You QUIT?! - Study Motivation - Duration: 5:35.

I'm just being real

You will feel pain

You will hurt

It will hurt along the way

Now here's the beautiful thing about success

There's enough space for everybody, but everybody don't have what it takes

So what happens along the way is that

We have these dreams

and these goals, and these ideas

and all these things we wanna do

and then life puts us to the test

The first thing that life does

to test you, is it makes you go through a little pain

If you can't handle that pain

You can't handle success

If you can't handle dissapointment

you might as well check out now

just quit, just give up, like most people do

See we all go through pain

We all go through pain

but some of us stay on the ground and cry about it

Some of us stay there

But some of us get up

so when you go through pain

if you can get through it, you're gonna be stronger than the person who's never felt pain

and you'll be able to handle stuff in life

because you're used to going through the pain

Do you understand, it's the difficulties that are going to prepare you, and take you to to the next level

So what if you failed your last exam?

So what if you had to retake the year?

Do you understand, you got through that?

You're all running from obstacles

When in fact it's the obstacles that are gonna take you to the next level

You're all running from pain

You're all running from challenges

You're all telling me how difficult your life is

You got put through that because what that does, that tension produces greatness

Stop running from it, start running to it

You did it once, you did it twice, and that didn't work so you QUIT?!

Yeah you did it for three months

Yeah you did it for six months

and you're like, where are the results?

Look

It's gonna take more than six months for it to become a reality

You've gotta learn to stop starting and stopping

You've gotta learn to stop quitting and giving up

just because it didn't work out for you the first time

just because it didn't work out for you the 20th time

You've just gotta keep going

and keep going, what you need to know about life is

you cannot lose if you do not quit

so you gotta keep studying, keep reading

keep doing what you gotta do

and if you can weather that storm, I guarantee you

every dream you have will become a reality

There are no limits, just the ones you place on yourself

Look

You gotta do it with passion

You gotta go to college with passion

but you're going to college with an attitude

You're going but you don't really wanna be there

You're not bringing the passion

You're not bringing the fire, you're not bringing the heat

You're studying but you're barely doing it! Come on!

Surely...

You gotta be tired of this 60% you!

Greatness is within you

You. Are. Here.

You have been blessed to be on this earth

You're here! Do something! So whatever you gotta do you do it

I'm a firm believer that talent alone is not enough to be successful

I'm a firm believer that the amount of work you put into something

is more important than anything

The amount of work you put into something

the amount of effort that you give

I'm a firm believer that just because you grew up in a certain neighbourhood

just because your parents are rich, or your mum's a doctor

They're not giving out degrees, they're not giving out success

So what I'm trying to say is, that exams, that's your life

That's your future

Don't look at it like it's a punishment

Don't look at it like, "I gotta go to class"

Whatever you write down

You're literally at school to make your dreams become a reality

So every single day you wake up

This is what should be on your mind

This is what you should be pursuing

You've got a small window, listen to me

You've got a small window, and the problem is, when you're young, you think you've got forever

It's a disease of young people

it's a disease when you're young

You're like, I can go to this party

I'll bounce back

I don't have to study this week, I'll bounce back

You think you'll keep bouncing back

No. You. Won't.

Many of you are not taking ownership of your life

That you have not looked at yourself in the mirror and said

You. Owe. You!

Will the world know that you were here?

Or will you be a distant memory?

Will you leave your mark? You've gotta stay ready

Because I know one thing in your life, the opportunity will come

But will you be ready when it gets there?

So I'm gonna finish by telling you this, It's gonna come

Everything you've ever dreamed of

Every opportunity you've ever dreamed of

It's gonna come

But will you be ready?

When it comes?

I'm Citra Agus

I'm the CEO of Indonesia Mobile Exchange

Independent women

It's all about mindset

Seen from the context

how women able to have decision making

That at the end of the day, the result from what she desired

Woman needs another women

Moreover, when we're talking about

cultural environment

which has pathriarchal nature,

like in indonesia

Woman empowers the other woman

It's actually not a new concept

But, maybe it is...

something uncommon to do

because there's always be competition side

out there

If we indeed applied this concept

woman help the other woman

maybe, it is the acceleration of woman

to have access towards something, which she never had before

it can be faster

and maybe it is more effective

Decision making, should be possible

to be done by women

to help the other women

How Google's featured answers can go terribly wrong - Duration: 4:16.

There has never been a king of the United States.

But there have been times when Google would tell you, at the very top of the page, that

there was.

Their source?

A joke headline on a Breitbart article from 2014.

This isn't the only time something like this has happened: This Google first-answer

box has told users that dinosaurs never existed, that God only loves Christians, and that all

Republicans are Nazis.

"According to debate.org, yes, Republicans = Nazis."

So what are these featured search results?

And why can they be so, so bad?

Responses like this are called a featured snippet.

They're part of what are called "rich answers" on Google — answers that are

given special priority beyond the usual list of links.

If you want to know the score of the latest Warriors game, or how to say thank you in

Arabic, or check the weather in Guatemala City, with Rich Answers you don't actually

have to click on any of the search results.

Those answers are powered by what Google calls its Knowledge Graph, which is a database of

related search information that was launched in 2012.

But Featured Snippets are a different thing, even if they don't look that different.

Knowledge Graph information is limited to verified sources like Wikipedia and the CIA's

World Factbook — but Featured Snippets can pull information from any third-party website.

That's where results can get tricky, as The Outline's Adrienne Jeffries has reported.

For a while, when you asked Google why firetrucks are red, you got back a long Monty Python

joke.

"Right!

Stop that!

Silly."

Snippet answers are usually from one of the top search results.

But they don't have to be: Google places priority on how directly a statement answers

a question, how many words it takes to do it, and whether or not it's presented in a

simple list.

Engagement factors like how often people visit a site and how long they spend on it also

play a part.

So when you ask a question like "how to cook asparagus," the featured answer isn't

the first answer.

It's the tenth.

But that site does format the answer in a simple bulleted list, and answer the query

directly.

Google guesses which part of the page most directly answers your question, and quotes

that portion in the snippet box.

Problem is, the Snippets aren't always right — users have asked questions like "Is

Obama planning a coup" or "which presidents were in the Ku Klux Klan", and gotten back

Featured Snippets from really bad parts of the internet.

One thing we do know is that the sites in these Featured Snippets change a lot.

Of the answers with snippets in January 2016, more than 55 percent either didn't have

a featured snippet or featured a different URL just six months earlier.

What that means is that Google has an automated process that decides whether or not to keep

snippets based on how they perform.

In addition to the user-reported "Feedback" button, Google also has several thousand contractors

who review search results pages on how well they answer questions.

Rich Answers make up a big part of Google's overall strategy — a group called Stone

Temple Consulting conducted a study where they entered 1.4 million queries into Google

and found that about 20 percent of questions returned answers that pulled from the Knowledge

Graph or Featured Snippets.

Featured Snippets are a key part of what gives Google's voice search and Google Home an

edge over other digital assistants.

Danny Sullivan, who runs a blog called Search Engine Land, demonstrated this by asking both

Google Home and Amazon Echo whether or not he could feed his guinea pig grapes:

Amazon's device, which pulls answers from Bing, couldn't answer, but Google's could.

The reason why?

It's a Featured Snippet.

So yes, these snippets can go wrong, and they're going to require a lot of algorithm policing

from Google.

But they're a key part of their strategy to provide answers that are useful and sound

natural — so don't expect them to go away anytime soon.

So Google is pretty good about fixing these mistakes when they've happened.

But sometimes when they think they've fixed something, the answer is still actually wrong.

After Searchengineland.com wrote about how ridiculous it was that Google was citing Breibart

as saying that Obama was the king of America, the snippet changed.

And instead it cited Searchengineland.com.

But it still said that Obama was the king of America.

Organize Your Important Documents Before An Emergency - Duration: 1:51.

I've got three quick tips for you today

for organizing your important documents

BEFORE an emergency happens.

#1: I want you to have one place that you keep

everything - up to you where that is. It could

be in a safe, could be in a file cabinet,

but tell one trusted person in your

family about it so they know where to

access everything. #2 is to have

very clear instructions about what bills

you pay every month, where your passwords are,

if you have a safety deposit box.

You can get a book like this online that

will give you all that information,

places to put it. It'll tell you

everything to fill out - a blank book -

which is just awesome or you can create

one yourself or my favorite option is to

download a free version online like this

one, which is really cool. Google The Big

Book of Everything by Eric Dewey and it

is 50 pages of everything somebody would

need to know in case you weren't there.

How to run your household, how to take

care of things, all your retirement plans,

your transcripts for school, even your

medical history. You can even put final

arrangements in here so they can find

all the information that you need.

And lastly, I would schedule a yearly check

in on your calendar a year from when you

finish this and I would update your

information every year because things

are going to change and you want to make

it as easy as possible, everything in one

place. So if something happens to you

your family can take over. So be safe,

plan ahead, and give your loved ones a

wonderful gift - nothing to worry about in

an emergency.

Japanese video about why those who study abroad in Canada become ugly - Duration: 4:14.

Film Location: Vancouver

"Afterwords of a Girl Who Became Ugly Studying Abroad in Canada" Film Location: Vancouver

"Afterwords of a Girl Who Became Ugly Studying Abroad in Canada"

When you say Canada

I think of lots of blonde-haired people

I arrived there thinking that but...

Asians, Asians, Asians was all there was

Oh yeah, you're Asian too!

When you say Canada

I imagine western cuisine

The popular foods are

RAMEN

SOONDUBU

XIAO LONG BAO

NASI GORENG

I knew it, it's all Asian!

It's not like what I heard, it's not like what I heard

It's completely different from the stories I heard in Japan

That's the Immigrant Country, Canada

Three months have gradually passed but

I can't speak English

When I'm next to Japanese people who are fluent

I feel hesitant

Since I rely on body motions and hand gestures

I've improved on...

I've improved on... body language

In the end, since I'm with Japanese people

My English didn't improve (but my Japanese improved!)

It's not like what I heard, it's not like what I heard

Even though they told me everything would be great if I went to school there

Nothing is fine

Six months have gradually passed but

I got fat

It's really safe here but

they're loose with time

There's lots of nice foreigners here but

they're unfashionable

I was lured into skipping out on fashion

and being without makeup

Tobacco is expensive

There's lots of purse snatchers

The handsome fashionable men here are...

pretty much all gay

The Country Where Homosexuals Live Comfortably, Canada

One year has gradually passed but

it's super fun!

Having both nature and big cities

is super fun!

Even with all the Asian food

In the end, I'm glad (It's delicious!)

Even with all the Japanese people

I feel super relaxed (Mom and Dad are relaxed too)

I thought that it wasn't like what I heard but

compared to what I thought it should be, it's...

more exciting

oh... I'm getting fat

oh... I'm becoming more ugly

but what's this feeling?

I don't want to go back to Japan

And before I know it, I'll be fluent in English!
