How to use custom backgrounds for your YouTube videos (Android, iOS, macOS) - Duration: 6:30.

In this video, I'll be showing you how to use all kinds of backgrounds for your YouTube

videos, your marketing videos, or whatever kind of video you want to push out there.

You've probably watched behind the scenes of popular movies and you've most likely

seem them using the green screen effect.

This is chroma keying and it's what we're dealing with here.

It may seem difficult, but it's pretty easy.

And you can actually do it.

Before we get started, you should know that your camera doesn't really really matter.

I have a DSLR, a Canon EOS Rebel T6i, but I shot this demo video with an iPhone 7 Plus.

Now this whole thing comes in two parts, the shooting and the editing.

Just as you can use a DSLR or your phone camera to shoot the video, you can also use your smartphone

or computer for editing.

Before we go into the editing part, we should first talk about shooting the video… and

like me, I assume you're shooting on a budget with limited equipments.

Now you're going to need a green background.

For me, I used this green cloth I got from the local market.

And this kind of cloth is everywhere.

Plus it's cheap.

Just make sure it's not shiny.

Set it up in a way it doesn't look too crumpled and make sure you don't have shadows on

it.

That is important.

You also need a lot of light.

Natural light would be perfect since I'm assuming you don't have soft boxes or those

professional lighting equipments.

I'm shooting this on a sunny day, it's broad daylight and I'm In a room in my apartment

with two windows, so I have enough natural light coming in.

If you get this part right, you're good to go.

Now, when you're shooting the video, don't stand too close to the green background to

avoid your shadow falling on the background.

And one more thing, don't wear green!

You body is gonna be transparent if you do.

I believe you now how to shoot the right way…

Now, editing.

I already said you can do this with an Android phone, an iPhone, or your computer.

In this tutorial, we'll be talking about how to do the editing on mobile using KineMaster,

an application available for Android and iOS.

We'll also be taking a look at how to do it on macOS using Final Cut Pro.

Search the App Store or Play Store and download this application.

I believe the user interface is similar for both Android and iOS.

After installing the application and launching it, the first thing you want to do is create

a new project by tapping this button.

First select background image or video by tapping MEDIA.

It's important that you choose the background image or video first.

Here I'm using this image as my background.

Confirm your selection at the top-right.

Now do some cropping if you have to and make sure the background covers the whole area.

Next, tap this layer button, select Media.

Now choose the video you shot with a green background.

Drag it to the middle and make sure it covers the whole screen as well. I mean, make sure it covers the whole area.

Tap the image layer at the top and make sure it extends right to the end of the video

Tap the video layer and choose Chroma Key here on the right.

Turn on Enable.

If the green background doesn't change or if your image suddenly seem to disappear,

You may need to change the Key Color here.

This part is important.

Be sure the shade of green you choose here is the same as your green background.

It can be confusing but you have to get this part right.Now these sliders let you adjust

the transparency of the background and foreground.

You need to play with them to achieve perfection.If you want to do it the easy way, use this MASK

Mask and adjust the sliders till you have a white image against a black background like

this.

Then you can turn it off.

If it looks good to you, you can do some color correction on the subject layer to match the

color tone with the background.

That's as far as it goes doing this on mobile.

Save your project and export to your gallery.

Now, to do this on Final Cut Pro.

Create a New Project and import the clip with the green background first.

Next, import the background image or video and place it under the primary storyline.

Click on the first video you imported, the one with the green background.

Now go to effects, select Keying, then double-click Keyer to apply it.

It probably won't look perfect at first, but you can adjust these settings to make

it look better.

I always keep the strength at 100%.

You can use spill removal, color selection, the matte tool to perfect they chroma keying.

There's a link to Apple's website in the description that further explains what these

tools do.

You may not get it right the first time, but with practice, you would be able to create decent

videos with great backgrounds.

ACCA F9 Exam question: Over trading - F9 June 12 2a (Video 6) - Duration: 7:35.

Right, let's have a look at this question then. All about over trading. It says using

suitable working capital ratios. So what working capital ratios do we know?

Definitely the current ratio, we would probably also want to do something on

receivables, so receivable days, inventory days and then when you look

at it look this all up here. Current ratio, quick ratio, inventory days,

receivable days, payable days could do sales revenue / net working

capital as well. Okay now, in this I'm not going to do the actual ratios for you.

I'm sure you can work them out yourselves. Well I'm gonna concentrate on

use this over trading bit. So it says they're using the ratios and analysis of

the financial information. Evaluate whether this company is over trading or

not. So what I would do to answer a question like this it's a full 12

marks, the first thing is all state a bit of knowledge but I'm going to be

really specific on the state what over trading really is okay and over trading

is when we are expanding, we are expanding beyond our usual capital

limits so that it would become undercapitalized. Something along those

lines, any other words, it doesn't really matter but basically what I'm saying is

defined over trading it's where we expand so quickly we don't use enough

long term finance and we become over dependent on short term finance and that

puts us in real risk of going bust because the short term finance is

overdraft and then overdraft can be called in any time, can't it. So you define

over trading and then we're going to have a look and we say right let's have

a look is this company over trading? Their first signs of over trading is

a huge increase in revenue. So what I would do, I would probably work that out

as a percentage, see what the percentage increase is. Looks to me if it's gone up

about 40%t okay now. That's gone up

40% but the profits do not go up by 40%, they hardly go up at

all okay. Let's say that's the first example of over trading. So I'll just

want the examples down here. A big increase in revenue but not such a big

increase in profits, now that's not enough. You say, well why would that be?

And you say that's because we are concentrating on profitability. When

you're over trading you're trying to become as profitable as you can, you're

trying to get in as many sales as you can and in doing so what we might be

doing, we might be reducing the sales price to

get more sales in okay so that's what we could be doing here with over trading,

Now what else have we got them to suggest that we are over trading. Well it

says use the ratios. So the average ratios for the current ratio was 1.7 times

and then what we have to do is work out our current ratio for

this year. So our current ratio for this year would be

your current assets, which is the 5,349 over

your current liabilities which is the 4,365 and that is definitely less

than 1,7 so the current ratio obviously in the real exam you

would work that out but in the real exam you work it out concentrating

on the over trading bit. So I will say that code ratio has gone down and I

would say probably WHY it's gone down. We didn't go down, this is a symptom of

over trading and that is because of the increase in the revenue okay so the

current ratio falling because of the increase in the overdraft.

Okay do the same for the quick ratios. Now let's have a look at inventory days.

Inventory days is 55, we will expect inventory days to be

increasing. So let's gonna have a look at inventory. So what you can see, you could

do this as well; the inventory days will increased without me having to do

it but you could see that inventory has doubled by the looks of it and yet

revenue hasn't doubled so I probably put that in as well okay, so that's another

point as well as working out inventory days. Remember inventory days would be

inventory divided by cost of sales times by 365 okay. I've done this question

before I can tell you it does increase and you have to say well, that's another

symptom of over trading. Why would it be? Because we don't want any stock

outs, so what we've done is we've made sure we've always made sales by having

lots of stock but now we might be stuck with that stock a little bit. We've seen

all day you should do the same thing work out the receivable days. I'd also do

the same thing working out what's happened to receivables as a whole again

it seems to have virtually doubled and revenue hasn't virtually doubled so

revenue is going up, trade receivables should go up in the same

manner but it's not, it's going beyond that. So we do that, we do the receivable

days and we'd say why, why would this be happening and maybe we are giving extra

credit terms in order to get more money, in order to make more sales ok and this

is increasing that. Now, because we've got this big increase in our current assets

from 2,826 to 5,349, we've got that big increase but where are we

getting because it's inventory, because it's receivable, it's actually cash to us so

where are we getting this cash from? And you can see the cash is coming from the

overdraft so the overdraft is hugely increased, you say that's the symptom of

over trading and the other thing that's hugely increased is trade payables, I do

the payable days, they will increase and mention the overdraft how that has

increased a lot and that what we're saying is overall is we are now relying

on our overdraft and our payables to support our

investment in revenue, to support our investment not in revenue in receivables

and in inventory and so this is what over trading is!We stopped getting too

much, stock too much receivables, desperate to make sales but we are not getting

enough long-term capital. We're relying too much on short-term capital

okay and if you look at the long-term capital you would say look those have

stayed the same there's been no issue of shares, there's

been no long-term mission, we are relying purely on trade payables & overdraft, we

are undercapitalized and that's what it's often called. It's often called

undercapitalization, it's called thin capitalisation and that's how you work it.

And also probably just finish off by working out that as well and then have we got

the 12 marks? You bet your bottom dollar we have!

Change Is Scary. But Cool. (a mini life update video) - Duration: 3:41.

Welcome back to youngblossom my name is Jonah.

This is my first video from my new bedroom in my new apartment in Madison, Wisconsin.

That's why I haven't uploaded a video in a little while because I was preparing to move.

I know I didn't really keep Youtube too much in the loop with my move, but honestly that's

just because I really didn't know what was going on with my move until it basically happened.

I wish I could say that I planned everything for my move out and that it was executed perfectly,

but quite frankly, things just didn't seem like they were going to work out for me moving,

and then they kind of came together like super quickly and I just didn't have time to make

videos in all of the commotion.

So I do apologize for that, but I did want to stop in and say hey and tell you that I

moved.

I'm a city boy now, and uh things are going really well for me, and I'm really happy.

I also did want to take a second to say a quick shoutout and thank you to all the people

who saw my video on Ash Hardell's and decided to come over to my channel and hit subscribe.

That means a lot to me.

You guys are wonderful.

Which if you haven't checked, I talked about my public transition and just things like

that, so I will link that down below for you to check out if you wanna see that.

That was such an awesome opportunity um and that was really the only video that I was

able to make in course of the past couple of weeks just because I have been so busy

with all of my moving plans.

Yesterday, I had orientation for my new job, and I officially start work on Tuesday, and

I'm really excited to be starting work because I have worked basically six days a week for

the past like seven months, so it's been a little weird to adjust to having like some

time off and like not working for the past like week or so.

I've just been doing a whole lot of nothing that has been really weird, and I'm just really

excited to start my new job.

Plus my new job is going to be as a barista, so I'm pretty damn excited because anybody

who knows me knows that coffee is like my thing, so.

So yeah, I'm gonna be a barista, I'm gonna be working full time, I'm living in a city

that I love with uh roommates that are just wonderful in a beautiful apartment in a perfect

neighborhood, and I'm just really really content with how things are going.

It's just been really wonderful, which I'm really appreciative of because I'm somebody

who has a hard time adjusting to change, which is actually kind of ironic seeing as I'm transgender.

Which by the way, as of recording this video, I am actually one year and six months on testosterone,

which in other words, I've been on hormones for a year and a half now, which is just wild.

I was really really anxious that I was going to have a hard time adjusting to everything,

but so far, I have just gone to bed every single night just so feeling so at peace with

everything, and I'm just like genuinely excited for what the future holds, and that's a feeling

I haven't had for quite some time, and I'm just feeling really hopeful and really good

about everything that's going on in my life right now.

I know I say this in every video that I ever post on Youtube, but my hope is that in the

coming weeks and months that I will be able to make more content to post on Youtube, uh

but like I said, change is kind of difficult for me to adjust to, so you're gonna have

to bear with me while I get used to this stuff and find time for Youtube.

But I do wanna say that I still love making Youtube videos, and I have not forgotten about

it.

Change is really difficult for me to adjust to, so I just wanted to give you guys a heads

up that I might be a little absent from Youtube for a while, but if you wanna keep up with

me on my social medias, all of those will be linked down below.

I'm way more active on those I promise.
