point on a worldline has coordinates t and x, which we write as a pair telling
us for time t what position x the object was located.
So far we've just been representing one-dimensional motion on our spacetime diagrams – just
one spatial direction the object is moving in, and then time as the vertical axis.
If we want to use a spacetime diagram to represent motion in two dimensions, like the moon orbiting
the earth, we actually need three dimensions to do so: the two horizontal directions for
the moon and earth to move in, and the vertical direction to trace out the snapshots as time
passes.
Pretty cool, huh!
But if you have multiple particles moving complicatedly, this can get really messy on
a 2D screen.
And it's physically impossible to make a full spacetime diagram for three dimensional motion,
because you would need four spatial dimensions to do so: three horizontal directions for
the spatial motion, and a vertical direction for time.
Which of course is impossible in our universe with its measly three spatial dimensions.
So physicists normally restrict their spacetime diagrams to just one or two spatial dimensions,
and time going vertically.
So, how does relativity work with spacetime diagrams?
That is, now that we know how to describe motion geometrically, how do changes in perspective
affect that description?
Let's take as an example me staying put right at x=0, and a cat moving one meter per second
to the right away from me, starting at time t=0.
It may not surprise you to notice that when you slide the x axis to the left or right,
the particular x positions of me and the cat at any particular time change, but the distance
between us doesn't.
At time t=0 we're still 0 meters apart, at time t=2 we're 2 meters apart, and so on.
So you can slide the x axis back and forth however you like.
Similarly, if you slide the time axis up and down, the absolute time when the cat starts
moving away from me changes, but time intervals don't change: the cat still takes 2 seconds
to get 2 meters away from me.
So you can slide the t axis up and down, and distances in time are left unchanged.
And if we have 2-dimensional motion, then changes in the orientation of the two spatial
axes don't change the distances between objects at any particular time: essentially, you can
re-orient the xy axes however you like.
So the relativity we applied to purely spatial diagrams applies pretty well to space-time
diagrams, too.
To summarize the major takeaways: relativity is about understanding how changes in perspective
do or don't affect motion.
For objects in space, we can describe motion over time geometrically using spacetime diagrams,
and spacetime diagrams can help us see how changes of perspective affect how the motion
of objects looks.
Like how changing your position and orientation correspond to sliding the axes around and
rigidly changing the orientation of the spatial axes, and yet these transformations don't
change the spatial distance between two points at the same time or the temporal distance
between two points at the same location in space.
However, all of this relativity is static: and by that I mean that we haven't yet talked
about how motion looks from a perspective that is itself moving.
That's ultimately the key to special relativity, and will be the subject of the next video.
If you'd like to play around with some spacetime diagrams yourself, I highly recommend checking
out the "propagation of light" interactive quiz on Brilliant.org, this video's sponsor.
This quiz is seriously cool – it uses spacetime diagrams to guide you through how astronomer
Ole Rømer deduced that the speed of light must be finite just by observing the orbit
of Jupiter's moon Io.
It's a super clever idea, and the quiz does a great job of using spacetime diagrams to
help visualize the situation and guide you through calculating the speed of light yourself.
In fact, this quiz is part of a whole course on Special Relativity that Brilliant has available
at brilliant.org/MinutePhysicsSpecialRelativity, and doing problems like theirs after watching
videos like mine is a great way to practice and really internalize the ideas of special
relativity.
