Good morning, I'm
representative Leal Alston running for the State Senate in LD 24. As a
teacher and current board member I am
Incredibly proud of what has happened this legislative session. We have seen a historic
moment --make that moments-- in Arizona history. We have been
thankful because you the teachers, the supporters, the parents, the students have been there in
an incredible effort in which you have had major
risk to your own well-being and probably your own health. Being out there in those heat
driven days. We appreciate your support.
You are the wind beneath our wings.
And I want to recognize our running mate John Glenn, who has been working tirelessly
behind the scenes to help us have a better educational system in Arizona.
And I when I think you Representative a Alston and Representative Clark for your hours of service. You work very hard to get an
exceptional job over the course of the last tireless 48 hours.
I want to take this opportunity say we've got to keep this red for red movement going,
both through the summer and into the fall in terms of referring this initiative to the ballots and as well as
we have some more challenges coming forward in next legislative session is going to need to clean up.
I was certainly working this week behind the scenes in terms of trying to curtail some of the school procurement with school facilities,
that is really bad in this particular bill. And as an architect,
I think I bring that expertise to the table and we very much relish in the opportunity of next January
trying to clean some of this stuff up. Yeah, and we are very excited about this summer.
We want to offer our campaign
team and our
supporters and our infrastructure
to help the red for ed movement.

every Saturday, and then we're gonna expand that now. We're gonna be knocking on doors and talking to folks.
We're going to help red for ed get those petitions and get the initiative on the ballot for more
