My name is Kevin Gutierrez, I've been living with roommates for the past year

which is nice to save up for a while but eventually gets a little old. I wanted a

little bit more privacy, a little more peace and quiet, so I figure it's time to

get my own place. I've actually known Mike for a long time, we used to work

together, many years ago, and I have several friends that work with us as

well, and I talked to them they all had really good experiences with him, a lot

of good things to say, so I figured I might as well go with somebody that is

experienced, and that I know, to make me feel more comfortable. He's actually been

awesome in the beginning when we were looking at places I had no idea what I

was doing, what I should be looking for. He kind of indulged me a little bit he

said we'll go see whatever you want we'll get a better idea and then after

that throughout the whole process he was just super helpful, very responsive every

time I needed something you know my 10:00 p.m. emails he would get back to

me and answer all my crazy questions and everything, but yeah, he was just

incredibly helpful the entire time made me feel better and more confident about

the whole process because it is quite a lot, it's very overwhelming, especially

for a first-time buyer like myself so he was he was awesome the entire time. 3

words for Mike, I would say definitely reliable, I would say knowledgeable,

and just very helpful overall whatever I needed he was there for me. I would say

that definitely if anybody's looking to buy a home for the first time

Mike's your guy I mean he'll, he'll help you whether your experienced, whether

you're a beginner like me he's been doing it for a while I've only ever

heard positive things about the guy myself included so I definitely

recommend him.

When you're planning events and recruiting new members

There are a lot of great free resources at UNC that you can use

RSo's can post flyers on any public bulletin board at UNC

Make sure the name of your group is clearly visible or else UNC facility staff may remove your flyers

You can also post flyers in residence halls

If you'd like to post flyers there contact the housing and residential education office in Toby Kendall Hall

They will make sure the flyer meets the resident's hall

Posting requirements and let you know how many Flyers it will take to get coverage in all residence halls

All your group needs to do is count out your flyers and drop them off in the housing and residential education office

They'll put them up for you

the Office of Student Life offers free graphic design services for RSO's

Our marketing specialists can create a custom design to fit your needs

to request graphic design services visit the office of student organizations

website and click on the resources tab

Our marketing specialist needs at least three weeks notice to deliver your design. So please plan ahead

In-person recruiting is also a good way to get new members

Generally, you can recruit in any public area outside of an academic building as long as it does not disrupt the university's regular functions

Or impede access to walkways if you plan on recruiting in the UC or in the McKee breezeway

You must reserve the space through the conference and event services office ahead of time
