Are you ready? We have a brand new feature to showcase today: Stoneheart Castle.
We're going to list off 6 reasons why you'll love it. Let's go!
New Stoneheart Buildings, Lost Arts, powerful Units, and new Battlegrounds.
After unlocking your Stoneheart Castle, you will be granted access to a brand new area – a second Castle to build and develop.
You will be able to switch between your two Castles by clicking a new button on your Castle interface. Effortless!
To get started, you will need to reach Level 60, win at a Level 40 Battleground,
and discover the Dragon's Egg, Black Star, and Level 5 to 10 Fortifications Lost Arts.
After that, you will be the Lord or Lady of two Castles – and your responsibilities double as well as the fun.
You can construct and upgrade new Stoneheart Buildings, discover Stoneheart Lost Arts, learn and master the abilities of powerful Stoneheart Units,
and challenge yourself at Stoneheart Battlegrounds and new Saga Quests.
That's a lot to take in, but this is only point one!
So, to point 2. Let's be honest – we all love new Units. Let's take a closer look at Stoneheart Units and what they do.
Stoneheart Units will be available to you after you have unlocked your Stoneheart Castle. They are special for two reasons:
- They are effective in both offensive and defensive battles
- Secondly, they have special Abilities they have a chance of activating. When activated, they provided significant combat bonuses
They seem pretty strong, right? There's 4 new Unit types and all have their own different Abilities.
You can look out for Purgators (Infantry Units), Beast Riders (Cavalry Units), Living Armor (Occult Units), and Gargoyles (Bestiary Units).
Stoneheart Units also gain a 20% stat advantage in battles against non-Stoneheart Units. Crush any unprepared opposition!
Point 3! Stoneheart Abilities.
We have already mentioned that each type of Stoneheart Unit has its own set of Abilities – two,
to be precise, one for Offensive battles and the other for Defensive.
The probability of a Stoneheart Unit Ability affecting the battle depends on its Activation Chance.
The higher the Activation Chance, the more likely it is that the Ability will be activated.
A rule of thumb to remember is that the higher the number of the same Stoneheart Unit type you send,
the more likely it is that their Unit Ability will activate.
You can increase the Activation Chance of an Ability by upgrading the corresponding Stoneheart Lost Art.
Let's take a look at an example – Sorcery Shield. This is an Ability of Beast Rider Units.
This Ability helps to soften the blow of enemy Sorcery Spells.
When activated, you will lose fewer Units when you are attacked with a Wrath of Weor.
You can upgrade the Stoneheart Lost Art for this Ability to increase the percentage of saved Units.
Additionally, this Ability has a chance of activating both at your Castle and at an allied Castle where you have stationed Reinforcements.
In the future, you can become powerful enough to save all of your Units with this Ability… But you will have to look out for this knowledge in a future update!
So, let's move on to what else is new – there is a brand new Resource that will also be available once you unlock your Stoneheart Castle.
It's called Adamantine, and it's unique to this new area.
Adamantine is required for training Stoneheart Units, constructing and upgrading Stoneheart Buildings, and discovering Stoneheart Lost Arts.
You can start collecting it in the following ways:
- From Adamantine Forges - As a Reward for completing Stoneheart Battlegrounds
- Purchasing Adamantine Packs at the Black Market - Grabbing it from Offers
That's it for Adamantine for now, so… What's a big update without new achievements?
There's two Stoneheart League achievements that you can now earn alongside your fellow Lords and Ladies. They are:
- Stoneheart Legends. This Reward is earned by training Stoneheart Units.
- Stoneheart Battleground Masters. This is earned for attacking or defending Stoneheart Battlegrounds.
To end this update with a bang, this is point 6 on why you'll love this update… a new type of PvE Location, Stoneheart Battlegrounds.
Stoneheart Battlegrounds pit your Stoneheart Units against Balur's forces across Darkshine.
The Units you will face are different to those found at regular Battlegrounds, so check their statistics and plan your strategy carefully.
You can progress through Stoneheart Battlegrounds like regular Battlegrounds.
Firstly, you must complete the highest available Level of Stoneheart Battleground,
and then after a certain number of Levels you must complete a Stoneheart Saga Quest.
Saga Quests are the greatest challenge, so prepare accordingly!
This is all just a bit of insight into this huge update.
