Welcome to Unilever Algida Sarigazi Cold Store.
Your Safety & Health is our priority during your visit.
We would like to inform you about Emergency situations & main Safety hazards in the facility.
The most hazardous emergency situations in the facility are fire, earthquake and ammonia release.
Lifting equipment and truck movements in and outside of the warehouse are the operational hazards.
In case of emergency situations such as fire or ammonia release...
you will hear two different types of emergency alarms.
The flat alarm you will hear now is Emergency Team Summon Alarm.
This flat alarm means that there is an emergency in the facility. Please do not panic, stay where you are, check surroundings.
Never leave your host, obey the directions and pagings.
The wavy alarm you will hear now is Evacuation Alarm.
This wavy alarm means that there is an emergency in the facility. Please stop safely what you are doing and follow your host.
Always use emergency exit doors and emergency routes.
Use handrails if there are stairs on your evacuation route.
Walk rapidly to the Emergency Assembly Point and wait for headcount.
Istanbul is located on earthquake zone.
In case of earthquake, do not panic and huddle in the fetal position.
Wait until the earthquake is over, then proceed to Emergency Assembly Point.
In case of an ammonia release, proceed to the Emergency Assembly Point.
If there is a planned drill during your visit, you will be informed.
CALL 1176 in case of emergency to inform emergency services.
There are visitor safety rules during your visit. Please follow safety signs.
Use all the required personal protective equipment. Your host will guide you.
Please do not leave your host during your visit.
There is always traffic in/out of the warehouse, beware of the moving equipments.
Walking paths are indicated with yellow lines, always use walking paths during your visit.
No accessories are allowed in the warehouse according to safety and hygiene rules. No watch, No rings, No necklace, No tie...
Please remove all accessories before entering warehouse area.
It is an obligation to wear safety shoes, safety helmet, cold protection suit and reflective vest in the cold stores.
It is forbidden to eat/drink in the coldstore. Coldstores are glass free areas.
It is forbidden to take photographs in the warehouse without management permission.
All open and closed facility areas are smoking-free. It is only allowed to smoke at designated smoking areas.
Sarigazi Cold Store is a Zero Waste to Landfill Warehouse. All wastes are minimised, seperated and recycled/reused.
If you have any wastes during your visit, please use defined waste bins.
