Waching daily Jul 4 2017

Good morning, lovelies. As I'm about to start my second series of feminist

centered shows on my channel, I thought it was time to introduce myself and

explain to anyone who's interested - which may be no one, but - explain to anyone

who's interested exactly what my channel is all about. For those of you who don't

know, I am Cambrey Payne. I am autistic, I am a trans non-binary person, I'm a

full-time student studying Gender Studies and English literature and

Creative Writing, and I am also a writer and sort of musician... ish... kind of. I am

also a single parent of three. I think that's all you really need to know about

me. I am pretty interested in social justice. I often talk about feminism and

social justice as if they're interchangeable, I guess for me they are,

but I appreciate that not everyone sees things the same way. Um, and on that note

I have two shows now on my channel. The first has been running for a while, it's

called Adventures in Misandry. It's a show all about various feminist, queer,

sometimes racial topics - obviously, as a white person, I have to be kind of

careful talking about race, but I still think it's important that we do - these

videos are probably not going to make a lot of sense if you're not already part

of the feminist community. There's some in jokes, there's a lot of assumed

knowledge that can take a little while to develop, so if you're new to

feminism, this probably isn't going to appeal

to you. You might not understand why the title is meant to be humorous rather

than offensive, those kind of things. So if you are new to feminism, my new show

Camsplains is probably more your speed. It's aimed at being a little bit more

accessible to people who aren't in the feminist community, who are curious, who

maybe are anti-feminist even, just explaining where we're coming from, the

concepts that we use, the language that we use, to make it a little less

confusing. I know, having been part of the feminist community for a while, we tend

to forget that people outside don't always understand what we're

talking about, and that can be pretty alienating, so I want to do what I can to

make our community more inclusive to those of you who maybe aren't familiar

with us. Thanks for watching, thanks for visiting my channel. I hope you can

enjoy some of what I'm offering, and I will hopefully see you in one of my

other videos. Bye!
