We are Akula Rhytm band. Me, us... The guys over there...
We are a band of six from all over.
I come from Limburg and now live in Utrecht.
Most of the guys come from Amsterdam. Our Singer comes from Lille in France.
And we make Afrobeat...
...or music inspired by African funk from the seventies.
We recorded an album, last December...
...and it's going to be great but it's not finished yet.
And I don't know when it will be released.
So... It's a bit vague... But we have some stuff coming up...

... what you seee on stage is kind of an outburst of energy...
... our singer, Theo, is really a fantastic guy.
He sings and plays keyboard. And he has so much energy...
... A soon as he enters the podium he turns into a beast. It's a feast to look at.
Our goal is to make people dance.
So it's guaranteed you will dance when you come to a show of Akula Rhytm Band.
Because that's what the music does to you!
It's so nice to play with this band. You're on stage and that feels awesome.
The six of us just playing music, and especiallly when the crowd goes nuts...
