Hey, creator.

If you're seeing this for the first time, which I assume is the reason why you're watching

this or you've stumbled upon this, let me introduce myself.

My name is Ewen, and what exactly I do here is: I believe that if each of us decides to

grow our fulfilment in our life and commits to that decision, while also respecting others

and their values, we'll be able to live in peace, or we will live in peace.

I think that if we focus on ourselves and our growth and stop trying to control or manipulate

others to conform to our values, then we'll all find our own personal tranquility, which

will ultimately help us to live in peace.

And how I help people grow their fulfilment in their life is helping them grow their understanding

of life and grow their understanding of themselves.

And I can do this by creating content, like short films, films in general, books, vlogs

even, blogs, that's one way.

The other way is I consult.

I help you, much like this where I can talk to you one-on-one, sort of, in a way or in

person, where I can talk about life and business and relationships, really any aspect of life

to help people grow their understanding of life and grow their understanding of themselves.

Now I say all this and the truth is I can't tell you to do something.

I don't believe in that, I don't believe that I am the guy that has the answers to life,

I don't believe in such a thing and I'm not going to make you conform or try and manipulate

you to my values because that's going to contradict everything, and I just think it's wrong and

unfair.

So everything that I propose comes from a really strong belief that I think it can work

for you and I think that a lot of the stuff that I do propose, you can just simply pluck

out and apply it to your life.

So, yeah, I guess that's it for this video.

Belly dancing is very spiritual for me,

It's like a connection with God

There is nothing I can do nothing in my life right now, except for belly dance.

I've been dancing for years

I have learnt classical dance forms like Kathak

Folk dances like Ghoomar, Kalbelia.

But when I learnt this art form, belly dancing

I found a way to express myself

Belly dance makes me unique

It made me bold, confident, and gave me an immense pleasure

That I couldn't get from any other dance form

I used to follow Illan Rivière

Illan is a very beautiful male belly dancer from France

And there was one more dancer from Egypt called Jamil

And finally I saw Meher Malik on television

And I thought 'Oh my God, finally an Indian who is doing proper belly dance'

This is what I tell them in their first class

That it is important to respect your body before anything else

But when the students are learning, they are not comfortable with their bodies

Belly dancing is a very westernized term for the original form called Raks Sharqi

Male belly dance have been there since the very beginning

There were lots of men, because it was a taboo for women to go out and perform belly dance

Dance is not defined by genders but is defined by the body

The strength you need in this is very masculine

But yes it comes naturally to a woman's body, because women naturally have broad hips

Men need to work a lot on their technique, shibil, maya, takseem etc.

It's not impossible for men.

Usually all the male dancers used to tell us, that we saw Eshan

We saw his video on Tujhe Dekha Toh Yeh Jaana Sanam, last year and he inspired us

When I was a kid, I wanted to be choreographer, my father would demean me

Saying that we belong to the class where we get entertained and not entertain others

He called me a buffoon

He used to beat me a lot, once he even gave me a fracture,

I had to go to a hospital, I even ran away from home.

In our social class, dancing for men is a taboo

We usually fight about this at home

Belly dance is a women's dance

On the stage it is not their son, but an embarrassment that's dancing

By the grace of Allah, I have read the Quran

There were times when I would pray five times a day

But I feel prayer should be for yourself.

It shouldn't be for show

I belong to a small city, my parents are supportive

I didn't know what belly dancing was, but if he wanted to do it, I let him do it

There was a time I was very shy and gawky

I couldn't even talk to people, not even firm handshakes

But now I'm bold enough to lift my t-shirt and dance anywhere

The dance has taken over me and now I cannot leave it

I'm not good at belly dancing

I am trying to carve my own existence

I am trying to explore myself, where I am and what I can achieve

Little Ski Adventurer I VAUDE - Duration: 4:03.

Wherever I am, I always want to go up.

I don't know why, but I always want to see the view from up there.

It draws me.

In the mountain we go through utmost adventures.

This rare intensity is hard to experience elsewhere.

-And now, you clip. -Now I clip?

-Yes, Push it right. There you go!

Bringing with me novices,

to introduce them to this whole universe,

makes me see the mountain differently.

I take my time.

Reaching the summit is not as important...

as the path itself.

And you don't need to go far.

It begins at our own doors, behind our home.

The Aravis, the Bauges…

-Turn right your skis in the track!

It's getting better and better!

I want to show my son

that nothing can be bought here.

We climb because it's here.

There are sunsets and sunrises.

Dazzling starry nights...

Those moments are etched in our mind for a long time.

I never look at the mountain from a performance perspective.

I am not a Ueli Steck, or a Kílian Jornet.

I am more into sharing my experience.

I like to take with me relatives.

And live simple or quiet adventures.

A pleasant evening together.

A nice day in the mountain.

No laptop, no console to bother you!

As our great alpinist Christine Janin said:

"Everyone has their own Everest"

When my son climbs up mountains on ski,

it's a nice little victory for him.

I am glad he made it to the top.

I am glad to see him smiling.

Despite the efforts.

He is happy.
