How To Have BETTER YouTube VIDEOS! - TIPS FOR SMALLER YOUTUBERS! - Duration: 8:35.

You want to find the best quality settings for your YouTube videos you've come to the right place in this video

I'm gonna be showing you the best settings for your YouTube videos and to get that cinematic clean

Look roll the intro

You don't know the right shutter speed or the right FPS that you need to use in your films or videos

This graph will show you in North America

You want to be using 60 Hertz 30fps or 160 now that's recommended. You don't have to use it. But in my

preferences and my using of filmmaking and

Video I use the film style 120 fps and one fiftieth of a second any higher than that

The lights if you have box lights or anything like that

They will start flickering like even though that they're not in frame if they're shining on you. The lights will start flickering

So if you want a good FPS

And a good shutter speed to start out with I suggest a film style look

24 FPS to one fiftieth of a second the next tip I'm going to be showing you is

The correct picture style that you want to be using want the best footage possible. So on post-production

you're going to want to color grade and

Anything like that to put off a certain vibe of your video if it's an uplifting

Video a funny video you want to use warm tones like orange?

red

yellow

Anything like that?

But if you're shooting a short film and it's a depressing

Like sad story and you want to show that in your film you're gonna put blue tones purple anything like that?

I'll be uploading a video on how to do that and

Showing the mood of your film or video in

post-production so

Since you want to start color grading you want to go onto your camera

If you're not gonna user I'll be showing a Canon version in a bit

So if you're a Nikon user you want to go into your shooting menu

profile

picture profiles and

Choose neutral if you have settings already for that reset it and these are the things that you want to put in

These will give you the best results if you're used

for sharpening

Since you're just doing YouTube videos you're going to leave that at the default outside of YouTube

You're going to put that all the way down

Otherwise, it will be over sharpened for a contrast you to turn that all the way down

Basically, what contrast does is that it if?

You turn it all the way up is that it makes the highlights in the whites brighter and the shadows

Darker, so since you're shooting in like low light situations

Maybe possibly or you have box lights. You still want to turn that all the way down to get a better?

Result in post-production when you cover it for saturation

You don't want to touch brightness for saturation. You want to turn that two notches down. It's at the default

You want to go want to turn that two notches down?

for hue

since

Cameras, nowadays know what skin tones look like you don't want to mess with that

so now you're done with the picture profile on to the aperture a preview of

the Canon picture profile settings just go back and listen to what I said on the Nikon version and

Put those settings onto the Canon version. You still want to go on neutral onto the aperture a

image of the aperture it goes from left to right so in photography, like I said in my last video

1.4 is a higher number

The reason for that is because if you look at all these other circles that have a black inner

Circle around them means that they're covering most of the light the higher you go up the more the less light

gets into the camera sensor

but the only reason people go up lower to like a

5.6 a f11 f-16 f/32 the reason why people go up to those is to get a sharper image

So if you're shooting a video you either want to use a

Aperture of 1.4 if you have a prime lens

but if you still have a kit lens and what I said in my last video a kit lens is basically the

Lens that you bought your camera with. It doesn't have much capability. So

Go on your app

farm where your aperture settings is see the highest number it can go which is 1.4 if they can only go to

3.5 use the aperture for 3.5 or

5.6 when doing video

on to the ISO

Usually with ISO the camera only goes to a hundred which is the lowest it can go

for certain cameras

ISO will go to like 50 maybe even lower but my camera goes to a hundred and I think it goes to

25

25600

Which is like the left the right last one on this graph

But with ISO depending on your scenery

You're usually gonna use a ISO of a hundred

But like I said in my last video

ISO is the one last saying that you want to check

Because on this graph you can see that the ISO

100 is clear

ISO

200 is clear and then by 400 and 800 it starts to get grainy and you don't want that to happen

so with iya so I would suggest sticking between

ISO 100 and 200 that's just my preference

But I know this video wasn't like detailed. I tried recording with my camera and

showing you like visual

detail, but this is just my video and my

Explanation you can watch other videos on YouTube

They may go more in depth to explaining it, but I tried my best I may make a updated video

But I hope you guys liked it if you liked it smash. All right down below
