and today we will see where to by the drone
in India and what are the laws applied
to use the drone in India
so let's get in
as per rules the DGCA
director-general of civil aviation has
banned use of drones in India on August
2014 so they named the drone as UAS
unmanned aerial system which means
considering the threat security issues
they banned the usage of drone for
normal civil public people in India so
they didn't allow any drone companies to
come and establish and sell their own
drones in India at August 2016
they give a draft policy placed in the
know in their website the public gives
some opinion about the usage of drones
but it is still and until this minute
you watch this video
it still banned you cannot use the drone
in India as per rules it is banned so
what they did they go a step further so
they cannot buy the drones in India so
what the people do is they buy the
drones from the foreign countries and
bring inside once the people once the
DGCA came to know that this they use the
customs to stop bringing the drones into
India from any foreign countries so
legally if you're going to buy a foreign
and then you get a DJI drone or any
companies drone and you fly back and
once you go through the customs when
they check it they use the scanner and
they check it and they find out there is
a drone they will confiscate it
just keep it or destroy it in front of
you they never allowed to bring inside
the inside from the airport so what are
the things to do so how do we do it how
we make it so these are the little tips
you guys must know if you landed in the
middle of the night maybe that time the
customs checking is less that's how we
made it and once you bring inside the
drone they don't have any rules to
confesicate it from them because it's
already inside and it's with you legally
you cannot
I use the drone India will use the
drone in India right now
As u can see in the movies they they just
go to the DJ I see a website or to the
main place and they get the permission
to use for the film or the commercial
purpose they are going to use the drone
phone in that case what they will do is
when once they get the permission they
will be give you UIN unique
identification number which will be
placed or stick down the drone just like
in America it's a like a license so we
can use the drone that since our
regulations and uncertainity of
technologies is in India so these people
who is going to use on the drone in the
certain places they have to contact
their local police station so once they
get the permission from the police or
the inspector or the constable or
whatever guys inside that on once they
get the permission from that place where
they are going to use the drone if there
is any complaint from the public or
anyone says that there is something
going on their head so the police will say
well it teach them it's a commercial
footage of a drone existed wrong they
are taking a movie and then on a video
or something else is a documentary so
they can be have a permission to use so
but you cannot just walk into the
station and ask for the permission just
like that
you need a very powerful guy with you
like a area counselor or municipality
some guy in the higher places so in that
way you can bring this guy to the police
station and get the permission to use
for couple of hours if you if you are
going to use that for five hours you get
permission for five hours and that's it
and they don't have any rules to take
that from you so you are perfectly safe
only in the customs in the airport
you're they blocked either be confesicate
that they will take it and destroy it so
number two what what are the real
approvals to use your drone all the time
forever so these are the approvals you
have to get from these following eight
these following people number one is air
navigation service provider
these are the guys which you have seen
in the airport sitting in the big high
tower you have to get the permission
from them number two is the defense it
means the military because you are
they will think it's a plan of a
terrorist or it poses any threat so you
have to get the permission from the
defense man
and the third permission you have to get
from is the Ministry of Home Affairs
that's again a politician thing.it's a
very big thing you have to get that permission from them the number four is
other concern security agencies like CBI
the police it's all come in this one so
these are the four rules you have to
follow if you have to fly the drone on
the time in your city-state village or
any places you travel in India so this
is the risk and in the website itself it
is shown that due to the lack of
regulations the procedure standard and
uncertainty of the technologies in
aerial system it provides a type of threat to the
public so that's what they said and they
don't want to us to use the drones just
like that and it will it will make it
will process danger to the wildlife like
birds or something else which will hit
it obviously it will die so these are
the regulations like the drone in India
you just follow these rules like go to
the nearest police station ask for
permission and you just fly it to limit
and then pack it and get back in
so only way and where you can buy the
drone like a normal drone in the illegal
drones like they will buy from the
foreign and keep it in right now you can
buy that only in Delhi a karol bagh and

here which you can buy it but it doesn't
have any insurance or any warranty claim
if there is any problem so the one which
we use is from the DJI so we use it if
there is any for any clash or any water
problems if it fall down anything we can
still send this to back to the place we
bought it and they will they can use the
postal service or the courier service so
send is a package without batteries you
cannot put the batteries inside because
it's going to fly they will not accept
the battery so remove the batteries and
send the drone for the service or the
replacement and they will send it back
to you so hopefully this is very useful

big deal once you crossed it
