I came to New York for the first time 12 years ago,

and all the different things I absorbed at that time are still alive in me now in what I do as a performer.

A rival is someone who is constantly stimulating your senses.

All the people I meet give me constant stimulation.

Whether it's dance, performing on stage,

making clothes or whatever kind of activity, it's full of challenges.

But right now I'm enjoying the challenges in what I do.

I definitely don't want to waste the chance I've been given;

I'm putting 120% into everything.

Dance has opened me up to so much

and allowed me to see so many different things.

I'm always learning important life lessons through dance.
