In today's video i'm gonna go over five creative video ideas
that you're probably not using in your business already.
And make sure to stay tuned, because at the end i'm gonna throw in a bonus,
If you haven't done so already, hit that subscribe button.
And don't forget to hit the bell for notifications.
The first idea is video email signatures.
A lot of us have great email signatures consisting of links and graphics.
But during a quick video on the end, telling a little about yourself.
is a great idea.
Just, don't make it too long. Make it about 30 seconds to a minute.
Make sure it's just kind of an intro video so that people know who you are.
The next idea is inviting someone to connect on social.
Now i actually am very active on linkedin.
So i made up one called,
'Let's connect on linkedin'.
Then i made up a second one for people who
asked to connect to me.
Kind of as a 'Thank you'.
Let me show you those real quick.
And you can do this with any social media.
If you want to add somebody as a friend
On facebook
If you want to ask somebody to follow you on twitter.
Just make a cute little video. Don't make it very long. Mine is only 44 seconds.
And it's a very original way to reach out to people.
Now this is one that i send out when i want somebody to connect with me on linkedin.
I have it as an unlisted video.
So it doesn't show up on my channel.
But i can easily grab the link,
and paste it in a linkedin connection request.
And that's the video they see when i reach out to them.
Now, i made up a slightly different one for when somebody
asks me to connect.
I just titled it, 'Thanks for the connection request'.
And it's only 30 seconds long.
I went ahead and kept with the same style and my brand colors.
So that they would be consistent with my brand.
Now you notice in this one,
the difference is I
put my name and what i do at the end.
That wasn't the main focus of it
Because these people to connect with me, have already gone to my profile,
so they've already seen my name, they've
seen what i do, they saw a summary.
So they already have some idea of who I am.
So basically i'm just
thanking them for reaching out to me. And thanking them for wanting to connect with me.
Whereas in the one where i reached out
to them first, I made sure to put who i am and what i do at the very first of that video.
And it doesn't have to be really fancy.
It's just a great way to stand out.
The next video i'm going to mention is
'Processes for training'.
Now when it comes to processes for training, i actually use Loom.
I record things that i do frequently, over and over, a repetitive task.
In case i decide to hire somebody to do that for me.
That way i already have a video showing them how to do that.
As you can see, I made a folder here in Loom called 'For VA'.
And every Thursday morning, when my video launches, I have a process.
And so i have an eight-minute video here,
that shows the process that i go through every Thursday morning.
So here on Loom,
I can just take and make a copy of this.
To share either on Slack, I can share it in Trello,
put it in an onboarding process for a client.
I can actually send the link to particular people
So this is not a public video, but it's public if they have the link.
Let me give you an idea of what it looks like.
So that gives you an idea of how i do my systems.
Now that's the only one i have right now.
But in the future, when i start different systems, I can create
several different Loom videos on here.
Just to have in case I hire somebody to do something for me.
That way they already have a process, and i just share the link with them.
Similar to this, but a little bit different, is 'Client onboarding instructions.
Now, for client onboarding i also use Loom.
And i have a separate folder for clients.
Now, in here I may make personal ones depending on each client that i'm working with.
But, a lot of them will need the same instructions.
Like to add me as an admin on their Facebook page,
to add me as a manager on YouTube.
I've already got the one made up for adding me as a manager on YouTube, so let me show you that one.
Once they have come on board, and have hired me,
I would send them to links to these little videos.
So that they could quickly learn how to add me. Here's the manager one.
And that's basically an example of how you can use video
to help with your client onboarding process.
Another type of video is 'Thank-you notes and Welcome emails'.
Thank-you notes and welcome emails is a great place to put a video.
And you can use several different processes for this. You can either have one already made up.
But i would actually suggest using Loom again.
When you're using Loom to send a video, you actually can do
a screen and cam capture,
you can do screen share only
or you can use cam only.
You can have it do your full desktop,
or you can have it do just a tab.
Loom is very super convenient.
And i'm going to post a link to Loom down below that you can use.
And as i promised, I've got a little bonus here those were the top five.
And the next one i have for you is to make a six second bumper ad.
A lot of people don't realize it,
but not too long ago,
YouTube rolled out the ability to make
bumper ads that are not skippable.
Having a six second bumper,
even if you're not going to use it to advertise on YouTube,
is still a great idea for social media.
Let me show you some of the demo ones in this ad right here.
All of these videos are only six seconds long.
You have six seconds to make an impression.
And with people short attention span, this is a great way to catch attention.
So that's an idea of, how you can make a six-second bumper that really stands out.
People will look at it and,
they don't have time to click away because they only have six seconds.
So that is a great way for you to
get your message out there. Get it out there fast.
I hope that that inspired you to
get creative and see what you can do with yours.
If you need more inspiration,
you can jump on YouTube and put in six second bumper ad.
And you can catch a whole lot of them.
if you have some more great ideas on how to use video,
that you think are rather unusual and not being done for business,
