Home Remodel 1-19 video 1 - Duration: 1:49.

Hi my name is Dan Grondin from Grondin Builders out of Tolland Ct we're doing a

house remodel on Coventry Lake and I'm going to walk you through the first

phase of this we're gonna make a couple short videos and you'll follow us from

start to finish through the end on Facebook okay the first step is to come

in and demo we are doing all new insulation here new walls we're gonna

make a new cathedral ceiling out of this so the first steps to doing that is we

have to strip back all the old paneling we have to remediate all the drywall at

the same time it's got black mold on it so we have to have a remediation company

come in and and get rid of that safely also we're removing all the old

insulation and we're going to be replacing that with new insulation we

have our kitchen over here which we had demolished and we're gonna be putting a new

kitchen in we're going to be adding a bedroom over on this other side over

here but the first step is to just remove the wall paneling expose all the

existing framing rework the electrical rework the plumbing reinsulate it we're

also going to be removing the floors in here and so I mean this floor goes all

over the place so what we're gonna need to do is straighten all the floor joists

we're gonna have to put all new floor joists in and I'll show you what that

looks like in a up and coming video also all the baseboards got to go while that's

got to get reworked all the window trim it's fairly extensive in here I mean

we've got this interlocking cardboard paneling ceiling it's also got drywall

behind it and what's left of the old insulation up there so all that has to

go and we're gonna frame in and make a cathedral ceiling in here so stay tuned

No. Today I present a freakshow.

Imagine, you work in the circus. Your dad exploits you.

You have to clean shit all day. Others get all the attention.

Also, you have crab claws for hand.

Of course, this situation will completely escalate in our fantasy/horror film Killer Carnival.

My name is Benjamin van den Dool. I am the writer and director of this story.

With this movie I hope to graduate from the Academy of the Arts Utrecht.

Danny Heijnekamp will produce the movie, but with an empty piggy-bank even this hero will not get far.

Fortunately, we have already assembled a large part of our crew.

Among others, Rob Hillenbrink from Rob's Propshop, known for the movies Sint and Prooi.

He also created Mr. Goat's mask.

We are negotiating with experienced teams to realise the stunts and visual effects necessary to tell this story.

We hope to shoot this movie in April. To make this a reality we need your help.
