Today we're going to see how to use
the LINX ARES "collector" style vaporiser for resins.
If we open the box, we find the body of the vaporiser, this is it,
with its accessories. On one side, the USB charger, the cleaning tool
(a small brush), a replacement mouthpiece and a glass jar for extractions.
On the table we've kept the vaporiser, the Linx Ares,
the glass jar for resins, and we've grabbed a dabber and our collection of resins
in this silicone pot. Perfect, let's see how the vaporiser works.
First of all, remove the two caps. It's got one on the lower part, over the collector,
it's magnetic, we remove it, and another over the upper part, the mouthpiece.
Now we've got the vaporiser ready… to start it up we press the central button 5 times
and we can see the light blinks 5 times, to show us that it's now working.
We can also select 2 temperature settings, low temperature
or high temperature, by pressing the central button 3 times. If the light blinks once,
it's low temperature, in this case 2 blinks means high temperature.
We change it like this, now it's low, now it's high.
Perfect, we've got it prepared. Now what do we do?
Well, we take our glass jar, using our dabber we select
a bit of resin, this one for example, and we place it in the jar.
Simply taking the vaporiser and keeping the central button pressed, we put the tip
inside the glass jar to touch the resin and we can start to vaporise…
Easy, right?
I've already shown you how to switch on the vaporiser,
simply by pressing the central button 5 times until the LED also flashes 5 times.
To turn it off, exactly the same, press 5 times and the unit will shut down.
If we don't use it for 1 minute, exactly the same thing will happen exactly the same,
it will turn off if we go for 1 minute without pressing the Stop button.
Okay, we've seen that it has 2 magnetic hoods for mouthpieces
and for the collector, but let's see how it is disassembled to clean it.
It is very simple, it's all threaded.
In the mouthpiece for example, it unscrews like this, and we remove it.
Same with the colector, unscrew it and it's ready to clean.
And then, the battery and the body come inside this cylinder.
This cylinder will also serve as an air filter, the air enters
through the collector and will pass through this cylinder
to the mouthpiece that was here in this part.
Well, that also has to be removed and cleaned.
To clean it, either use wipes or a little isopropyl alcohol.
