Liverpool sit three points clear at the top of the Premier League having lost just one league match all season

And yet it feels like their title challenge is on the brink of collapse.  The Reds had the opportunity to go seven points clear of Manchester City seven days ago

But after draws to Leicester and West Ham, they face the possibility of being second in the table come 10pm Wednesday night

Injuries haven't been kind to Jurgen Klopp's side.  Against West Ham on Monday, Liverpool's injury-list contained Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Dejan Lovren, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Georginio Wijnaldum

It left Klopp having to field a midfield three of Fabinho, Naby Keita and Adam Lallana

It was Lallana's first Premier League start since October and he faded as the match went on

Fabinho was solid in the defensive midfield role as he continues to adapt to Liverpool's style of play

Then there's Keita.  Klopp and Liverpool were so desperate to sign the midfielder from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2017 that they agreed a deal for twelve months time when it became clear the Bundesliga side wouldn't sell

And some would argue that the club are still waiting for him to arrive.  Keita has struggled with injuries and hasn't been able to put a string of good performances together

And he received plenty of criticism for his latest display during the 1-1 draw against the Hammers

However, a video has now emerged of his second-half performance.  Granted, his play before the break wasn't up to scratch considering Liverpool paid £48 million for him

But after half-time, he was Liverpool's brightest player. He ran with the ball, beat players and looked to create opportunities for his side

And a compilation of his second-half performance shows just that. Take a look:  And after seeing the video, Liverpool fans are encouraged by Keita's positive display:  Perhaps the critics should lay off Keita a bit

Of course, Liverpool fans would have been expecting to see a bit more of him during this debut campaign but there have been promising signs

Prior to the West Ham draw, his manager insisted that, while he's pleased with Keita's progress, there's still plenty more to come

"Yeah, happy so far but still a lot to come," said Klopp. "Naby is an outstanding player but he still has to improve; minutes, games, language, all that stuff

"Everything will be fine, and it is fine so far, but we can really expect a lot more still, that's how it is
