most of my videos here are based on

chronic illnesses but these are

different video to be quite honest today

I don't want to talk about chronic

illnesses any of that crap not today

I'm so sorry sometimes you need that

little break I'm sure some of you can

understand that you just can't talk

about it all the time and that's why I

do mix videos here and so I have my

other channel and maybe you like this

one so I've seen these videos where

people have talked about stupid things

they have thought when they were kids

and I thought about them and I remember

a few of them so I thought I'd share

them with you if you're listening to

these let me know if you have any

because I'd love to hear them maybe if

you guys could have enough if you want

to tweet me comment below snapchat me

whatever it is and share them with me

and to share them with me or maybe I can

make another video of it I just think

they're I just think they're really fun

to listen to

okay so the first one I want to you guys

about is my oldest brother Josh he's

about four or five years older than me

do you guys remember that song grandma

got ran over by a reindeer okay that one

every time he heard that one looks like

because he thought grandma got ran over

by a reindeer he knows I have a channel

actually both my brothers do so if he's

watching us love you Josh the other one

although Josh was when he was really

little I think mom said he was around

three Sanders age and remember mr. clean

we wash the mop the floors wet oh yeah

they have mr. clean Dre erasers now

well every time my mom would take the

stuff out and clean the floors he would

see the picture of mr. clean and he

would go around the house when he would

know my mom's going to use mr. clean

Josh would go around the house literally

looking for mr. clean mom said he would

look in the toilet he would look under

sinks he would look behind the doors

and you'd be calling mr. clean mr. clean

where are you alright the next one

brother Dawson he's two years older than

me we both have our birthdays May 15th

Gracie says coming up by the way she's

May 11th which is a Bey before if I were

mailed to Ranse

how crazy is that one of the things that

Dustin thought was emails I don't know

what to call him I don't say power plant

but they had a lot of like electrical

electrical station I don't know what

they're called I'm so genius and really

planned this video out but he is to

think and he swore that aliens split

their way I can't think of it that makes

sense a kid's perspective you know cause

it is kind of crazy looking and nobody

talks about it so what is it like it's a

secret thing the other one is hilarious

mom had told us that milk come from cows

and chocolate milk comes from brown cows

I swear to god you guys my brother

believed this until he was like 13 years

old 13 and 14 like you don't believe me

he believed that until he was like 13 14

years old yeah I got a few for you that

I remember well Nathan um after I

thought a couple about me and my

brothers I I asked Nathan and you said

one of the things that he ver can recall

was he remember asking for something

from his parents something that he

wanted them to buy for him and his mom

dad would say I'm sorry yeah we don't

have any money right now or I don't have

any cash on me right now and Nathan

would always say well just go to the

bank because the explore that money was

free so I thought that was cute I had to

share that one I used to love Kiwis all

the time and when my mom would pick them

up and they were pretty you know they

were expensive not like they are now but

we would be kids eat the Kiwi or just

eating them like man well my mother

decided to tell me yes I know mom's

watching this and I'll never forget it

my mom told me that

we're here nuts dear testicle my mother

told me

Kiwis were dear nuts when I was like I

don't know like six round Gracie's age

you guys I didn't eat a Kiwi for years

another one my stepdad was telling me

that marshmallow for snowman poop so

that was another thing I wouldn't eat

okay this this one's really cute anyways

I don't remember this almost been really

little and you know my mom was a single

mom of three kids and she had to really

be up on her toes because it was went

Josh she would be like eight Dustin was

six and before so you know it was just

she had her hands full with on we were

in the store it was a busy day she just

got off work we had a run of the store

quick get home for dinner and I had

asked her why this woman was black and

she said we happened to be in the cookie

section so she just to come up with

something quick she would say because

she ate too many Oreos so I guess I

would call dark-skinned people Oreo

people and after that she she had taught

me obviously the right way because I've

never been prejudiced and you know when

we could actually sit down and talk

about it those are some stories you guys

Top 5 Double Pointed Needle Tips - Duration: 9:13.

Knitting with double pointed needles?

Here are five tips to make things easier, neater and safer for your knitting.

Alright, let's go!

Tip 1: Tug at the Transfer.

When you're moving from one needle to another, you want to make sure that you tug on your

working yarn.

So let's see what that means.

I'm going to move on to my next needle over here to do a transfer.

Here's my working yarn.

I'm going to go around my naked needle, and knit into that first stitch.

So here's my first stitch, and I just want to give a bit of a tug to make sure the tension

is nice and snug between these two needles.

After I've done that I can continue knitting as normal across this needle.

That's important because when you're transferring from needle to needle you want to keep that

tension even.

You don't want to leave a loose gap between each needle.

Here's what happens when you don't tug at the transfer.

At each transfer point, there's this very loose jog that happens.

It sort of runs down our whole work.

Let's take a look at the next join over here.

Here's our join, and you can see that there's this loose strand of yarn that happens.

Here's our next join and again, there's a very loose strand of yarn.

The rest of our work is very even, but where the join is there's this sort of looseness

that happens.

So you can avoid this by tugging at your transfer.

Tip 2: Protect your stitches

If you plan on bringing your knitting with you, like say you want to pop it in your bag

so you can knit during your commute, you'll want to introduce stitch protectors to your

needles.

Because your double pointed needles don't have a stopper on each end, it's really

easy for your knitting to just fall off - like this.

Ah!

Disaster!

So to prevent this from happening, you can put a temporary stopper onto your needle.

You can buy official ones that look like this.

These are from Amazon.

They're a couple bucks, and I'll throw a link to them in the description box.

Now the other option is to make your own.

A rubber band is all you need.

You're just going to take a rubber band and wrap it around the tip of your needle.

So I'm going in an inch down from the tip, and I'm wrapping this guy around my needle.

Here we go.

Okay, so it's pretty secure.

It's kind of tacky, and look, when I try and push my stitches off my needle, it's

not going to happen.

Not happening, right?

Because I have this rubber band stopper preventing my stitches from falling off.

Pretty cool, right?

You're going to need two rubber bands per needle because we still have this side to

contend with.

So here's my other rubber band.

This one's a huge one.

I don't even know where I got that one from.

This is a monster rubber band, and I'm going to wrap it around a couple times and here

we go.

Makeshift stoppers.

Now I can wrap more rubber bands around each needle and then I don't have to worry about

my stitches falling off my needle.

So there you go.

Remember to protect your stitches with fancy protectors or with plain old rubber bands.

Tip 3: Bamboo or wood is good

If you're wondering what kind of double pointed needles you should get, consider bamboo

or wooden needles.

I find bamboo or wooden needles are better for beginners because they have kind of a

natural surface drag that holds onto stitches better than metal or plastic needles.

Tip 4: Trap a stitch marker

Previously I said that you didn't need to use a stitch marker to mark the beginning

and end of your round on double pointed needles because you've got this handy little remnant

of your longtail cast on.

This little tail tells you where the beginning and end of your round is.

It's right here, so I know that it's right between these two needles.

However, there are some situations in which you maybe want to put in a stitch marker because

you don't want to knit past the beginning and end of your round.

Maybe you're knitting a complicated stitch pattern, you just want this guy in there.

So, you can put your stitch marker right on your needle, just like that.

But you'll notice that if I turn my work at all - oopsie.

My stitch marker just comes right off.

So that's because when you put your stitch marker on your needle, there's no other

stitch on the other side of your marker to prevent it from just popping off.

So what you can do is put on your stitch marker, and we're going to steal one of these stitches

from our right needle and pop it onto our left needle.

By doing that, we'll trap our stitch marker in place.

Here we go.

I'm going to move my stitches up close to my needle and get my left needle out and just

grab that stitch.

I'm going to push my stitches into the middle of my needle so they don't fall off, and

voila.

You can see that now my stitch marker is trapped in place because we've got this new stitch

over on this needle.

So you can do that.

You can just move your stitches around.

Take a stitch from this needle and pop it on this needle.

I can redistribute the stitches however I want.

So that's a really easy way to add in a stitch marker to your knitting.

Tip 5: Make an invisible join

I've got two samples here, and this sample was join just normally.

We knit in the round on our double pointed needles.

You can see here, if we zoom in, you can see that there's a bit of a gap where we joined

in the round.

You can see a bit of looseness here, right?

It's not terrible.

You can fix it by weaving in the end of your longtail and tightening up that gap, but another

way that you can achieve that nice seamless join, is by doing an invisible join.

You can see on this sample here that there's no jog or a gap where we joined in the round.

It's a nice seamless join.

I'm going to show you how to do that next, so let's get into it.

So, to make this invisible join, you're going to cast on one extra stitch than what

you need.

For example, if you need thirty stitches, you'd cast on thirty-one stitches.

That extra stitch is going to get absorbed into our join, so don't worry about it.

It's not going to throw off your stitch count.

That stitch will disappear.

So, you're going to push your stitches on your right and left needle up close to the

tip of both of your needles.

Now we're going to steal the last stitch on our right needle and bring it onto our

left needle.

I'm going to go into the stitch and take it off my right needle.

So, I've got my hand - whoops!

Everything's falling around - I've got my hand holding onto my longtail cast on right

here because i don't want it to unravel and for my stitch to come undone.

So, I'm just holding onto it right now with my thumb.

What's going to happen now, is you're going to take this stitch here - this second

stitch - on your left needle and bring it over the stitch that you just stole.

That sounds kind of complicated.

I'm going to use a separate needle for this.

I think it's just a bit easier.

I'm going to go into this stitch just like that, and I'm going to bring it over this

stitch.

Alright, so watch me go.

Let's see if I can't do this.

Just going to bring it over.

There we go.

Alright, I've just brought that second stitch over my first stitch, and now you can see

that I've joined in the round.

That's not the end of it.

I'm going to take my working yarn and give it a tug.

Then, I'm going to take back this first stitch and bring it back to my right needle.

I'm just going to grab it and bring it back over to my right needle.

Now I'm ready to work my first round.

Now everything's joined in the round.

One of my stitches is down here because I took that stitch and brought it over my first

stitch.

So I've actually decreased one stitch.

That's where our extra stitch has gone.

It's gone down here, right here.

It's actually what's creating that nice join on our round.

Okay, so at this point I'm going to start knitting in the round.

This would be my round one, and I'm going to start knitting as normal.

As you knit, you'll find that that join looks really nice, neat and even.

There you go.

Running Discovery with Horizontal Pattern - Duration: 8:49.

This video covers the use of patterns for horizontal discovery.

Service Mapping and Discovery use patterns in their discovery process.

A pattern is a sequence of operations whose purpose is to establish attributes of a CI.

In this video we'll focus on the use of patterns in horizontal discovery, where they are used to discover a main CI type along with CIs related to it.

The CI we'll be discovering in this demo is a Linux Server.

The platform comes with a wide range of preconfigured CI types that covers the most commonly used applications.

If your organization uses a less known or proprietary application that doesn't have a corresponding CI type, you must create one.

Navigate to the CI Class Manager and search for the Server.

As we can see, a CI type for Linux Server already exists.

For this demo we'll create a new one.

Click on Extend, on the Server Table.

Give the table a Label and Name.

Names for CI types should always start with "cmdb_ci".

If necessary, you can add more columns for the table.

For the purpose of this video, we are going to use the columns automatically inherited from the parent Server table.

Identifiers are used to determine if a discovered CI already exits in the CMDB or is a brand new one.

Here the identifier being used is the 'Hardware Rule' and it's inherited from its parent table – the Server.

For example, this rule has an identifier entry with the 'criterion attribute' Serial Number and Serial Number Type.

Its 'Search on table' field is set to Serial Number.

When the Hardware Rule is applied, the Serial Number table is searched for a match with the values returned from the device.

If no match is found, then the identification search continues to the next rule entry.

If after all the rules are checked without finding a match, a new CI record is created in the database.

In order to launch a discovery for a CI, we need to define a Classification.

We'll now create a Unix classification for the Linux server.

Give the classifier a name and define the table that will be associated with the classified CI.

Each type of Discovery classify probe returns a unique set of parameters that contains classification information.

Define the classification criteria by entering the name, setting the operator to 'equals', and entering "Linux" in the value field.

If the classification criteria are true, then the probes on the triggers probes tab are launched.

After creating our pattern, we must return to this classifier and add a probe that will launch this new pattern.

Now that we have a table and classifier for a CI type, we'll create the pattern to discover it.

Navigate to Discovery Patterns Table and click new.

Give the pattern a name and select Infrastructure as the Pattern Type.

To create a pattern to discover an application such as Apache or Tomcat, choose Application as the pattern type.

Choose the CI we defined earlier as the CI type.

Let's take a look at the new pattern we created.

Under the pattern tab we can view the NDL, a markup language describing the patterns metadata, and steps.

We'll discuss steps later.

These are tables that are related to our main CI type, the Linux Server.

Related CIs are discovered together with the main CI using the pattern.

For example, each Linux Server has a Hard Drive, which is a CI of its own.

We are going to add the Hard Drive CI to the list of related CIs, which will allow us to discover it along with the Linux Server.

Click new and choose CI Type Disk.

Further editing of the pattern, including creating steps, is done in the Pattern Designer application.

Click on Edit For Discovery to open this application

There is one default Identification Section for an infrastructure pattern called 'discovery'.

It is important to note that when using patterns for Discovery both the Identification and Exploration phase happen together when the pattern runs.

As apposed to previously when these phases were separate and had different probes and sensors.

To discover a CI, a pattern performs a set of operations, also known as steps.

A list of steps and their order can be seen in the pane on the left called the Steps Tree.

In the middle pane we see the step that is selected in the steps tree pane.

On the right you see the tables and variables discovered and created during the debug session.

The Debug session allows you to run operations against a device in real time.

To connect to the device and start a Debug Session click on Debug and enter the hosts IP address.

The related tables we added previously can now be seen.

Here is the Hard Drive CI table.

To add a new step, right-click on a step and choose either 'add step before' or 'add step after'.

Next choose an operation such as 'Parse command output'.

For our demonstration, we shall get and define the details of the Linux's CPU.

Here we will enter a command that displays the cpuinfo file.

To run the command on the device and display the result, click Run Command.

Choose the parsing strategy for the result.

In the Variables table, add a variable called cpu_data to hold the data received.

We'll now give an appropriate name for this step.

Steps can be tested by clicking on the Test button.

Here we can see the result.

When moving to the next step the debugger also runs, and inserts the result into the list of temporary variables on the side.

After adding some more steps we now have a complete pattern we can use for Discovery.

Here we can see the steps that have been added to parse the CPU info and populate the cmdb_ci_linux_demo table.

Looking at the linux server table we can see that the information about the cpu has been correctly added.

Now that we have created our pattern, let's go back to the classification and use our pattern to discover the Linux server.

Navigate back to the Linux Demo classification.

Under the Triggers Probe tab click on edit

Add the Horizontal Pattern probe and click Save.

Make sure that the phase is Identification.

As you can see the pattern associated with the probe is empty.

Let's choose our Linux Demo as the pattern.

We'll now run a quick discovery on a Linux device using the pattern we created.

Enter the devices IP address

The discovery is complete.

In order for time-compression to work, you will need to access what is called the YouTube

Recently, the HTML 5 player replaced the Adobe Flash player as the official YouTube default

player, so users should have very little trouble getting it to work.

The option for time-compression can be found under the gear icon, which is located at the

bottom right of most YouTube videos.

To use it, simply click the gear icon, and then select the "speed" option.

If you don't see the "speed" option when you click on the gear, you are likely

not using the most current HTML 5 version of your browser.

When you see the speed options, pick the speed that will best fit your learning.

Speed options range from 0.25 (one quarter) to 2 times the normal speed.
