This is Felicia. Felicia is a singer-songwriter. Today is
a big day for Felicia. She's shooting her
latest music video.
Felicia's hopes are really high. This
might be her big break to worldwide fame!
Felicia has been practicing for weeks.
She's got her moves down perfectly. All
that's missing now is a fitting
hairstyle, but time is running out. What
can she do? There's only one chance: get
Mario the Hair Fixer. Mario to the rescue!
All he needs is a tail comb, sectioning
clips, a teasing comb, a teasing brush, zip
ties, small sectioning clips, hairspray,
scissors, bobby pins, setting clips, and a
large curling iron.
The hair is lightly styled beforehand
with a large curling iron. Using a tail
comb, the Hair Fixer now separates a
section of hair above the ear toward the
nape and pins up the upper layer with a
sectioning clip. He combs back the lower
section with a teasing brush to create a
small ponytail at the nape, which he then
ties in the middle along the hairline
with a zip tie. Now he releases the
section up top. He separates a triangular
section along the temple, which he then
brushes back tautly toward the back of
the head. Time for another zip tie. He
makes a deep part and separates a
section at the top, coiling and pinning
it with a small sectioning clip. Now it's
time to put the zip ties to use on the
second side. Again, he separates a
triangular section from the other side
of the head and combs it back tautly
with the teasing brush. Zip ties and some
hairspray to set, and the ends of the zip
ties are ready to be cut. He takes the
strand, teases it lightly with a teasing
comb, and pins it the way it naturally
falls behind the ear with bobby pins and
some hairspray. He pulls the strand apart
lightly, drapes it over the nape, and
holds it in place with small sectioning
clips.
Next, the Hair Fixer separates a section
near the crown of the head, teases it
lightly, smoothes a strand back with a
teasing brush, arranges the hair over the
zip ties, and secures it with bobby pins.
He then tucks the end below the
gathered strand underneath. Now he
loosens the section at the top of the
head, drapes it down naturally, and pins
it with setting clips. He then twists the
ends into a chignon and secures it with
bobby pins. The front section is combed
back the same way and secured. Pull it up
a bit and add hairspray. Now to finish,
tease these strands in the ponytail at
the nape a little and bring it all into
form. Finally, remove the clips and your
zip tie look is complete. Now for some
fabulous makeup, perfect for the camera.
Add a rockin' outfit and ready to go! This
style has it all: a mix of chic
understatement and hip Brit style, just
perfect. This way Felicia can steal the
