Hello, I'm Ichiro Hazama. It's a pleasure to be here.
Hello, "I'm Yu." Ahem, my name is Yu Sasaki. It's a pleasure to be here.
This is the first video we're making for the international version of FINAL FANTASY Record Keeper.
We'll be answering questions submitted on Facebook after this part, so I hope you're all excited about that.
Hey, doesn't "I'm Yu" sound a little funny? It does, doesn't it?
I'm you.
No, I'm Yu.
Okay. Bad jokes aside, Yu is his name. Anyway, we're actually coming to you today from somewhere very special.
That we are.
Yes, yes, yes.
Wow, the Royal Archives.
Yes, these are the Royal Archives. Impressive, aren't they? Anyway, on that note, why don't we get started. Again, it's great to be here.
Likewise.
Right then.
We do this in Japan too, right? I mean Q&A, answering questions from the players…
Certainly.
When we do this in Japan, we have our work cut out for us.
Oh yes, they really beat us up.
To a pulp. But since this is our first time doing this with our international audience, they actually went kind of easy on us with their questions.
Easy questions...
Yes, yes, yes. That's right. At least, I certainly hope that's how they're going to treat us. Anyway, let's get to it, shall we?
I'm a little nervous...
Yes, this is already in the pipeline.
As you may know, this feature has been available in Japan since the end of January,
and we expect to make it available worldwide around July.
So hang in there just a little bit longer.
Many fans have been asking for this since we introduced the Music Hall.
After all, being able to listen to the FINAL FANTASY series' fantastic music is one of the game's best features.
Fortunately, this change is on the way!
By the way, any times I or Mr. Hazama mention from now on will be for PST, so please keep that in mind.
On May 30, we'll be adding a feature that lets you listen to your Music Records on the Party screen,
and around mid-July, we'll be expanding this feature to let you listen to them on the Upgrades & Inventory screen, too.
Well, in terms of plans, we don't really have anything we're working on at this point in time.
Truth be told, we've kind of been avoiding collaborations with other titles.
We really wanted to start by doing everything we can with all the great characters and stories from the FINAL FANTASY games, so we've been trying to get as much of that in as we can.
That said, we've been getting a ton of requests from all sorts of places, both within and outside of Japan, to do more collaborations.
I even heard some in person when I was visiting different countries last year for DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY. So yeah, I do think I'd like to more actively try to do collaborations with other titles in the future.
So yeah, I do think I'd like to more actively try to do collaborations with other titles in the future.
Of course, we want as many people as possible to enjoy the collaborations, so I'd love to be able to bring more of those to the worldwide version too.
In fact, starting in mid-June, we'll be holding half-Stamina campaigns for these four dungeon types.
Players will be able to play these four types of dungeons for half their usual Stamina cost from June 19 to July 18.
We're hoping to hold more campaigns like this in the future, but for now, we hope you'll enjoy this one from June 19 to July 18.
With Stamina halved like this, you'll really be able to clear a lot of dungeons, won't you?
Then once you clear a dungeon here, a dungeon there, you get enough Stamina Shards to increase your max Stamina, then you complete even more dungeons, and...
Well, from then on, you're a record keeper for life.
"Yes, yes, that's how it happens
We've run a few half-Stamina campaigns in Japan too, and every time we really see players go at it.
On top of that, we'll be talking about lots of other things later that will give players even more incentive to keep playing.
Coming up, that's right. It's all ready to go.
So I think anyone who starts playing the game during this period is going to have a great time, since they'll pretty much be able to play any dungeon they want whenever they want.
Excelllent question.
Mr. Hazama.
Well, um, this might appear to come out of nowhere, but I actually went to Kuwait recently.
Huh?
I went to Kuwait recently.
It was for DISSIDIA, but when I got there I found out that it's prohibited to sell DISSIDIA there, so I wasn't actually able to talk about it that much.
Still, a lot of fans came out to that event anyway, which was great to see.
And a number of them actually had a lot to say about Record Keeper.
In fact, they were one of the groups I mentioned earlier who asked me about future collaborations.
I understood that people really enjoy the game, but it's things like that that have helped us, over the last year or so, to really see that for ourselves.
Today marks the real starting point for better communication with our international players.
Yes, yes, yes.
Right now, it's just us talking to you in this one-sided way, but I would really love to make this a two-way thing and listen to your requests for the game personally.
Then I really want to take that feedback and reflect it in the game as a way of giving back.
In fact, Ignis will be joining the game very soon!
You'll be able to recruit Ignis by completing a specific dungeon in
the FINAL FANTASY XV Royal Tactician event that begins on May 31.
We'll also be launching a relic draw alongside the event where players can acquire Ignis's Unique Soul Break, so fans of Ignis have a lot to look forward to.
Yes. Let's see... This is a girl named Elarra.
I expect some of you may have already seen her before on the game's launch screen,
or in the Magicite dungeons.
That's right.
You get to meet her briefly in the Magicite dungeons.
Up until now, she hasn't been recruitable,
but, um, sorry Mr. Sasaki,
I know I'm getting ahead of the program here, but in the upcoming Record Dungeons that we'll talk about more later, you'll be able to recruit her and adventure with her.
She's actually a healing-focused character, and, um...
She's great at it.
Yes, she's definitely a great healer.
I'm not sure if I should be calling her great, but, she is a great character.
Totally great. Totally great. As healers go, she can hold her own alongside FINAL FANTASY greats, so I hope you're all excited to recruit her.
Yeah, this is something we hear a lot from our more avid players, so rest assured, the entire dev team is thinking of ways to give you more chances at motes.
For starters, we have a FINAL FANTASY VI event on May 24 where players can get 4★ motes, and we hope to expand from there.
Then in mid-June, we'll be giving away both 4★ and 5★ motes as login bonuses during the Summer Sun Festival 2018, which we'll talk about more later.
When you get to the point where you're seeking 4★ and 5★ motes, you're really into the game.
Definitely.
Which means the player who submitted this question must be spending a lot on Record Spheres, right?
Oh yeah, a considerable number. I get the feeling the player who submitted that question is seriously hardcore.
Right? It's great, it's great. I love it.
I'd guess that also applies to many of the players who are watching this right now.
Yeah. All this reminds me that I don't have enough either. I hope they'll start offering more motes in the Japanese version too.
Everyone at DeNA, especially Yu, since he's the head of that team, is constantly thinking about ways to keep the relic draw system fun.
They're always wondering what they can do to improve it.
As for bringing back previous relic draws, there was something we did just last year on Black Friday, the Surprise Item Draw.
We didn't have that in Japan; it was exclusive to the worldwide version. You could draw once per day and get various items.
And the weird thing was, you could actually pull Mythril from that draw.
It sounded a little strange when we did it, but it was really well received.
We're thinking of bringing that back again, though it would have to be for a very limited time.
It was really too good of a deal.
Anyway, once we have the timing figured out, we'd like to do that one again.
Wait, where are we? Oh, I see. Sorry, sorry!
We're really happy to have the chance to answer so many questions one by one like this. Thank you all so much.
It's a shame that we don't have enough time to get to everything here, but all of us at Square Enix and DeNA do read and value your feedback.
And at the risk of repeating myself, we want to respond to you by making changes in the game as we progress.
That's right.
That's how we feel about it.
That's how we've done it up till now, and that's how we want to keep doing it.
We really do think of FINAL FANTASY Record Keeper as a collaborative effort between us and the players, and that's just as true for the worldwide version.
So please keep sending us your thoughts and requests, as they really help us to keep making Record Keeper the best it can be.
That's right. In that sense, just like the feedback we've gotten in Japan, we really appreciate hearing your honest thoughts about what
We really do.
It's true. It's true.
We're used to hearing blunt feedback, and it helps motivate us to come up with ideas that are more interesting than the players might expect.
We definitely want to keep it going, with the whole world helping.
That's right. We hope you'll keep doing us the honor.
Definitely.
It means a lot to us.
It does. Thank you all so much.
All right! Here we go. Here we go.
It's finally here.
This is awesome.
Awesome.
Really awesome. But, I have a feeling a lot of people may have already seen it.
Probably. But not everyone.
Good point. Either way, this is so great that we have to cover it no matter what.
Right. So this is our new key visual, and we were lucky enough to once again have Tetsuya Nomura himself draw it for us.
So, we have Tyro sitting in the back, along with Elarra, who we talked about before.
Then there's the character in the middle, who I'm guessing most of you probably haven't seen before.
This is the Shadowsmith, and he'll have a big role to play as this new story unfolds.
Then there are the two on the right.
They probably don't seem familiar right now,
but those of you who've played a lot of FINAL FANTASY will recognize their names immediately.
These two are none other than Biggs and Wedge as seen in FINAL FANTASY Record Keeper.
Next we have Cid, who's been around for some time now,
but what about the character between him and the Shadowsmith?
Do you know who this is?
This is a character called Namingway.
I'm actually not sure whether to use "he" or "she",
but at any rate, Namingway is a character who has traditionally shown up when the player wants to change a character's name.
This time though, Namingway will be more directly involved in the story.
So we've introduced everyone, but that doesn't really say much about what's going to happen, does it?
Still, I can say now that this story really gets back to FINAL FANTASY basics,
even as it goes on to tell an original tale with these characters.
Even in Japan we've only released the first few chapters,
so I'm excited to see where things go from here,
and which FINAL FANTASY worlds we'll be visiting next.
I myself enjoy playing it too, so I highly recommend it.
Now, as you can see here,
the title screen also has the new art Mr. Hazama just told you about.
Even though there are a number of new characters here,
there's actually a new detail about a familiar one as well.
It's a tiny detail, but as you can see, Tyro and Elarra don't have their hats on.
Oh, you're right.
This screen is the first time we've seen Tyro's bare head.
The game has been going for over three years, and Tyro's never taken his hat off.
That's right. Some players might even have been wondering where Tyro was when they first saw this art.
Yeah. Without his hat on, you can see what Tyro's bangs look like, for the first time.
That's right.
We can finally see it.
Certainly. We'll get to the Record Dungeons soon,
but first, I want to go over some related changes we've made to the Home screen.
To start, the background has been updated,
and we now have all the different dungeon types lined up together,
so you can swipe back and forth between them.
We think this will be easier to navigate for both new players and those coming back to the game.
Tap "Record Dungeons" on the Home screen to board the airship
and begin your new adventure.
The first time players venture into the Record Dungeons, they'll be greeted by an opening movie.
This movie acts as a quick refresher on Tyro's adventures so far,
and also hints at characters and journeys yet to come.
Up till now, Tyro's been on an adventure to restore the paintings inside the Royal Archives.
But now that they have an airship,
he's off on a new adventure to find the Corrupted Paintings scattered around the world.
The song that plays here is FINAL FANTASY Record Keeper's first original composition, "Journey of Memory."
The Record Dungeons are made up of chapters, and each island represents a single chapter.
You'll unlock new islands as you progress through the adventure.
Record Dungeons are divided into two types:
Corrupted Paintings and Record Paintings.
Corrupted Paintings don't require Stamina, but Record Paintings do.
In Corrupted Paintings, you'll fight alongside the heroes depicted in that painting.
These are the main type of dungeon found in Record Dungeons.
Players cannot choose their party members in Corrupted Paintings.
In Record Paintings, you can play with a party you choose, just like Realm Dungeons and Event Dungeons.
Record Dungeons have two routes: a main route in the center, and side dungeons.
Main Routes. Dungeons are comprised of Corrupted Paintings.
Complete a dungeon to unlock the next dungeon.
Side Dungeons. There are also hidden dungeons that you can unlock by meeting certain requirements.
These dungeons can be either Record Paintings or Corrupted paintings.
Complete the final dungeon on the main route to complete that chapter.
This might be a little confusing just hearing it here, but I promise that once you start playing, it all makes perfect sense.
It's pretty easy to understand.
As for not being able to choose your party members in Corrupted Paintings, while that is definitely the case, you'll still be able to level up Tyro and Elarra.
So if you're having a tough time with a certain dungeon, you can grind for EXP in previous dungeons to give yourself an edge, just like in the original titles.
Of course, if you're good enough, there's nothing to stop you from just breezing through either.
To be honest, I was never very good at these games myself, so I'd often choose to grind in order to get past a tough spot.
I think we really captured that feeling with the Record Dungeons.
Okay, next please.
Well, as Mr. Hazama just explained,
each chapter in the Corrupted Painting dungeons focuses on scenes from original FINAL FANTASY titles,
which means that the party you use to explore these dungeons only has characters that were in the original.
So, say you have a boss like the Guard Scorpion.
If you could assemble your strongest party, you could just plow right through the boss and the dungeon before it.
That's right.
But with this, you have to face that Guard Scorpion with a fixed party, so just like in the original games,
that means you need to figure out the best way to beat it.
Watch its tail and only attack when it's down, things like that.
We think this will bring back fond memories, and that players will really enjoy it.
Then there are the Side Dungeons, which Mr. Hazama touched on before.
In these, not only can you level up Tyro and Elarra, you can also get EXP specific to the Record Dungeons that can help them become stronger,
so you'll get to see them both grow as they continue with their adventure.
Until now, FINAL FANTASY Record Keeper has focused on battles.
The focus has always been on letting players relive battles from the original games.
But this time, there's a new feature that lets you explore the dungeons.
As you can see, we've remade the dungeons from the original titles in pixel art.
It's pretty epic, being able to journey through the dungeons we remember in this new way.
Of course, since this is a mobile game, we didn't want the controls to be too complicated.
We wanted to make exploring easy and fun.
But part of the fun of exploring dungeons is finding secret passages and treasure chests, so we made sure to still include things like that.
Now, if you take a look at this screen,
you can see that we've taken a dungeon which was originally created with polygons and completely recreated it in old-school pixels.
I think people who played VII and later games will say, "Wow, look how they remade everything."
But even earlier titles like VI have been redone in FINAL FANTASY Record Keeper's pixel art style.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy them.
So the area they were just exploring was straight out of the bombing mission that kicks off FINAL FANTASY VII, wasn't it.
We thought this would be the perfect title to start with to show how the more recent games have been reinterpreted with pixels,
so I think it'll be a treat for everyone watching.
I agree.
Now we have a new video to show you, and it features a pretty huge title, so I hope you all like it.
Wow, incredible. No matter how many times I see this, I'm impressed.
Fans will recognize this as the opening to FINAL FANTASY X. This memorable scene in Zanarkand has been completely remade in pixel form.
You might like it a little TOO much, Mr. Sasaki.
Probably.
We really shouldn't just come right out and play favorites.
We deal with all the FINAL FANTASY games, but honestly, this guy really has a soft spot for FINAL FANTASY X.
Yeah, I love it!
This song is fantastic.
It is good.
The whole soundtrack is, really.
Anyway, this scene, along with all the others from the different titles, has been faithfully remade with pixel art like this. It's one of the Record Dungeons' best features.
There will be more famous scenes from the major FINAL FANTASY titles, so I hope you're all excited to see them.
And we're not just recreating them--Tyro and Elarra will have a role in them too,
so that changes the story from the original games, and we think that will be something interesting for players to see.
And that's all we have to say about the Record Dungeons for now.
I want to draw everyone's attention to this 100 Mythril present to commemorate the Record Dungeon launch.
Now this, this is something I don't think we've done for the Japanese version of Record Keeper.
No, we haven't.
This is the biggest gift we've ever given away in Record Keeper.
It is. I imagine some die-hard Japanese fans will find a way to watch this video, so I hope they don't get too mad at us about this.
No, they'd never.
Maybe.
Don't worry, it'll be fine. Anyway, this present will be exclusively for the worldwide version of FINAL FANTASY Record Keeper.
With the Record Dungeons coming, it was the perfect time to make a major update to the game.
In fact, this is probably the biggest update in Record Keeper's history.
It is.
So we really can't wait until you're able to play it.
We'll also be giving away login bonuses.
Things like ten Major Growth Eggs and each type of Memory Crystal Lode.
Next, as part of the Record Dungeons update on May 30, we'll be removing the Stamina cost for the Record Paintings until the following Record Dungeons update.
These are the dungeons that normally cost Stamina, so we hope you'll play them as much as you can.
Right then.
It's a little crazy.
Wow, 100 Mythril.
I mean, I'd even like to have 100 Mythril.
And when you include the announcements we still have coming up, and these login bonuses, it can really add up.
It really can.
Now, we have even more big announcements waiting after this, you won't believe it.
It's true. May 30, I've said that date so many times now.
That day is a huge new beginning.
The game gets a major update, becomes easier to play, there are gifts left and right...
It makes me want to start playing the worldwide version. May 30…
You're already playing the Japanese version.
I know, but the excitement makes me want to start on the worldwide version too.
Wow, look at you.
Do you want to borrow my phone to play?
Yes! Give it here! When I give it back, your party will be stronger than ever.
Maybe I could borrow it while I'm at E3.
Okay, it's a deal.
You won't believe how much stronger your heroes are!
They'll be ready for motes, just like that.
Right, so as we mentioned in the Q&A segment,
the Music Hall will be getting an update on, you guessed it, May 30.
As part of this update, players will be able to choose their favorite Music Records and have them play on the Party screen.
This is really bigger than it might sound, because music is such an integral part of this game.
Maybe not quite as much as something like Theatrhythm, but FINAL FANTASY just wouldn't be what it is without its music.
The Record Keeper team really gets that, and so they've made a system that lets the music shine.
And now, in this upcoming update, we'll be able to show that off, and we're really happy about that. I think you'll all love it.
Right.
So, I'm going to tell you about the Acolyte Archives, the new system that's replacing Cid's Missions.
The Acolyte Archives contain a variety of books, each of which lists multiple missions.
These books include the Book of Trials, the Book of Dates, the Book of Time, and the Book of Challenges.
You can complete the challenges listed in these books to receive rewards that will make your game experience much smoother.
Even better, you don't need to accept these missions ahead of time;
their rewards are automatically sent to your Item Chest as soon as you meet the requirements to complete them.
Right.
On top of that, any mission objectives that you've already fulfilled before unlocking the mission will be marked complete once that mission unlocks.
Let's take a look at the Book of Trials as an example.
The Book of Trials is all about Guide Missions, missions that are designed to help players naturally progress into becoming master keepers.
It's one of the most important books in the Michibiki no Shoko-- Sorry, that's the Japanese name for the Acolyte Archives.
It's okay, it's still the same thing.
The Book of Trials contains Guide Missions that are designed to help new playersbecome master record keepers, making these books some of the most important in the entire Acolyte Archives.
The Book of Trials is split up into several volumes, which unlock in order as you complete each volume.
Completing every mission in a volume of the Book of Trials also gives you a free 3x relic draw that's guaranteed to contain at least one 5★ relic!
And if that wasn't enough, these relic draws even come with a bonus relic!
These relic draws are exclusive to the Book of Trials, and each relic draw's lineup is unique to its volume.
The same goes for each bonus relic.
This system is designed to offer greater rewards for later volumes.
Rewards start with Unique Soul Breaks, but for later volumes, you'll be getting Super Soul Breaks and Burst Soul Breaks!
We're planning to launch this new system on May 30 following maintenance. We hope you enjoy it!
It's a really great system.
I'm actually, um... How can I put this...
You have a lot of books...
I do. I do. It's like this. It's really just like this.
Exactly like this.
So, the Book of Trials has several volumes just by itself, and you complete them one at a time.
Then, as you complete them, you get all sorts of bonuses--well, they're actually relic draws.
Right.
There are special relic draws you get, and the rewards are in there.
And on top of that, you get another bonus where you can select a relic of your choice.
They're really good relics too, so much that you won't even believe they came as a bonus.
You'll think, "This is better than anything I already have. I really get this as a bonus?"
And the rewards make everything after that much easier.
And the books themselves do a great job of providing goals and suggestions for what players can do next.
Like Mr. Sasaki said earlier, they really do serve as guides.
So it's amazing, it's very fun to do.
Sometimes the mission goals seem like a really high hurdle,
but then you find yourself completing them a week or so later, and it's all part of the fun.
Just so you all know, I'm not going to have much more to say until the end.
Right then.
I'll probably get some digs in here and there, but for the most part, it'll all be Mr. Sasaki covering the details.
Everyone stick with me.
It'll be fun, enjoy it.
All right, on to the first event.
You really are pumped, huh.
On May 31 we'll be releasing the FINAL FANTASY XV event "Royal Tactician."
As we mentioned in the Q&A segment, this event will let players recruit Ignis.
Also note that this is a Collector's Event, meaning that players will be able to collect special items called Ingredients and trade them for Mythril or other items.
Players can also get Ignis's Unique Soul Break in the accompanying relic draw.
Now, on to the next one.
Right then.
On June 11 we'll be releasing the 30th Anniversary Special Dungeons.
Players will be able to relive the battle in the Chaos Shrine, the place where it all began,
and get their hands on the new Warrior of Light Wardrobe Record, Classic Red.
On to the next event.
On June 14 we'll be releasing the FINAL FANTASY IV event "Triumph over Darkness."
As part of this event, players will be able to recruit Barbariccia, the wind master of the Four Fiends.
On to the next event.
And the revenge event Twin Stars of Mysidia will go live on June 17.
This event will let you get Wardrobe Records of grown-up versions of Palom and Porom,
so grab them while you can!
And on June 20, we'll be releasing the DISSIDIA Collaboration Event "Reflections of Heroes."
In this event, players will be able to get original items created exclusively for this collaboration.
In addition, players will also be able to get previously available Wardrobe Records for Terra and Cecil,
so don't miss this chance to get your hands on any records you may have missed before!
Now let's fill you in on a special event starting June 24, Summer Sun Festival 2018.
On June 24 PST, we'll be launching Summer Sun Gift Dungeons that offer plenty of valuable rewards,
like the hugely popular ones we released for the 3rd anniversary.
New dungeons will be added daily for fourteen days until July 7,
giving everyone a chance to collect up to 52 Mythril in total!
You'll also have a shot at getting Orb Crystals, 5★ motes, and other useful items, so don't miss a single day!
Now, on to the next one.
On June 24 we'll be releasing "The Weapons Strike,"
a dungeon where you'll have to face off against a gauntlet of deadly foes.
Its main event is a series of battles against the powerful Weapons, ancient creatures who have stirred to life to protect a planet in crisis.
In this event, you'll battle the Weapons that appeared in FINAL FANTASY VII, so we hope you'll rise to the challenge!
We've also got new Quiz Dungeons coming on June 24.
The Ragtime Mouse FINAL FANTASY quizzes we brought out to celebrate Record Keeper's third anniversary were so popular,
we thought we'd bring them back!
For these dungeons, we'll be asking questions about the new scenes depicted in the Record Dungeons that come out on May 30.
By ready for easy and hard questions about each title!
So let's see, on May 30...
Wow.
If you start playing through the Record Dungeons, I think you should be able to handle the questions in the Quiz Dungeons starting on June 24 without too much trouble.
Sounds right.
I really hope you'll all give them a shot.
So do I. Don't you think you should take a break?
No, I'm good.
Next, we have the Music Hall that Mr. Hazama went over earlier.
Right.
You'll be able to get your hands on new Music Records, so I really hope you'll give it a try too. Right, so next, more music stuff.
Starting June 25, we'll be releasing Music Record Dungeons where you can search for famous FINAL FANTASY music!
With a multitude of dungeons spanning every FINAL FANTASY title from I to XV, FINAL FANTASY TACTICS, and FINAL FANTASY Type-0,
you'll have plenty of chances to hunt down your favorite tracks.
Each dungeon is designed to be low-difficulty, so don't be afraid to see what they hold!
Next, on June 29 we'll be releasing a dungeon that pits you against an enemy of pure darkness that is Zeromus, and so much more: Zeromus EG…
How are they going to handle the subtitles for this. I guess they'll probably just write all that as-is.
I don't know what the English name for the event is, but you fight Zeromus EG.
Ah, the Unparalleled Darkness event is coming!
Just like the fearsome Ozma (Boundless), which players faced during the 3rd anniversary,
this boss is one of the strongest to ever be seen in FFRK, so you'll need to go armed with Dr. Mog's Chronicle of the Water Crystal!
Starting on June 24, all Power Up Dungeons will be fully unlocked!
During this event, players will be able to attempt any Power Up Dungeon they like to collect experience points and elemental orbs,
so this is a great chance to make your heroes even stronger.
To sweeten the deal, we've also increased the amount of gil you'll receive from all Power Up Dungeons.
And this isn't a limited-time thing.
Even after the full unlock period ends, the Power Up Dungeons will still keep these boosted rewards, so I really hope you'll all give these a shot.
We're not done yet! Next, let's talk relic draws.
We'll be releasing an Overhaul Relic Draw to celebrate the new Record Dungeons.
Phase 1 will launch on May 30, and Phase 2 will launch on June 1.
This relic draw will feature select relics that have been hugely popular in the past.
Next relic draw.
Starting June 9, we have the Summer Sun Relic Draw Festival's Realms on Parade Relic Draw…
Wow, really good job.
As you might guess from the name,
these relic draws feature relics from a different FINAL FANTASY each day leading up to
Just like the 3rd anniversary, players will be able to spend 5 Mythril for a single 3x relic draw that's guaranteed to contain one 5★ relic.
We'll also be holding a three-phase Lucky Relic Draw in the leadup to the Summer Sun Relic Draw Festival.
Each player will get one chance to purchase this relic draw at half price!
Beginning on June 21, Phase 1 will offer 5★ or higher Elemental Infusion Burst and Ultra Soul Breaks,
Phase 2 is exclusively 5★ or higher Overstrike Soul Breaks,
and Phase 3 is exclusively 5★ or higher Ultra Soul Breaks!
Each phase will only last for one day, so get them while they last!
And on June 24, the Summer Sun Relic Draw Festival begins!
With five phases in total, this relic draw includes an assortment of select relics from Arcane Overstrikes to new Chain Soul Breaks!
We're still keeping the specific relics and Soul Breaks under wraps, but we think you'll love what this relic draw has in store!
Well, with this amount of relic draws, honestly, I doubt the players can keep track of what we've already told them without rewatching.
So, right. Go easy on them.
I still have more announcements to make.
Now, let me go over the login bonuses.
You're unbelievable!
Finally, June 24 will also mark the start of a special login bonus period.
Starting with 10 Mythril,
players will be able to receive all sorts of fantastic items, including 4★ and 5★ motes and new abilities, just for logging in.
Don't forget to collect your rewards once you've received them!
Wow, that was really something.
OK then. Well, Mr. Sasaki really did a lot of work today.
But yeah, as the first show of this kind, I really do consider it a new start,
and I'm looking forward to finding more ways to talk with our worldwide players and incorporating their feedback into the game.
For example, we talked about Ozma before.
That came about from a livestream with the Japanese players.
We asked them which boss they wanted to fight, and they knew exactly what they wanted, there was no question.
You can make a good boss based on that kind of feedback.
Yeah, really good.
It did turn out well.
So I'd love to ask similar questions to even more people from different countries.
I mentioned going to Kuwait earlier.
No matter where I go, I talk to people who are FINAL FANTASY fans, and it's great fun.
So when we're able to listen to lots of different people in different places,
the game gets better and better,
I can really feel the difference.
So I hope to make this a start, and to keep going with this.
I've mentioned May 30 so many times now, but I really hope you enjoy everything coming then.
I'm starting to ramble, so I just hope you enjoy the game.
Thank you all so much for watching.
Okay, me next.
I've lost count of how many Mythril gifts I announced today...
I have no idea.
If you add them all up...
How many were there?
Whatever it is, it's got to be a big number.
It makes me wonder if the game designers are really taking all this free Mythril into account.
I know. Then there's all the relic draws, and the other new features...
It was a tremendous amount to announce, but I think it's all something the players can really enjoy.
So I hope that you're all excited about what we've announced today, and that you also look forward to what's still to come.
As Mr. Hazama said, this is really just the beginning.
And I also hope that you keep telling us your thoughts, so that we can use that to keep making Record Keeper even better.
Don't hold back, but of course we wouldn't mind a kind word now and again either.
But either way, it's fine. It really is.
Too much negativity can be a little rough, though.
That's true.
But still, it can be fun to take everything they throw at us and try to answer back.
Yeah. So to all of you watching from around the world, I mean it when I say that I can't wait to hear from you.
Thank you all so much.
Wow, I think she said "Mythril" there at the end.
It's always Mythril.
Yeah. I like it that way.
