How to build a Dark Magician deck in Yugioh Duel Links - Duration: 6:37.
what's going on guys my name is nishi
and i hope you guys are having a fantastic day
so far and before I even start this
video I want to thank you guys so much for
watching and without further ado let's
get into it so in this video i'm going to
be showing you how to build a Dark
Magician deck so overall this is what
the deck pretty much looks like before I
even go through the deck one of the skills
that you want to have is you want to
have power of dark and i think you get
this
by leveling up yami yugi to level four and
what this skill pretty much does is it
begins to duel with the field spell yami
at the very beginning of the duel so
what yami does is it powers up
spellcasters their attack and their
defense by 200 and if you look at the
deck pretty much all your monsters
are going to be spellcasters so with
that being said let's get into the deck
so you want to run two Dark Magician
girls and the reason being is because
like let's say you attack with one of
your level 4 stars right let's say you
attack with Arsenal summoner you can
activate this trap card called
magician's circle and what this does is
it allows you to special summon one
spellcaster Type monster with 2,000 or
less attack from your deck so once you
attack you activate that and you can
special summon dark magician girl
directly from your deck
so i run i run about two. two should be pretty
good
you want to run one double coston and
the reason being is because this card
can be treated as two tributes for one
dark monster so you can tribute that one
card to summon dark magician you wanna
run two blue dragon summoner and what this
card pretty much does is when this card sent
from the field to the Graveyard you can
add one spellcaster Type normal monster
from your deck to your hand so this is a
good card too to get dark magician
and this card is probably the
key card of this deck i absolutely love
this card legion the fiend jester so
what this card does is once you normal
summon him you get to do another
normal summon so like let's say you draw
legion and dark magician girl in your
first hand
so what you can do is you can
normal summon legion and right after
that tribute summon Legion for dark
magician girl in the same exact turn so
this card is really good too and when he
sent from the field to the Graveyard you
get to add one Dark Magician from your
deck to your hand
so this card is really good too
unfortunately though I think you can
only get one per box
I think you get it from the tyrant
dragon box and I got lucky I reset
the box on my first pack i got it so
yeah but i recommend to run at least two
of these guys because these guys are
really good in the deck and I run 3
Arsenal summoners just because they're
their attacks are pretty good at 1600 and
with yami it'll be 1800 and I like it too
because it's defense is pretty good too
1600 or it'll be 1800 so if they kuriboh you
still have a pretty decent Monster to
defend
and I only run one dark magician and the
reason being is because let's say you
start the duel you draw like two dark
magicians you're pretty much screwed so
I like to run like one Dark Magician and
yeah and let's get into the spell cards
that i use in this deck so the first one
is riryoku
so what this card does is you get to target two
face up monsters on the field halve the attack of one
monster and add the loss attack to the
other monster so this is pretty good
too to defend like defense for these
guys
dark magic attack so with this card is
if you control Dark Magician you get to
destroy all the spell and trap cards
your opponent controls
gravity axe too so one of your
equip monsters gains 500 so this is good
too to equip to one of these guys so
they stay alive within the duel so you
have time to bring out dark magician and
let's get into the traps that I use so the
trap cards that I pretty much use is
pretty much just to defend these guys so
i can bring out dark magician and dark
magician girl that's pretty much what
the objective is of this deck is to be
able to summon dark magician and the
Dark Magician girls so some of the defense
trap cards that i use is I run one mirror
wall one of these cards because what
this card does is if they destroy one of
my monsters you activate it and you get
to select and destroy one of their monsters
too so this is pretty much good too you
want to have two magicians circle now
this card's really really good too
because when a spellcaster Type monster
declares an attack you get to special
summon one spellcaster Type monster with
2,000 or less attack from your deck so
you activate that card and that card
brings out dark magician girl you can
special summon her without any tributes
so i recommend running at least two of
these or you can bring out any of your
level 4 stars too if you don't have dark
magician girl in your deck but i really
recommend this in this deck and then I
run one reinforcement just to defend and one
trap jammer just in case they use mirror
wall or they use reinforcements
I can always counter that so yeah this
is pretty much what the deck looks like
I tried it out in the platinum and the
gold ranks but i don't really recommend
this deck for competitive battling
because I i don't know i just kind of
built this deck for the fun of it and
I used it and its a really fun deck to use so
i recommend you guys trying it out
and yeah with that being said this
