Tangled: The Series Episode 4 REVIEW - "Challenge of the Brave" - Duration: 4:01.
Hello lords and ladies.
Welcome back to Cartoon Hangout, your place for all things cartoon!
I know the review is majorly late, but if you wanted to know my thoughts on episode
4, "Challenge of the Brave," which saw Rapunzel facing off against Cassandra, then
here it is: I actually loved this episode.
I know what you're thinking, "Whoa, you love an episode that heavily revolves around
Cassandra?"
And yeah, I kinda do.
We're not remotely far into this series and I haven't been the biggest fan of Cassandra.
She's abrasive, she serves as a sort of obstacle for Eugene and Rapunzel, and she's
just a little full of herself.
To draw a comparison to an older anime series, she's close to Sakura from Naruto.
Obviously the two characters are very different personality-wise as well as their roles in
their individual stories, but Cassandra just really reminds me of her.
This episode still has all of those personality traits of Cassandra's, but it puts them
in a slightly more sympathetic light that I can get behind.
Up until now she's just been a jerk with no real reason to be so.
Now we get some more insight into what it's like trying to prove herself but at the same
time being Rapunzel's handmaiden.
One side of herself, her true self, is the tough, butt-kicker we've seen so far, but
then she also has to put on a dress, act lady-like, and be nothing more than a handmaiden.
She's gotta deal with the laughs and mockery her fellow warriors put her through.
So she enters the challenge of the brave to show everyone that she's more than Rapunzel's
lady in waiting…only for poor, naive Rapunzel who thinks it's all a game to enter alongside
her friend.
What ensues is a really entertaining episode as we finally see some cracks in their friendship.
Again, until now she's been solely antagonistic towards Eugene.
But in this episode her competitiveness and need to prove herself throws Rapunzel into
her path.
And it is a delight and I mostly rooted for her.
Eventually they do make up, with Rapunzel showing some nice growth, as well as Cassandra.
It's always nice to see a character or two learn they were in the wrong and not just
slide it under the table.
Plus seeing the two women go at each other was very fun to watch.
It surprised me a little to see how far Cass would go to see Rapunzel get thrown from the
competition.
She's pretty ruthless even with her friend, especially when she's trying to step out
from said friend's enormous, golden-haired shadow.
I'd love to see the writers put their friendship through its paces even more as the series
develops, considering Cass does seem to make a habit of getting Rapunzel to do things you
know she shouldn't.
As for my main man, Eugene, he gets a little silly sidestory in this episode, too.
He's constantly being too loud for the crowd and is moved around a lot.
It's a funny distraction from the main plot of the episode, but not too annoying when
it happens.
The only complaint I recall having about the episode is Cassandra taking out such a big
enemy.
Logically it didn't make much sense as there's no way Cass is strong enough to do that.
I see it sometimes out of strong female characters in fiction and it usually stretches my suspension
of disbelief.
If she managed to outmaneuver him, that'd be fine.
Flipping him, though?
Nah, I don't buy it.
In closing, though, this was a really great episode.
The writing was high quality with a great story that managed to make me warm up to Cassandra
even more.
We'll just have to see how this week's episode, which I'll try to review as soon
as I can, will go in that regard.
And those were my thoughts on last week's Tangled the Series episode.
What did you think of it?
Share your opinions down below and I'll see you soon for more Cartoon hangout.
Thanks for watching and take care.

Life on Io? - Duration: 5:14.
One of great unknowns of our solar system is whether it hosts other life, particularly
microbial.
I say the words other life carefully because there are two types of potential life in our
solar system for us to consider.
The first of these is life that evolved independently of earth life without any influence from here.
This would be truly alien life and would give us an indicator that microbial life in the
universe at large is probably common.
The other potential for life in the solar system is life transported from earth via
panspermia getting deposited somewhere else and gaining a foothold.
Our planet is teeming with microbial life, some of it extreme and possibly able to survive
the rigors of space.
It's entirely possible that we, the human race, will not claim the title of being the
first life from earth to colonize other worlds.
This has led me to research just where either of those forms of off-earth life might exist
in our solar system.
There are obvious candidates such as Mars or Europa, but there were other candidates
that surprised me when I went searching for the science on the subject.
This video is the first in a series on this channel exploring those places, and this candidate
is one that if it does harbor life, it's probably going to be centuries before we know about
it.
That's because it would be exceedingly hard to verify its existence.
It's Jupiter's moon Io and the reason for why it's going to be a while is that there
is just no compelling reason to try to land on this moon.
Studies from spacecraft passing by from afar are feasible, but expensive and with life
there only just being within the realm of possibility it seems that Io will not be a
priority for exobiological study for some time.
First there's just not much on the surface, it's basically just a big ball of mostly sulfur
compounds.
And a lander might well melt as it's the most volcanically active body in the solar system
kept so by intense gravitational flexing it as it orbits.
But volcanism is a dual-edged sword.
While it can easily kill life, it can also provide an energy source for its genesis and
indeed some models for how life arose on earth depend on the presence of volcanoes.
A possible way for life to survive on Io was presented by Dr. Dirk Schulze-Makuch in a
2010 paper in the Journal of Cosmology, link in the description below.
The key to the possibility of microbial life on Io is linked to its history.
Io is old, having formed about 4.5 billion years ago and today it has the least water
out of any object in the solar system.
But that may not have always been so.
Objects in the outer solar system are typically rich in water ice anyway, and the models suggest
that Io formed in an area where water ice was particularly plentiful in the Jupiter
system.
Given geothermal heating, some of that water might have been liquid opening up the possibility
for the chemistry of life to get going, at least for a while, this would have had to
happen within the first ten million years of that moon's existence.
And, as we learn more about the early conditions present in the Jupiter system, it may be the
case that it was always impossible for life to arise on Io.
But, at least right now, there is a chance.
Now, life on Io's surface is improbable and not just because of the volcanic activity.
Jupiter blasts its surface with very high levels of radiation, and that likely precludes
any possibility of panspermia or at least makes the chances low unless it happened very
early on and native life could not arise there now.
But beneath the surface of Io the conditions might be just right for microbes originating
from Io's early history to hold out.
Jupiter's radiation long ago deprived Io of its surface water, but below the surface there
may be carbon dioxide and water in liquid form.
And Io could well have several other potential liquid solvents for life including hydrogen
sulfide, sulfur dioxide and even sulfuric acid.
Another important factor to consider would be the presence of lava tubes.
Lava tubes are rich abodes of life here on earth and may also be so on Io.
They provide protection from radiation and can be moist environments and also temperatures
within the tubes could be both constant and warm.
But that's not the only way.
The paper advances another model where the microbes might exist as dormant spores underground
for very long periods only to be activated when lava is flowing on the surface above
warming any fluids below to liquid temperatures and allowing a blossoming of life for a time
before it once again goes dormant.
So while life on Io is a long shot, and there are far better candidates in our solar system
that we must look at first, Io may one day prove to be more interesting than we might
have imagined.
Thanks for listening!

23 Ways To Recognize Crystal Children - Duration: 9:15.
23 Ways To Recognize Crystal Children
BY GOSTICA
Reports of the unique generation known as the Indigo Children have permeated our collective
consciousness since the 1980s.
But as these children have grown into adulthood, we are blessed with an entirely
new wave of beings known as the Crystals.
Beginning to arrive en masse in the 1990s, a few scouts made their way through to test
the waters as early as the 1980s.
Their temperament is entirely fresh in comparison to their elder spiritual counterparts yet
their unique life path and imprint on our world is just as profound.
While the Indigos forged their way by challenging the establishment, the zen and blissful nature
of the Crystal Children came here in sublime harmony to champion a loving partnership with
the Gaia.
It is the Crystal Children who will herald in the next phase of humanity honoring the
ways of the natural world, protective of the Earth and in gentler ways illuminating ways
to shift the trajectory of humanity.
As we are witnessing the millennials (many of whom are early Crystals) re-shape corporate
America, question established moral structures and step away completely from the materially
driven ideal of success, we can see early inklings of just what their impact will be.
The Crystal Children follow their heart in all matters, championing an idealism not as
a lofty notion but actually put into practice.
They are not contented to suck up and work hard in order to attain vernacular success
but rather are driven in heart and soul by making the world better in every facet.
DIAGNOSED DISORDERS
Because of their closeness to the spiritual realms, the Crystal Children often had delayed
speech waiting until 3 or 4 years of age to begin connecting with the outside world.
While this freaked out some parents, it is a sign of their divine intimacy with the other
realms.
Rather than panicking, many parents instead chose to nurture their telepathy and creativity
offering more expanded forms of connection.
Songs and physical language became the norm as they offered instead more meaningful ways
of communication.
Singing, rocking, touch and telepathy became their chosen mediums and ignited the psychic
gifts of kids and parents alike.
Their delays and unusual ways created a wave of labels autism and Aspergers spectrum
were born of this generation.
Beyond a limitation, this difference is striking and instructs their enlightened genetic blueprint.
Parents should not be discouraged by these diagnoses nor should they seek to fix it!
As literal angels that enter our world and gene pool, the Crystal Children are here to
illuminate the inherent spirit of mankind.
True autism means literally that they are unable to connect with others.
Any encounter with this heightened being however shows us clearly this is not the case.
They are re-connecting on higher dimensions than that of previous generations.
Far from cut off from others, they are here to bring these celestial frequencies into
human form.
Kindness, compassion and a deep love of the Earth and all her inhabitants are the norm.
Ive done readings for years for kids with autism and can tell you that their telepathy
is strongly in tact.
It is the non-verbals who have the most to say and are grateful for an opportunity to
be heard.
They are avid walkers between worlds here to convey great knowledge and wisdom that
will alter forever our understanding of the universe we inhabit.
Sensitivities of all manner food allergies, intolerance of outside stimulus, and reactions
to the prescribed medical model are but a few of the ways these beings are highlighting
the ills of the modern world.
Because of their response, GMOs are being removed from mainstream foods, we are becoming
more aware of the pollutants in our air and water.
Their reaction to our world is enabling us to change to more natural ways of living on
the planet free of harmful toxins and its effects.
NOT FROM THIS REALM
The most notable physical feature of the Crystals is their eyes deep, wide and penetrating
these beings ooze old soul. It is their wisdom which is most startling, for it feels
as if they can at times see right through you beaming back loving compassion and understanding.
From their eyes exude waves of divine light.
Sometimes intense, not everyone can rest easy in their gaze, for their power is commanding.
To be sure, being in their presence can be unnerving to those who walk out of sincerity.
My kiddo is in a Waldorf school.
In kindergarten when most kids were drawing pictures of the sun, their pets and their
happy families, my daughter was drawing pictures of the starry night sky.
Her teacher pointed out that this is sign is an old soul, not from this realm and is
thereby more connected to her past life and off planet origins.
Not surprising as the daughter of a shaman, I was more impressed that the school recognized
and honored her uniqueness.
No condemnation, no being told what to draw instead, she was seen and encouraged in drawing
the places that felt like home to her.
PATH OF THE CRYSTAL CHILDREN
Thanks in part to the aggressive trail blazing ways of the Indigos, the Crystal Children
appeared in a unsteady society emboldened to walk in peaceful harmony and gently offer
new ways of being.
In their heart centered ways, they are more easily received than the Indigo generation
and will help create a safer, more beautiful and inclusive world for us all.
They move not from force but from clear purpose as beacons of possibility and peace.
It was this generation that created school recycling programs, collected clothing and
food for the less fortunate and spoke in public forums on what they saw as the demise of our
civilization.
Immensely connected to nature, they are creating a resurgence in living off the grid, working
with crystals as tools for well being and seek healing outside of the medical paradigm.
The Crystals emanate a pure vibration of love.
More than simply the next wave, they are here to elevate humanity and pave the way for new
compassion, community and ways of being that will uplift us all.
They are the future illuminating true unity consciousness free of greed
and ego based drives.

DIY clothes - Plaid trousers //Remakes - Duration: 5:51.
Separate the seams of the garment
Take the back part and fold it in half
Place your trouser template on top and cut all round, leaving seam allowance. This will be the front pattern
I'am going to separate the side later
Take the front parts of the cut garment, and place them right sides facing each other
I'am ripping the facing to add more space
Now place the front piece you had cut on top, and use it as the template for the back pattern
Cut out as it is, since the seam allowance is already added
When cutting the crotch area of the back, add a bit more ease
I' am using this piece to cut the waistband
I'am now separating the front side seam like i had said
Now stitch the crotch area of the front pieces together
Do the same for the back
Once stitched, place them right sides facing together
Join the legs inseam
And join the sides as well
Leave space there, for the side zip
The trousers needed a bit more shaping, so i took in at the sides
I'am measuring the point at which I'll start taking in
Remove the excess fabric
Now take the waistbands, and join on one side
Then join to the trouser, while matching the side seams
Pin all the way
Now take your zip, and join it at the side
Fold the waistband in half and stitch a straight line near the zipper
Now join the rest of the waistband, so it doesn't keep moving
And your done!
