Several details are indicated on the crates :

the weight and the tracking number.

Now that the introductions are over,
let's look at how they are prepared.
The lettuce leaves are then removed
and cut.

The leaves are cleaned in cold running water.
Everything takes place in the factory at a constant temperature of 4°C (39°F)
and under very strict hygiene conditions.
The lettuce leaves are dried
for about 30 seconds,

All the freshness is preserved during the drying.
Throughout the process,
detection and verification equipment
ensure the quality
and the absence of insects or soil naturally present in the fields.
Now let's see how the lettuces are packaged.
Whether they are to be packed as a single variety or a mix of different lettuce leaves,
they are automatically weighed
and bagged
with a controlled amount of oxygen.
The bags
are then hermetically sealed
to guarantee their quality.
They are then transported
to a temporary storage area
where the clients' orders are prepared
and ready to be delivered within 24 hours!
Before being loaded into the truck,
the lettuces are checked one last time.
It is now time to say goodbye to our lettuces,
which will arrive in stores
and on restaurant tables, generally the following day.
