Hi guys!
I'm going to talk about my youtube journey so far,
but after that I have a tiny announcement. So keep watching!
It all started at the end of 2010. I had just broken up with my former boyfriend after 3,5 years
and I wasn't feeling too good about myself.
I was doing all sorts of things to keep me occupied. Like hanging out with friends,
going on lots of dates with different guys and partying.
I was 19, almost 20 at the time.
Sidenote: this is also when I met my husband.
And we officially got together on the 6th of February 2011.
Anyways! I'm getting ahead of myself.
Two acquaintances from my high school reached out to me after seeing a video of me singing on my social media.
And they asked me if I wanted to form an acoustic band with them.
And upload cover videos to youtube.
That seemed like a lot of fun.
So I gladly said yes!
So that's when it all began! We got together regularly and uploaded cover videos.
I even started learning how to play the guitar myself
and I created a solo youtube channel
called Shelleygoldylocks.
yes, I know this is spelled wrong.
I loved making new videos, learning how to edit and just expressing myself.
But then when I got pregnant, I didn't really feel like posting cover videos anymore.
On either channels.
So, I took a little break from youtube.
And I just focussed on my pregnancy and becoming a mother.
Which is something that I really wanted, so that's where my passion was at the time.
And then my son was born and we took a very natural approach on raising him.
Breastfeeding, carrying him around in wraps, baby led weaning, cloth diapers, bedding in,
which is a form of co-sleeping.
And all that good stuff.
I developed a desire to talk about that!
I used to watch lots of other mommy-vlog channels
and it just seemed like a lot of fun.
So I created a blog first and soon after that I created this channel.
And I've been hooked ever since!
I'm able to express myself and I have found myself an outlet.
But what I love about it most is seeing my kids grow up on camera.
I started this when Taylor was about 10 months old? 9/10 Months old.
And he's over 2,5 years old now.
He actually loves watching old videos with him in it as well.
And the same will probably happen to Yuna!
My future goals for this channel are connecting with you guys more,
creating more and better content
and growing my channel!
Our channel! Because we're in this together after all.
So here's for my little announcement.
I'm going to start sticking to a schedule.
To begin, I'm going to upload a new video every Thursday, central European time.
And if all goes well, I might add another day to that.
So, yeah. I'm really just getting started. And I'm starting to enjoy this whole youtube thing more & more.

So I'm wondering, how long have you been on youtube?
I've been on youtube I think since 2005,
but I was just a watcher, a viewer. I didn't really create content back then.
Apart from... the channel doesn't exist anymore
Youtube deleted it, because it hadn't been used for so long.
But I used to sing to anime songs, and just record the audio and put some pictures over it
and then I would upload that to youtube.
Yeah, it's a bummer that doesn't exist anymore
I would really like to listen to that again.
