Importing Data is very easy to do in SRK. Let's show you how

Step 1, start by downloading the attached file: Invoice_Information.csv

on the Quick Start page.

The data in the file contains products purchased in 2013 and 2014 from an electronic store.

Step 2, log in to the platform by going to www.drivensrk.com and entering your credentials.

Step 3, click on "Create an organization".

Type in a name for your organization and select save.

Step 4, click on the "Import" tab and choose "Express Import".

Step 5, choose "Create new data series, Type in a title for your data series"

Select the file "Invoice_Information.csv," and click "Import".

Step 6, confirm that the field types are correct and then click "Continue"..

Congratulations! You've just successfully imported data and created your first data series

Creating analysis in SRK is easy!

Let's create an analysis to find out which state generated the most revenue.

Click on the "Data & Analysis" tab on the upper right,

then click the green "New" button, and select "Custom View."

Under "Source #1", select "Invoice Information" from the dropdown list.

Select all the fields except the last 4 displayed.

Scroll down to the "Compute fields" and create a very simple revenue calculation.

Enter "Revenue" for the field name.

For computation "Type", select "Number" from the dropdown list.

and then click the blank grey box to pull up the calculator UI and create the computation:

Price x Quantity and click "Save."

At the bottom, click on the preview button to see a cross section of your analysis.

Give your "Custom View" a title and click "Save" at the bottom of the page.

From here, let's create your first chart and make cosmetic modifications to the results.

Click on "Add Chart" on the upper right.

Select "Column Chart".

next to the chart option, select "Revenue" from the drop down as your "Y-axis"

and for your "X-axis field" select "State."

Finally, give your chart a title and click "Apply."

Click the "Save view settings" at the bottom to preserve your settings.

Right click on the bars or field names in the chart legend to change chart colors.

Left click on a bar or slice of the chart to view a breakdown of the data behind it.

You may also narrow down your results and make cosmetic changes in the "Filters,"

"Highlights," "Conditional Formatting," and "Output Preferences" sections.
