I'm so excited!
and it's concerning the fact that
I am currently planning my own course
and I want to bring out a course for you all
and the entire time I was thinking
...okay what, how, where
and then this idea just came to me and
I thought to myself - this is just perfect
so I am moving to Germany in 4 weeks
and I always I wanted to share my passion with you all somehow
and bring out something that could help you
and so I was considering...okay, my passion was always for German
and because I am moving to Germany in 4 weeks, I think that's just perfect!
I am going to bring out a course, that's going to be like a simulated experience in Germany
because one thing that I've noticed
and I think it's often the case
that in a lot of language classes, you learn vocabulary that you simply don't need for every day life
or I know, when I moved to Germany
a year ago or now one and a half years ago
as I arrived in my new apartment
yeah, I just realised that I didn't know many of the words
or simply, things that I needed
like things that I really needed
for example, as I went to the bank or at home
Like I didn't know how you would say 'powerpoint' or a 'hammer' or a 'screwdriver'
or what a 'Citizens Registration Office' was
not even a shopping bag
honestly!
And that's why I really want to create something that can help you
and that is suitable for beginners, for advanced learners
and above all for people who would like to move to Germany
or simply want to spend a while there
and I thought, let's start today already!
So I am currently in my bedroom

and on the bed we also have my leather jacket
And what you might have noticed is that I said AN (on) the wall there is a picture but AUF (on) the bed
and the difference, why you say AN the wall but not AN the bed
is because you use AUF when talking about a horizontal surface
and then AN when it is a vertical one
So we use AUF when it is a horizontal surface
and we use AN when it is a vertical surface
so for example, let's take

Let's take my sunscreen
My sunscreen is on my head
because it is on a horizontal line so to speak
BUT when I would now take my sunscreen and
would stick it onto the wall here
I would say, the sunscreen is AN (on) the wall
