PowerDVD introduces a great feature that's going to change the way you watch YouTube videos.

The "Pin to videos" feature lets you store any YouTube video in your locale cache

What does this mean for you?

Firstly, it means that you can watch any YouTube video that you've pinned

whether you're connected to the internet or not.

and you never have to worry about slow buffering or stuttering playback.

And secondly, it means you can apply several of PowerDVD's playback technologies

like TrueTheater HD, TrueTheater Lighting & TrueTheater 3D

to YouTube videos to instantly enhance their quality.

As well as being able to enjoy the benefits of being able to fast-forward through parts of videos,

or even watch them in slow motion.

How to pin a video

By signing into your YouTube account through PowerDVD

any of these videos can be pinned so you can enjoy them anytime you want in better quality.

To pin a YouTube video, simply mouseover a thumbnail and click on the "Pin" icon that pops up.

All your pinned items can be found in the "Pin to video" section.

AudioDirector - Spatial Audio Editing for 360º Video | CyberLink - Duration: 1:48.

To enable spatial audio editing for 360-videos,

click on the 'Mix' tab and select the first icon

to 'configure audio profile settings'.

In the pop-up menu, select 'Spatial Audio' under 'Channels' setting.

Import a 360-video into your media library,

and drag the clip onto an audio track.

Next, enable 360-viewer mode by clicking on the 360 icon.

Then play the video clip to determine the audio adjustments,

you would like to make.

You can edit and correct the sound source according to the preview.

Next, click on the '360' icon to access the 'Spatial Audio Panner'

This allows users to alter the perceived sound source,

by adjusting the direction, elevation and volume of the audio.

Set the direction of the sound source by rotating

the round toggle on the 'Azimuth' dial.

Set the perceived height of the sound source by scrolling up

or down the elevation bar.

You can also adjust the volume with the 'Output Gain' slider.
