Samson, templar fame

raise your shield of shame

Samson's letter caught

left unfought, defamed

Armor laced with blood

shall reclaim his name

Samson's broken heart

shall revoke his claim

Samson, knight in red

he hath lost his way

Samson's martyr rage

soon the world will pay

Do not eat that lyrium.

Do— no, no.

Do not— if you eat that red lyrium I swear to the Maker—

Do not— don't—

A video for super Yellows! Become a great leader 2018 - Duration: 13:44.

hi team so this is the second video in my series about the four color

personalities of MLM by big al' schreiter in the first video I talked

about super Reds and how their lack of yellow might be holding them back in

this video I'm going to be talking about super yellows and how the lack of red

might be an obstacle that they need to overcome so really really briefly I'm

gonna summarize the four colors we have our Reds who are ambitious driven by

money love rewards and recognition you have your yellows who love to help

people they're nurture as they love building community blues love a party

they love new experiences meeting new people adventure anything with the word

fun in and then you have your greens who love information they love learning new

things they love a spreadsheet and they're driven by learning so usually

people aren't one color usually they fit across a few a few of them if not all of

them but most people are dominant in one color the problem comes when they are

overly dominant in a color so in my last video I said that I attract a lot of

reds to my team I would say that after Red's the color I attract the most of is

our yellows and these women are some of them nicest people that I have ever had

the privilege to meet they're amazing friends they're incredible listeners

they're great at building community they take such a genuine interest in other

people and they tend to be problem solvers so genuinely some of the

sweetest people I've ever met but sometimes you can have too much of a

good thing so there are things that hold our super yellows back and that's what

I'm going to be talking about today okay so first of all let's talk about that

insatiable desire to be liked and loved and approved of by everybody a very

yellow trait don't get me wrong it is important to

build relationships and to be liked by people but when I think back over the

years and all of the self development that I've read on my journey on success

mindset and poor they talk about people like JK

rowling and Abraham Lincoln and Colonel Sanders and the Beatles they came up

against so much rejection so much disapproval so many cynics so many

naysayers but the one thing they did have was the absolute strength of their

convictions in the belief in their products or service so in any business

but you choose to do not just ours you need that that assurance that certain

level of self approval as opposed to others approval from others so the truth

is you are gonna come up against people who who nay say and who are cynical and

who come up with the old pyramid scheme argument it's a natural part of our

business you cannot please 100 percent of people 100 percent of the time you

could be the kindest sweetest most loving person in the world and you will

still have people not like you because you're too sweet so you can't be

everybody's cup of tea there is one person that you can please 100 percent

of the time and that is you so as long as you're enjoying your journey and you

like what you doing you're not hurting anybody then fill your boots I say so

the next area in which our super yellows can improve is on being an extreme

empath to the point where you're more of a counselor or a therapist thing you are

a business mentor it's not our job to solve people's personal problems it

really isn't and by focusing all the time on what's going on in people's

lives sometimes it can be so so draining for you this is so emotionally draining

but also all you're doing is encouraging your team to focus on areas that they

don't want to grow it's not our job to be a counselor it's our job to help

people forward with the business which in turn is going to help them with their

personal life now don't get me wrong I don't brush off people's problems the

last thing that I want is for people to feel like I don't

care about them that's the last thing I want but at the same time I'm not truly

helping them by helping them by letting them focus on their problems I would be

far better as a sponsor to help them focus on solutions so there's a saying

encouraged the behavior you don't want to ignore and ignore the behaviors you

don't want to encourage so if people come to me moaning about little things

or complaining about things in their life they come to me with the usual

excuses I tend to not go back with very very quickly or with very long answers

and eventually people get the message that that's not what I'm there for

however if people come to me with genuine business questions that I can do

something about and I can help I will give them all the time in the world so

ignore the behavior you don't want to encourage and encourage the behavior you

don't want to ignore next up is leadership guilds so this is a real

problem for super yellows because yellows believe that everybody in their

team is gonna promote it's gonna hit like status everybody's working hard

putting their all into it and so they give us their time unquestioningly and

they're not selective of who they work with whether or not that person deserves

their time and in some cases whether or not that person even wants their time

and so when people don't promote and they're not moving forward the yellow

takes it really personally and they feel like it's a reflection on their

leadership skills and on something that that they are doing wrong and it shakes

their belief and it puts them off building so here's what I have to say to

that for me I have a lot of successful ladies in my team and I don't look at my

purples and my blacks and think that with me I'm responsible for their

success so if that's true if I'm not responsible for their success then how

can I be responsible for someone's failure we're all self-employed business

women we all come into this with the same tools the same pricing the same

opportunity and that's just it you know it is an

opportunity not an entitlement and it's down to each individual to make it work

yes we can be there for our team as a mentor and as a and as a coach but at

the end of the day it is down to each individual to make it work for them the

next thing I want to talk about is management mode because yellows feel so

invested in their team and because they feel so responsible for their team and

because they like to nurture and coach so much yellows are at a big risk of

spending the majority of their time talking to their girls one-on-one

coaching doing videos doing lives in their team group and they stop doing the

one activity that is actually going to help them promote within the business

which is recruiting if you build wide depth happens and here's the thing when

you stop recruiting you're not leading by example you're not bringing new

ladies into the team so you're starving your team of energy you're starving your

team of proof that this works you're starving them of seeing success and

building community and you're not showing them how to do it showing them

how to do it people do what you do not what you tell them to do so being in

management mode it's a killer for your business it really is and just think how

many poor people you can help by recruiting more people who deserve your

time and who will meet you halfway another area that holds our yellows back

is they do too much for their team and this can actually stop your team from

becoming the leaders that they're capable of becoming so when your team

come to you and they ask you for the price of something or they ask to help

with a color match or they ask for how to spell taffeta I've had that one

before are you giving them the answer or are you telling them where to find the

answer because what happens if you're being the resource rather than showing

them the resource what they're going to do when they get building their team

they're gonna say to their girls go to my sponsor she always knows the answer

and what's gonna happen is your business is only ever gonna reach as far as your

arms can stretch and that's not very far so it's the old adage you know teach a

man give a man a fish he'll eat for a day teach a man to fish and he'll feed

his family for life and that's what we're doing here we're teaching people

to learn where the resources are and to use them for themselves another bit of

advice that I want to give my yellows is don't be afraid to say no once in a

while yellows hate to say no to people because

they hate to let people down and they want to be everything to everyone all of

the time they want to be the best mum they want to be the best friends they

want to be the best sponsor they want to be the best presenter and you just can't

have it all the one person they tend to forget to look after is themselves but

here's a thing if you're looking after yourself and if you're putting self care

first and filling your cup you actually have more to give to others yellows tend

to be scared to reach up for help and advice and this is something that's so

important in this business you know we all need support we all need to find

people who can mentor us to success in this business and if you're afraid to

reach up because you don't want to bother people then you're missing a

vital part of this business and this is where you can really learn

from the Reds because the Reds don't care they will demand people's attention

sometimes you need to demand success yellows as hard as that comes another

point is that yellows hate hates confrontation and this isn't necessarily

a bad thing when it comes to leadership because yellows make really good

mediators they're really good problem solvers and you see very little drama in

our yellow our teams with the yellow leader so it can be a good thing but

there are certain times in this business when as a leader we have to tell people

where they're going wrong and we have to do it in a certain way and yes we have

to confront them about it we owe it it's our duty as sponsors to show people

where they can improve there's a way of doing it that is called KKK kiss kick

kiss my husband likes to call it a shit sandwich and it's where you give a

compliment then you tell people where they can improve and then you give

another compliment and it's a really sweet way of helping somebody realize

where they're going wrong without it being confrontational so an example of

this would be somebody's posting too much unique branding on their timeline

and they're not sharing enough of themselves I would go to them and I

would say honey I love your enthusiasm I love your excitement for this business

and how much action you're taking I just want to give you a bit of a pointer it's

better to brand yourself than unique people want to get to know you and they

want to get to like know and trust you but you're doing a great job keep going

something like that it's called KKK or a shit sandwich so the other thing that

you can do to avoid confrontation if you really feel like a message needs to be

given and you feel like the person especially if they're rare they're gonna

take it the wrong way sometimes doing a general video that's not pointed at

anybody a general training sometimes does the trick and the final thing that

I want to talk about is the fact that yellows tend to attract women of low

confidence through the attraction marketing that they do on their timeline

so I can always tell a yellow personality's time line because they

talk all about the friendship and the community love they have for each other

and the work they do to build confidence and build people up and it doesn't

matter if you're scared cuz we all look after you whereas if I go into a red

personalities time line they're talking about the perks they're talking about

the results they've had they're talking about their vision how far they're gonna

go with it they've be attract go-getters and people who

you want success and the language is completely different so sometimes I feel

that Reds can yellow up a little bit on their timeline but then the yellows can

also learn a lot from the Reds on how to present the opportunity because you're

going to attract a better quality of people where do you use the language of

a Reds so I hope that helps ladies I hope you've taken something from this as

before if you have please subscribe please share this video with your teams

and I will see you next time when we're going to be talking about the blues

OLS General Teacher's Video Guide for the Erasmus+ OLS language course - Duration: 13:07.

Welcome to the Teacher User Guide for the Erasmus+ OLS.

We designed this video so that you can help Erasmus+ participants with the Erasmus+ Online

Linguistic Support,

also known as, the OLS.

The presentation used in this video is for teacher's use.

As a teacher, you can use this presentation

to explain the different advantages and features

of the Erasmus+ OLS platform to participants in your course.

How long should participants spend on the platform?

When participants first log on to the platform,

they'll be asked to complete a short questionnaire

that will help create their Erasmus+ OLS learning path.

We recommend that students follow the learning path

to maximise their time on the Erasmus+ OLS.

OLS participants should spend around 3 hours per week on the platform.

The learning path will recommend a cycle of:

vocabulary and grammar courses,

news articles

and live coaching.

The courses that your students complete will depend on their answers to the questionnaire.

What can participants find on the language course?

On the Erasmus+ OLS platform, there are four different areas accessible to participants.

Firstly, there are the language courses,

which includes the Vocabulary section

which focuses on developing lexical knowledge and vocabulary

and the Grammar section which is designed to teach and explain the grammar rules in

the language.

There are also other language courses that focus more specifically on professions and

argumentation.

Secondly, if available,

the Live Coaching section contains interactive features

that allow participants to connect with native-speaking tutors,

both in the form of MOOCs, which are 30-minute video lessons,

and tutoring sessions, which are 30-minute online tutorials

that focus on different topics and objectives.

Thirdly, if available,

the Forum is a community where Erasmus+ OLS participants can share

and assist each other in their language and mobility experience.

Finally, if available,

the News section is an excellent way to improve reading and listening comprehension in the

target language.

What can participants find in the Vocabulary Section and how can they use it effectively?

Participants should spend 1 hour a week on this section, which represents 3 to 5 lessons,

depending on the pace of the learner.

Each lesson begins with an "animation".

The objective of each animation is to give participants the opportunity

to develop their active listening comprehension skills.

There is the possibility to turn on subtitles to assist the learner.

The animations provide the context for the language throughout the rest of each lesson.

Tell participants to watch the animations without the subtitles enabled

so that they immerse themselves in the situation.

The accompanying images aid in imagining and developing mental links

between the vocabulary and context.

We suggest that participants watch the animation three times, as follows:

On the first viewing,

participants should immerse themselves in the language without the use of subtitles.

On the second viewing,

participants should focus their attention on

where the characters are situated,

who the characters are and

what the characters are discussing.

Finally, on the third viewing,

tell participants to watch the animation with the subtitles enabled.

Using the subtitles will positively reinforce their listening skills.

After having watched an animation, the objective is to learn the presented vocabulary.

Participants can practise with a variety of exercises to consolidate the lesson's vocabulary.

In the vocabulary section, there is also a broad range of activities available to complete:

There are multiple choice questions where the learner needs

to choose the best answer from a variety of prepared responses.

Also available are gap-fill exercises

which require slightly more independence from the learner,

as they have to write the correct word or phrase in a space.

Another kind of activity is the "drag and drop" exercises.

In these activities, the learner must either reorder the parts of a sentence

or a paragraph or match text with images.

There are also the dictation exercises

which are listening comprehension exercises that participants complete by writing in the

gaps in the text.

These exercises are an excellent opportunity for participants

to improve their detailed listening comprehension skills.

A variety of exercises allows participants to think about their answers in different

and creative ways,

rather than just relying on rote learning or memorisation.

After completing these activities,

participants will receive their results as a percentage.

If a participant receives a score of less than 60%,

it is recommended that they review the animation and complete the activities again.

What will participants find in the Grammar section and how can they use it effectively?

In the Grammar section,

participants will find a comprehensive database of grammar explanations and exercises to help

them at all levels.

The grammar is presented in full immersion so that learners develop their knowledge

without the need to translate.

Immersion also helps develop cognitive links in the target language.

In each section, there is a brief explanation of the grammar rules with clear examples provided

so that the use and context of the grammar will be clearly understood.

Participants can download the grammar explanations and the examples for later reference

by using the link provided on the page.

After each explanation, there are numerous exercises

where participants can put into practice the grammar that was just learnt.

Participants can complete these at their preferred pace,

and if needed, they can refer to the grammar explanation and examples at the beginning

of each section.

What will participants find in the Live Coaching section and how can they use it effectively?

An excellent way to discover the live coaching features is to watch the teasers,

which are available on the European Commission YouTube playlist.

We suggest that you watch these videos with participants in the classroom.

You can access those videos here:

As mentioned earlier, if available,

the live coaching section offers MOOCs, tutoring sessions, and the forum.

You can find all features via the "Live Coaching" tab of the OLS language course platform.

Erasmus+ OLS MOOCs are educational and interactive video sessions,

given by native-speaking tutors.

These MOOCs are available at three levels: A, B and C,

and cover a variety of different topics relevant to participant needs.

If participants are looking for an even wider range of videos,

they can always navigate to the MOOC library.

This section contains every MOOC ever broadcasted.

Participants can choose videos targeted at either their level or their interests.

We recommend that participants watch at least one MOOC per week.

By using the MOOC library, learners can view MOOCs at their pace,

pausing and stopping to take notes where necessary.

Then, there are the tutoring sessions which are online lessons

that take place face-to-face with native-speaking tutors.

Erasmus+ OLS participants receive one token to spend on tutoring sessions

for every two weeks of their mobility.

Tutoring sessions, therefore, are an excellent opportunity to learn

with well-qualified and supportive tutors in real time.

Each session is personalised, fun and exciting

so it's important that participants take full advantage of this feature!

The last tool on the live coaching section is the forum.

In this learning community, participants can have discussions about their mobility language

with a native-speaking tutor and other users of the Erasmus+ OLS.

Tutors will respond to all questions on the forum within 24 hours,

so an answer is never far away.

Participants can also share their knowledge,

help others and open up new topics to discuss.

What can participants find in the News Section and how can they use it effectively?

If available, the news section is another excellent tool to use.

This module is updated daily in English or weekly in other languages.

Learning is always more enjoyable when exposed to a variety of videos and texts.

Participants can access these features by clicking on "article of the day" for English

or "article of the week" in other languages.

There is also the "video of the day" in English

and "video of the week" in other languages.

The news section has two subsections; "articles" and "videos".

All of the articles and videos ever published are available by clicking on "all articles"

and "all videos".

An excellent tool to use in the article section is the "dictionary".

The dictionary tool allows participants to click on words in the article to show the

definition.

A "quiz" is also available, enabling participants to test their understanding of the articles

and videos

that they just read or watched.

How can I ensure that participants use the platform effectively?

On the participant's home screen, the time they spent studying the language

is displayed in total and also for the current month.

This information can be helpful, as you can check

how much time a participant has spent on the platform in total.

What can participants find about their profession?

One of the value-added aspects of the Erasmus+ OLS is

that there is specific content targeted at those with different needs.

On the Erasmus+ OLS there are some sections dedicated to specific professions.

As mentioned earlier, on the "Language Courses" page, participants will

find courses aimed at different occupations.

There are courses aimed specifically at "Banking", "Meetings" and "Correspondence",

but of significant interest are the "Job Courses".

"Job Courses" aim to provide language to those needing vocabulary in different fields.

These courses range from level B1 to C1 in difficulty, depending on the profession.

If available to the participant, they can access specific MOOCs that cater to their

learning objectives.

There a variety of different themes that are based on subjects at higher education and

professions.

There is also the opportunity to attend the online tutoring sessions,

where it is possible to build on the taught material in the MOOCs.

What should participants do if they have a question?

If participants have a question regarding the language they are learning,

they may use the forum.

If a participant has other questions, they can either consult the user guide

or contact the Erasmus+ OLS technical support team.

We hope that the guide helped you in your task of assisting Erasmus+ OLS participants

and that they, and you, will be able to make the most of the Erasmus+ OLS platform.

Create a More Relevant Video for Your Customer with an Engaging Video Story | Video Making Tips - Duration: 9:20.

- So my private clients and students say that

learning this one thing makes creating

their video content so much easier.

Wanna know what it is?

Stay tuned cause that's coming up next.

Welcome back, it's Tracy Phillips with

videoscriptsuccess.com where I help you

take your brilliant but scattered ideas

and turn them into engaging marketing videos.

So listen, make sure that you hit

the pretty red subscribe button and that notification bell

so that you get notified every time I upload a tip

a trick, or a tool to help you make great online videos.

Today, we're going to talk about your customer journey

because this is the work that you need to do

so that your audience feels like

your speaking directly to them.

You know when you're watching a video and you're like

oh my gosh, she's talking just to me.

That's what we're gonna to do today.

We're going to figure out what we need to do

to make sure your audience feels like they belong.

So here's what we wanna do.

We want to create relevant and engaging videos right

that are made for someone who's

experiencing you for the first time.

So they're experiencing your expertise

for the very first time and that means

you have to put on your newbie shoes right.

So we have to think about

where were they before they found you?

And where they're going to be after they take your program,

buy your product, work with you as a coach right.

And then there are micro steps in between

the before they find you and after they work with you.

And those micro steps are your micro nurture videos.

Ta-da!

But, before I tell you how exactly to do that,

I want to talk about a couple common pitfalls

that happen in the video world.

So the first pitfall is the curse of knowledge

and these are the videos that you see

where their video is created from the perspective of

what you know and not from the perspective of

what your audience needs to know.

Right, these are the videos where you forgot to put yourself

into the newbie shoes and then you end up talking

at your audience and not with them.

Right, so let me give you an example.

I'm gonna show by example of the curse of knowledge.

You're too close, you know too much.

It's not a bad thing, but we have to again

step back and put those newbie shoes on.

So let's say that you are an expert runner.

And you have an eight week, live course

that you're going to run newbie runners.

People who have never run before.

They're overweight, they're out of shape,

their couch potatoes, they have never put on

a pair of sneakers before.

So they know nothing about running.

Right, so when we talk about a nurture sequence,

a nice arc, getting people into that course.

Here's what it should look like.

The first video would of course be what I call

the seeds of change, you're planting the seeds of change.

Running is great for you, it's going to change your life.

You feel like you're out of shape,

you don't know what to do, you're low on energy.

This is why running is so great for you.

You give the what and the why's of running.

This is a great video, inspires them.

They're like yes I want the next video.

And the next video would be, what most people say,

Stretching, teach them how to stretch before they run.

Errr, that is not right.

You, as a runner, would stretch next right,

but you know how to run, they have never run before.

So what's going through their head?

They're going what should I wear?

I don't know what to wear, do I have to wear those

really ugly froggy shoesies?

I don't really want to wear those.

Okay, so your next video, would be about

what to wear, where to find it.

So you need to give them the fundamentals,

the real basic step way way way back

to what will help them succeed.

Because again, we want them to succeed.

We want them to know, like and trust you.

Right, so they keep following you.

And they're following you along

and then you get to the next video.

And what's the next video, okay, now we can stretch.

Errr, no, not ready to stretch yet.

Right, so now we might talk about

foods that can help your running or hurt them.

Talk about nutrition, we could talk about running form.

But, we are not going to hit the pavement, why?

First of all, it's unkind to your audience.

They're not ready yet, but second of all

that's what your paid course is, right.

So, your paid course is a running course.

So get them set up, get them ready, get them

giving them little micro wins each time so they're ready,

and they're excited to start running.

So that's what a story arc would look like

from the perspective of your audience.

Right, so don't fall into that curse of knowledge.

So another pitfall I see is trying to impress your audience

with the alphabet soup that lives after your name.

Listen, I think it's great that you went

and you got all those degrees but guess who doesn't care.

Your audience, right.

You think that that gives your authority.

You say it so that they believe you.

They believe you if you're giving them information

that they haven't heard before

and that you're giving it to them

in a way that they can digest it.

In small bites, are you getting the memo here?

Small, digestible, little videos that help move them along.

Right, okay and the third pitfall

is the fire hose of information right.

You just keep talking at them, you're not talking with them.

You're just going to give them everything,

because a lot of people think you have to

put a lot of stuff into the video.

No, no, no, one thing at a time.

Remember when I talked about that running example,

it's one small thing, here's nutrition.

It's one small thing, here's what to wear.

This is why you do the customer journey

and you plot out the little micro steps

that someone would need to take

in order to have success working with you.

Which brings me to how you're going

to structure your video content

so that your audience wants to keep watching along, right.

So how do you come up with some content?

What I like to do with my students and my clients

is that we start way back at the beginning.

So when I talk about plotting out your customer journey.

We start at the beginning when they find you.

We go to the end you know and you've had success,

and all the micro steps they take in between.

Well guess what, there's a whole bunch

of really great opportunity before they even find you.

That's going to help bring them in, right.

So, that's the questions I like to ask

so you might want to write this down of

what have they tried before that hasn't worked?

Right, so what are some of the things that your audience

may have tried before that isn't working?

And then you can create a myth busting video on that.

Or you can create a why it didn't work for you

and why working with you would work, why you're different.

These are all things before we even get to

micro plotting out any of the steps

that they need to take in your course

You have all of this information that's gonna bring them in,

cause it's like oh yeah I did try that and it didn't work.

If we go back to the running example right

like maybe they tried to get out there

and exercise before but they didn't have

all of that nurture content ahead of time.

So you wanna make sure that you're giving your audience,

you're talking to your audience at their level.

Meet them where they are.

Okay now, I keep talking about plotting out

the micro steps of success working with you right.

This is going to be your video content

so now I want you to take out that piece of paper again

and really plot it out this time right.

You have all of those videos you are gonna create,

before they meet you where they're struggling,

what they tried, what didn't work,

and now we're actually you know what are the steps?

And how many steps are there to

get success working with you right?

So for me, it's seven or eight depending on on my program.

For you, it might be four, or it might be 12.

It doesn't matter, as long as you know those steps.

And then your micro videos, your nurture videos,

leading up to selling your course, your coaching

your product are going to mirror all of those steps.

And remember, to step back, look at each of them

and say from a newbies perspective
