Hi my name is Delaney Thoma and I go to Washington High School.
I swim on my high school varsity swim team and coach the swim team at the YMCA.
Being involved with these activities has strengthened my ability to work
easily with different types of people of all ages and to plan.
I would say my strengths are adapting smoothly, quick decision making and being responsible.
I do though have an issue with trying to get out of my comfort zone and speaking out when in awkward and uncomfortable situations.
That's why I hope Iowa Big can help me become less introverted and more comfortable with people unfamiliar to me.
I also hop they can allow me to pursue my passion in technology.
After graduating I plan on going to either ISU or Drake to study technology and computers
and apply them to pieces/events/experiences like art, social media, music and movies.
I cant wait to start and see what BIG has in store!
