AN UNHEALTHY OBSESSION.

Nah, don't worry. It's not a bad thing!

Hello, I'm Rogan and welcome.

I'm sure you were a little thrown by the title, wondering what's up, what's an unhealthy obsession?

I feel like I want to have a direct, frank discussion about the obsession with what?

The "I LOVE YOU" sign.

I've talked about this before with some of my friends, and they agree on this.

We don't understand why.

When I went to Europe, I was taken aback. Like... What?

This sign, [ILY], is EVERYWHERE. Everywhere. I mean, everywhere...in the world.

Hearing people, usually non-signers, are obsessed with this sign for some reason. I don't understand.

If you understand, please explain it to me. I...

If you go to a Deaf* event, it is GUARANTEED that it will have something with an [ILY] on it.

Guaranteed.

It even might have some booths that have nothing BUT the [ILY] products.

This is SO bad, I've seen Deaf* comic artists make fun of this.

They tease about if you see a booth that's ALL [ILY] everywhere, they're hearing.

Why? Because they're obsessed with the [ILY], everything has the [ILY].

Deaf* people are like, okay fine, we do use this, but we don't use it as much as other people do.

It doesn't make sense.

The biggest thing that I don't understand about the obsession with this...

Other countries have adopted this, used this sign as a way of saying the same thing in their country.

Even though it doesn't work with their language.

Let me explain for those who don't know sign.

The [ILY] sign is from what? I, L, Y, is short for I Love You. I, L, Y, I,L,Y,ILY [ILY].

So... ILY, [I love you], works with English, yes.

Let's look at Spanish for an example.

Spanish for "I love you" is "Te amo." T and a. There's no i, l, or y.

So... [ILY] obviously doesn't work in their language, but they still adopted it for use.

That's fine, sure because it's sign. It doesn't have to follow spoken language.

But... I honestly do not understand why people are stuck on using that for "representing" the Deaf* community.

I don't want to have a shirt with I LOVE YOU on it....

Because I don't love everyone, I'm sorry but I don't.

I don't want to be screaming "I LOVE YOU ALL" when I don't.

There are certain people that are really... Difficult to love.

I'm not going to say names, but I think you can guess one big...person that I would really not have the ability to even...like.

ANYWAY. That's off the point.

I don't want to have a product that screams "I LOVE YOU" to every person who looks at it. I'm... No.

Why can't our clothes be representative of other signs? Other...art related to the Deaf* community?

And not always obsessed with fingerspelling or [ILY].

I feel like that's all of the Deaf* products. [ILY] and ABCs. That's it.

Or something that uses the ABCs to fingerspell the name of a person, or whatever.

I'm complaining about not having any other products, and before you comment ahhh!

Yes, we do have them. But they're extremely limited.

I do have one. I will show you it right now.

This one is mostly to do with RIT Tigers.

But. This is one of the few ASL products that DON'T follow the ABCs or [ILY].

So... What are your thoughts on this? What do you think? Is this...overkill?

Or are you just as obsessed with this as other people are?

I'm NOT saying that it's a bad thing to be obsessed with this, I just want to understand...why??

SURFACE REVIEW IN 2! Lenovo Y Gaming Stereo Headset (with BLOOPERS!) - Duration: 2:20.

Let's get started... The Lenovo Y Gaming Stereo

Headset immediately makes you feel

intrigued. The price may indicate

entry level but compared to other

headsets that cost twice as much, i'm

impressed. The carbon fiber texture is

Lenovo's signature look within the Y

Gaming lineup. Red accents looks sharp

and give it that finished look. The

economic design of the 90 degree swivel

ear cups is a great feature. They're

made from a washable store cloth. But it

would be nice if they detached for

easier cleaning. I've broken a few headssets.

One just by putting it on.

Not only did he survive my personal

stress test, but i did twiest these

around and they feel solid. I mentioned I

like the carbon fiber texture and I do.

However I like to keep my stuff looking

nice and the black finish scratched a little

easier than I care for... just personal

preference. The sleeved 3.5 millimeter cables

are nice as is a provided audio and

mic splitter. No volume control

box built in but the stereo quality is

excellent from these 50 millimeter

drivers. The soft padding isolates the

sound nicely. I gave it a test drive

over a few games and even over a few of

Pink Floyd's greatest hits and I have no

complaints. The retractable noise

cancelling mic is definitely a nice

feature and it stays however you flex it.

Mic quality itself might not be

completely stellar but it's more than

acceptable. On the surface,

The Lenovo Y Gaming Stereo Headset is a

legit accessory for any gaming

enthusiasts. It's lightweight and sounds

great.

There are even a few nice upgrades

like sleeved cables and padded ear cups.

"Actions!" The Lenovo Y Gaming Headset... (laughing) that's

probably loud as shit. The ergonomic

design of the 90 degree swivel...

good lord... (laughs)

They're made of a washable super... SUPER

CLOTH! (laughs) oh god (eh and fart noise)

Why Do I Have Tonsil Stones? - Duration: 2:23.

A sore throat can be a sign of all kinds of medical maladies.

You might have caught a cold from your coworkers, or just cheered too loudly at the big game

last night.

But if it feels like there's an irritating lump in your throat, there might actually

be something stuck back there: a whitish-yellowish tonsil stone.

These hard globs come from the food bits, dead cells, and other junk in your mouth.

But even though they might be a little weird and uncomfortable and gross, they're not

really dangerous.

Your tonsils are part of your lymphatic system.

They work with a bunch of other tissues to get rid of waste, and fight off infections.

There are actually three different groups of tonsils, but tonsil stones mostly show

up in the palatine tonsils

The palatine tonsils are those two squishy patches at the back of your throat that you

can see in the mirror if you open your mouth wide enough.

The palatine tonsils are full of tonsillar crypts, which are deep folds of tissue that

are designed to lure in bacteria and maximize the amount of tissue that those bacteria touch.

That way, lots of immune cells can be exposed to potential pathogens, and start to build

up a targeted immune response with antibodies to fight them off.

Unfortunately, when you have cozy crevices for bacteria, sometimes they get a little

too comfortable.

These crypts can collect dead cells, extra mucus, and food debris or other particles

that somehow end up in your mouth – which provide a delicious breeding ground for lots

of different microbes.

After a film of bacteria forms, these goopy lumps can start to calcify, becoming hard

structures made of calcium and other minerals.

The solid lumps that form are called tonsil stones, or tonsilloliths.

Tonsil stones can vary in size from a couple millimeters to a couple centimeters.

Sometimes people just swallow them, or sometimes they stick around and can irritate your throat.

Some bacteria that have been found on tonsil stones produce lots of sulfur compounds, which

might cause bad breath.

But that's usually the worst of it.

It's really rare for tonsil stones to get big enough to be dangerous and make swallowing

painful or difficult.

If you want to get rid of them, you can try to pop them out using a brush or some gargling.

Or you can go to an ear, nose, and throat doctor for extra help.

Tonsil-removing surgery is a last resort, if these chunks form all the time, or become

severely irritating.

Other than surgery, there's not much you can do to stop tonsil stones from forming.

They're just one of those weird things your body does sometimes.

But at least they're not dangerous.

Live Roach Removed from Woman's Skull After Complaining About 'Crawling Sensation' - Duration: 1:19.

For Complex News, I'm Hanuman Welch and the next time you're suffering from a tingling

pain behind your eyes, it might not be another migraine.

A 42-year-old woman in India had a "full grown cockroach" extracted from her skull after

complaining about a painful "tingling, crawling" sensation to her doctors

Doctors removed the insect which was still alive when they removed it from the base of

the woman's skull, right between the eyes and close to the brain.

According to the Times of India, Doctors spent forty five minutes in surgery with the woman,

and in case you were wondering what that looks like:

The roach apparently made its way into the woman's head by crawling up her nose while

she was sleeping.

The woman tried to ignore the pain, saying.

"I could not explain the feeling but I was sure it was some insect.

There was a tingling, crawling sensation.

Whenever it moved, it gave me a burning sensation in my eyes.

I spent the entire night in discomfort, sitting up and waiting for dawn to go to [the hospital]."

The woman was lucky since the bug would have eventually died an infection could have spread

to her brain.

So I guess the takeaway here is never sleep or else the roaches win.

the criss angel platinum magic kit so this is a pretty cool trick and it's where you

can take this little cube pick any color i'm not going to look lets go with what ever color

this is right there you got this if you can see that right there now were just going to

put that right on top now i'm just going to think so you half to use your vision to think

so i'm going to think the color is pink lets check pink i'll even do it one more time to

show you that i'm not looking at it look it look it see that color got it now i'm just

going to place that right on top yellow it's yellow lets check yes it is want

to know how to do this this is a very easy simple trick check it out all's i'm doing

it doesn't matter what the color is in this case it's red i'm not actually putting it

on top i'm doing this i'm twisting it a little bit then i'm putting it on top so what i'm

looking at it from the back I can just look and this is red it was kind of hard to see

because the light this is red i'm just I just say red then I act like I pull it up but at

the same time i'm pulling it up and turning it this way so from this way it would look

like this got it then instead of putting it just like this your going to twist it a little

bit so it's like this then put it on then it looks like that then when you bring it

up you just twist it a little bit just like that as your pulling it up so if you have

one of these kits or one of these tricks go get it you can practice this tell me what
