hi there guys Emanuele here from empowerment team dog and today we're How to make money on Youtube videos
going to be talking about how to make money with YouTube videos I'm going to
be showing you two strategies that I believe that you can put into practice
straightaway and that you can use them straightaway to actually start making
some money but before you do that what I'd like for you to do now is just click
on the subscribe button and subscribe to the channel because I'm regularly
putting out videos and regularly giving you value regularly trying to give you
any tools any tips that come to me that I believe will help empower you to
actually get your first sells online and actually make you a better marketer so
that's my goal for you so that's why I want to make sure you keep getting this
content so as well as next to the subscribe button there'll be a little
bell and if you click on that bell as well to make sure that you're constantly
notified when I put out a new video so as soon as I put out a bit of content
you'll know about it alright so that being said let's go over
to my computer and then we'll continue getting into the content so let's go hey
guys so I'm over on the computer now and I'm actually here at my youtube channel
of course I'm going to show you the two ways I was talking about to make money
using videos using YouTube videos and there's two ways the first way I would
say is using YouTube ads and what I'm talking about with YouTube ads I'm not
talking about you putting out ads I'm talking about where you have a channel
where people maybe come to your video and on your video before your video
plays you'll have different types of ads maybe you'll have in screen ads I'll
show you the different types of ads in a minute so what happens then is people
come over and when they click on one of these ads and they're taken to whatever
it wherever the person who put the add up is advertising you make some money
now why I don't like this method quite so much is because you know you're
actually sending people away from your channel you're sending people away from
your videos yeah and it's not that but it's not that profitable really it's
like is if you make think it works out $2.00 per thousand
views you would make $2.00 per thousand views it's called CPM so you can see you
need to have quite a big active channel you need a lot of views in order to make
any real money from this but just say you want to do this I would advise this
if you're not really doing a channel where you want to sell something if it's
more the lifestyle channel what people how people used to use this method I'll
go through it properly in a minute but how people used to use this method were
you know like the pranksters type those types of videos where people do these
crazy things where they jumped off bridges or they get really hot chili
peppers so they'd have these massive followers massive amount of subscribers
millions of people would watch these videos that they put out every week so
they would then you know they the actual video itself is not selling anything
it's just interesting video but then it would be monetized with these ads and if
people some of those people clicked on the ads they would then make money you
know because but it makes sense if you're not really trying to sell
something on the channel if you are trying to sell something then this isn't
the best way but say you want to do this then what you need to do is you go to
your YouTube channel I'm assuming you've got a YouTube channel if you haven't
then all you need to do is go to Google and you just sign up for a Google
account and it comes with YouTube you get a YouTube channel included with that
cuz YouTube and Facebook I mean excuse me YouTube and Google are connected
alright so once you've got your YouTube channel you just coming over here to
create a studio and that will take you over to this page here and on the side
it says channel and here you can click on status and features and here this is
the one you're looking for monetization you want to enable that once you've
enabled that then you've enabled your channel to be able to make money off
these ads when people click on these ads and these are the different types of ads
when I go through them you probably think oh that's what he's talking about
these are the ones he's talking about so you know sometimes you get to you're
trying to play your video actually for me they're quite annoying by hey you're
trying they must work because people do it a lot you're trying to watch your
video you found a video before the video plays these ads play and
you've got to watch at least five seconds of them before you can skip the
ad down here in the bottom right hand corner the other types are let's go
through them there's different types there's this one here we call the in
search ads that's like I see if there's one on here it's like this here so you
just want you to me one in the corner that's actually in the search we've got
the in-stream ads that's the one we just saw this in-stream ads that you've got
to watch five to ten seconds is it five you've got to watch the first five
seconds before you can skip here you have the in display ad so actually when
the video itself is playing there'll be an ad in the top right-hand
corner here that you can click and take you away again you see what I mean you
you're actually taking people away from your content so if you're trying to sell
with your content not the best thing to actually tell people to go somewhere
else especially for the amount of money you're going to make then we have these
non clickable ads these are like the kind of bigger channel through the TV
channels the TV advertisements you know some of the music channels you have to
watch here is it's some fifteen to thirty seconds you don't have a choice
you have to watch it all and then these overlay ads these little ones it's like
a little tiny little banners that come at the bottom twenty percent of the
video and again you got it you can click on those and that can take you over to
whoever this is advertisers in here would be a car I think we've put this ad
up right so yeah so that's what that's one way yes like said if you're run if
you're doing a kind of lifestyle channel where you're not trying to sell
something then that makes sense you do have to have quite a big channel
because if you if I on average you'll make $2 for every thousand views so
really you think about it make some money you got to be having at least five
to ten thousands of viewers watching each of your videos to make any real
money so you have to have quite decent size channel if you're selling something
then I think you should use the second method which is affiliate marketing and
now that's my niche that's the sort of thing I really really really enjoy doing
because you just make bigger Commission's why
would I if I could get a thousand people to watch a video I'd want some of them
I'd want to send them to somewhere where they can buy something where I make a
higher Commission than $2 now if you got something to sell online then you should
make a video and talk about that thing you've got to sell and in put a link to
where they can go and buy it below the video now if you don't have something to
sell then the best place to go to get you started is Amazon it's massive
everybody knows about it and it's a trusted channel if you want to become an
affiliate of an Amazon I put a search in views called Amazon affiliate program How to make money on Youtube videos
that's what I put in a search is actually called Amazon Associates Amazon
code at UK associates but just put that search in and it's this this one here
this is it here it's free to join so you can become you can start this right now
completely for free join now for free and you can get up to 10% in advertising
for anything that you you sell on Amazon anything that people are going to buy on
Amazon you can potentially make 10% if you're the one that sends them over to
Amazon so they will give you a link and for that link if somebody clicks on that
link and goes over to Amazon and buys you will make money you'll make a
commission let me just show you roughly what you do once you're here and you've
joined this is how you would advertise they actually give you the linking tools
that give you all the links everything that you need see it says here you can
send people to any page on Amazon so anything that you think people are going
to buy on Amazon you can send them over to but I advise you to make sure that
it's a high priced product and we just go let me just go backwards on this I
advise you to make sure it's a high priced product because I mean there's no
point really if you're only making 10% then there's no point really going off
to things like this $12.99 I mean you're only gonna make what two pounds one two
pounds one two dollars I would go outside in search I put le
TV let's just do that because you know most LED TVs you're gonna be making five
six hundred dollars and if you have a look here this one's one thousand seven
hundred so you'd make ten percent of that that's one hundred and seventy nine
dollars you see so it makes sense to go for higher price products yeah I look
down here and I found this TV which I really like this TV and so you would you
would get a link to send somebody to this precise page look how professional
this page it does Amazon will do the selling for you and this if somebody's
already interested in this TV and they find a review of something that you done
on YouTube so you would do a quick review very very easy you would go and
find out a little bit about this MTV if you didn't know already maybe watch
somebody else's YouTube channel or find you know and to find out the pros and
the cons so you took honestly about the TV you would film it on this on your
phone we've all got phones that's very easy nowadays to just film yourself
talking or film the product if you want to and then you know once you've done
the video you would then say listen if you want if you want to purchase this or
you want to know more about it there's a link below my video click on that link
which will take them over to this page and they will buy I mean this this is
people that are probably already interested in buying it they found your
video then they're gonna click over on your link to this page and once they've
bought you're going to be making Commission's here what's that that's
about fifty dollars it's about sixty dollars sixty four dollars sixty seven
dollars here I mean another thing I mean like how easy would it be to go into a
local store where this is being sold where there's I mean here would probably
be Curry's in the UK I don't know where in America Walmart but go into the store
speak to a professional speak to somebody who knows about it and how is
it would it be to just record them record the two of you saying asking him
or her questions about the TV tell me the pros what what's really good about
this TV differentials dis TV from other TVs yeah
some interesting stuff why would you buy it why wouldn't you buy it you know cuz
people want to know both they want an honest review then you say well you know
that's my review that that video then you just upload it to your YouTube
channel there you now have a piece of content about this TV that somebody will
could potentially find and think alright let me see what it what this person's
opinion is on this TV and then there's a link below that links them to here and
if they buy the TV which they were probably gonna do anyway you would make
a commission of 50 or dollars I think about it now you'll if you got a
thousand people to your video instead of making $2 you know you could potentially
make $50 from one cell thousand people one cell thousand people $2 I mean
that's why the first way I would only advise that the YouTube ads are the only
advisor if you're not looking to so you don't want to be affiliate marketer you
just want to talk about your lifestyle just want to put videos up just for
entertainment then make a little bit extra money from that as well then you
might as well just double up but if you try and sell something then affiliate
marketing is the way and this is what I would recommend now another thing I do
recommend for people it you know if you want to get into affiliate marketing
then I recommend there's a there's a system that I think that is great for
most people because you can now make commissions of up to $1,000 you know if
you like I'm gonna give you access is I'm gonna leave a link below this video
well you can you can watch a completely free video that lets you know exactly
how you can do that how you can start making huge commissions big Commission's
of $1000 plus doing more or less the same thing very very easy to get started
and everything will be explained if it's for you I'll leave a link below
