Mass Effect Andromeda - Что с ней не так и какие у неё проблемы? - Duration: 8:53.

Hello, Ilya and the Krostplatform channel.

Today I would like to talk about sore, namely about the game, which was waited a very long time and placed very high hopes on this creation, but alas, everything happened quite differently.

So, this is Mass Effect Andromeda from BioWare.

Mass Effect is no longer to return, it is with this thought that I plunged into the world of the new game.

After the passage of the story of Shepard, the legendary trilogy, which forever left a mark on the heart of the players, this continuation of the franchise crossed out everything that was so dear to me.

After passing the story No, in the game not everything is so critical, although most of it drives the player into confusion. I understand that the developers have chosen the path by which they wanted to create a minimal connection with the last parts of the series, the game.

And so, the idea was almost successful, everything was aimed at the result, but to the great regret, they themselves got so confused in their own ideas and set goals that everything went on the opposite side. Therefore, I will consider this game as something separate and not related to the past parts, as the developers intended, so it will even be easier, because the difference between them is very huge.

I'll start with the heaviest for the players, this is the system requirements. When the first information about the glands that we need to work the game, everyone was in a small shock, although, as to say in a small, everyone was extremely surprised by what they saw.

The minimum system requirements that the game presented to your computer were very high, the GTX 660 and Core i5 3570, on the IvyBridge architecture. Although, by today's standards, these pieces of iron can be considered a minimum, as progress and technology do not stand still, due to which the power of the components is growing.

And if your PC conformed to the minimum hardware, then the developers themselves advised the players to play at minimum settings, HD resolution, in 1280/720 and with 30 frames per second. Well, okay, It seems not deadly.

But, with the recommended it turned out to be very much all fun. As you can see, as far as the video card is concerned, we were asked for 1060 GTX on 3 GB. Yes, this card is weaker than the 6 gigabyte version of interest, so at 15, well, it's not certain. And the Core i7 4790 processor on Haswell architecture.

But then, if you had such hardware, then the developers advised to run the game in Full HD resolution with a combination of ultra / high settings and a lock in 30 frames. Quite non-optimistic, really.

But it turned out to be only part of the problem, the main stone in the player's garden was the frigidity friezes and drawdowns, inexplicable and unfounded.

For example, I say so, my core i5 6500 configuration, overclocked to 4.5 GHZ, thanks for this 170 chipset and modified BIOS, GTX 1060 for 6 gigabytes and 16 gigs of RAM, coped with the game with a bang.

According to statistics, the processor in the heaviest scenes was loaded by 60 percent, the video card and even less in 55, this is at the lock 30 FPS and ultra settings. And in fact, the stock of the components was still very significant, to bring the frame rate closer to 60, but not so well.

At one point, all the indicators are drastically going crazy, the processor and video card make a leap into hyperspace and are loaded to the eyeball, but literally for 1-2 seconds. After everything comes back to normal. And this happens quite often. For those who say that you have overheated processor or video card, I will say right away. The processor is 42 degrees under load. Video card 60. And here the reason is absolute in another.

And already on the expanses of the network, patch 1.05 appeared, but no changes were made. Everything is also frisite.

Yes you can say, turn the settings to low and play, but that's just nothing changes.

The war never changes, and sometimes I incurred there.

Okay, that we are all about graphics and graphics, let's move to the basis. Although stop, where without washing the facial animation of the characters. The topic is jaded, but very funny. Therefore, I will say briefly and I think it is understandable.

As for the plot and the gameplay, it's not all bad. That is, during the first hour Andromeda can make you fall in love with yourself, but in the second hour the game twice breaks down all the positive feelings that you already managed to get. And this happens throughout the game.

There are plenty of quests, behind which there is an interesting story and live characters, which end up in meaningless flights back and forth back across the galaxy or in the collection of some nonsense

It's much more incomprehensible when the game sends us to completely empty tasks: for example, how to clean up camps, search for items and other trifles, which in fact do not want to waste time, well, that's true, I do not want to.

And the most interesting is that our main character, he is the Pioneer and his task is to search for inhabited worlds and establish contacts with extraterrestrial civilizations, but instead he jumps the whole game from one planet to another, in a passionate search for garbage.

And, unfortunately, there are a lot of such tasks in the game, so you need a little recommendation, do not waste your time on all this garbage, if you are interested in the story itself.

But the story itself is a completely separate issue. Our main goal is the colonization of the planets, so our heroes go for the Milky Way in search of a golden world, a new place to dwell, so to speak.

And nothing is found, only the planets that are already captured by the evil kett. Aliens who are in a completely different side of the cosmos, in another galaxy, but not strangely, do not differ much in development from us.

In addition to these malicious, bony overgrown monsters, we also find the once existing race, relics, ancient creatures, if you can call them so, which left their traces on the majority of planets and huge underground structures stretching for kilometers. And thanks to their technology, we will be able to change the climate on the planets and turn them into places suitable for settlement.

And so, throughout the game, we do what we carry from one planet to another, get acquainted with new races, discover and study the catacombs of relics and fight off the kett, who in turn are also interested in this technology.

From this, it turns out that the storyline is so simple and straightforward ... unlike the trilogy, I did not mean to tell you the devil, well, I'm a little bit.

Unlike Andromed, the worlds of the trilogy were worked out completely differently and more carefully, it was always clear that the action takes place in a living world that reacts to the hero and his actions - the galaxy felt the consequences of our decisions in the end. But in Andromede there is no such thing.

Everything remains unchanged, settlements do not grow, characters remain uncouth emanations of artificial intelligence.

But even put it all together, looking at all the flaws and shortcomings, Mass Effect Andromeda - this is the most ambitious and elaborated "scientific" fiction in the modern gaming industry. This is a very huge and very controversial game, the most interesting and enjoyable of which, will have to be pulled by the ears.

But still, it's Mass Effect, which will show us different planets, galaxies, tell us the history of the cosmos and teach us how to make the right decisions.

And if you are a fan of the series, then skipping this creation is not worth it. Yes, you will be very hard to get used to the fact that this is not the Mass Effect,

Completely different, with the fact that the game is played completely differently and not so well, but still, there is a very good story here, there are soul characters with whom you do not want to leave, even if they have clapping lips and eyes on the rollout.

To study the Andromeda universe, you need even if you have not played Mass Effect, never in your life.

How Are Search Engines So Fast? - Duration: 3:52.

You're looking for a file, and you know that you just saved it.

You know where you hoped this file was saved, but you just don't see it.

So you try searching your computer, and end up really frustrated.

This paper is due in ten minutes, and your computer is taking its sweet time searching.

And you know you have the right filename because you just saved it.

So you ask your friend Google where Word saves temporary files,

just in case your computer did something weird.

And in the blink of an eye, Google gives you an ordered list of relevant results.

Google's computers looked through trillions of Web pages,

ranked their relevance to your specific problem, and listed them in order for you.

Meanwhile, your computer keeps spinning away, taking thousands of times longer to search

a database a million times smaller than Google's.

So how does Google do it?

You might assume that Google's computers are just faster than yours,

and that's probably true.

But computing power isn't the main reason for Google's impressive speed.

Instead, it comes down to their famous algorithm.

An algorithm is just any kind of procedure that you follow in order to accomplish something.

And with Google or any other search engine, the algorithm is what turns your search

into pages of results.

The algorithm can work so fast because the search engine doesn't actually

look through those trillions of pages in that split-second between your search

and the results showing up on your screen.

That would take way too much time, and this isn't the dial-up era anymore.

We want our results now.

Search engines don't look through all those pages when you search

because they already did.

A search engine's computers are constantly crawling the Web.

They follow links from site to site, creating gigantic lists of which pages have which words,

how many times those words appear on each page, how important those pages are

to the rest of the internet, and all kinds of stuff like that.

The exact way a search engine decides which results to show you is generally a secret,

since they want to stop sites from gaming the system

so they're higher in the search results.

But it all depends on how these gigantic lists are sorted and combined into what's called

an index, which is a lot like the index you'd find in the back of a book.

When you search, the search engine's computers just check the index, find the entries

that are most relevant, and then send them back to you in the right order.

This might sound more complicated than searching the pages themselves each time,

but think about how much easier it is to find something in the book's index

than it is to flip and skim through every page to find what you're looking for.

The index is faster because whoever made it did all the work for you

by putting the book's topics in a nice, orderly list.

And their hard work is worth it, because the index lets you find whatever you want

way faster than you could've otherwise.

Google's computers also put a ton of time and effort into making the index,

but all that effort's worth it.

The index dramatically speeds up each of the roughly forty thousand searches

that Google answers every single second.

So why doesn't your home computer or laptop make an index

if it's easier to search through than files themselves?

Well, some modern computers do, which lets them search for files pretty quickly.

And those that don't can generally make an index if you ask nicely.

Or, really, if you change the right setting.

But some people tell their computers not to bother making an index, because making

and maintaining an index takes time and computer power that can slow a computer down.

If you search without an index, your computer pretty much has to

go through each of those files to see if it has what you're looking for,

which is why searching a computer can be so painfully slow sometimes.

And that's why you're watching your ten minutes tick away as your computer asks

each and every song you own if it's your term paper.

Positive English Phrasal Verb That Bring Happiness To People (Perk Up) - Duration: 7:08.

hi students its Shana your teacher from

espresso English dotnet and the phrasal

verb of the day is perk up this is an

interesting phrasal verb and you might

not have encountered it before but today

you're going to find out what it means

before I begin the lesson I want to

invite you into my phrasal verbs course

which is called phrasal verbs in

conversation

I made this course in order to help you

learn phrasal verbs in a more natural

way so some students try to learn

phrasal verbs by just studying long

lists of definitions and that's okay but

I think it's more interesting more fun

and more effective to learn phrasal

verbs through real situations so that's

what my phrasal verbs in conversation

course aims to do if you'd like more

information then click on the link in

the video description and you can see

what's inside the phrasal verbs in

conversation course you can see a free

sample lesson and you can sign up and

start those lessons today if you want so

let's get to today's phrasal verb perk

up here are the three possible

definitions remember that only one is

correct and as I'm talking I want you to

think about which is the correct meaning

and post your guests post your answer a

B or C in the comments to this video and

then keep watching to find out if you're

correct does perk up mean a to become

more cheerful or lively be to cooperate

with someone or C to express strong

gratitude let me describe a situation

let's say you have a young daughter

she's three years old and one day you

take your daughter out on a lot of

errands errands are tasks that you do

outside the house like going to the

supermarket the bank and the post office

this kind of thing and by the end of all

these errands your little girl is kind

of tired because it wasn't really very

much fun for her to

go to all these different places and do

all these different errands and so she's

in the car and she's kind of tired and a

little bit in a bad mood and she's

saying that she's hungry

and then you say hey why don't we go to

the toy store and immediately she perks

up and she starts talking about her toys

and she starts asking if you can buy

something at the toy store she perked up

when you mentioned the toy store so what

does it mean to perk up based on that

situation does it mean a to become more

cheerful or lively be to cooperate with

someone or see to express strong

gratitude what do you think the correct

answer and I hope you got it from my

description of this situation is a to

become more cheerful and lively so in

this example mentioning a toy store will

make usually a little boy or a little

girl

perk up she will get happier she'll get

excited

watch your full and livelier another

example of perk up is a lot of people

say that a cup of coffee can help them

perk up in the morning so if you're one

of those people who wakes up and you

don't have a lot of energy then drinking

coffee can help you perk up and become

happier and have an more energetic right

that's what lively means is to be more

energetic we also sometimes see the

phrasal verb perk up use with other

things that are not people when

something makes a situation a little bit

happier a little bit livelier one

example would be if you're decorating a

room in your house and the colors in the

room are a little bit subdued they're a

little bit boring maybe you just have

grey and black and white okay then you

might want to add some red or some blue

or some yellow paint to perk up the

design to make it a little bit happier

more cheerful

more lively so that's another example of

perk up in a situation where it's not

involving people it's a some thing in

this case a little bit of color making

the room more lively now we have one

more expression with perk up that you

might think is a little bit strange and

that is when someone's ears perk up so

what does it mean for your ears to perk

up it doesn't mean that your ears are

suddenly excited and jumping for joy

not literally anyway here's an example

let's say you're in your office and

nearby your boss is talking with another

manager and you can hear their

conversation but you're not really

paying attention you're focusing on your

own work and then your boss and this

other manager start discussing

promotions and talking about who's going

to receive a promotion this year well

then your ears would perk up that means

you would start becoming interested and

start paying attention to that

conversation about promotions because

it's interesting to you and you want to

know of course if you're one of the

people who will get promoted so if

someone says their ears perked up it

means they suddenly started becoming

interested or suddenly started paying

attention to something they were hearing

alright I hope now you understand what

it means to perk up and I'd love to see

you use this phrasal verb in your own

English so try to post an example post a

sentence in the comments of a time when

you perked up or someone else perked up

or you could use it in the expression my

ears perked up when you suddenly heard

something of interest to you I'd love to

see your sentences in the comments and

again if you want to get a lot more

practice with phrasal verbs then make

sure you check out my phrasal verbs in

conversation course because every single

lesson also has practice exercises and

actually inside the course you can send

your sentences to me and I will check

them and correct them to make sure that

you're using all those phrasal verbs

correctly I hope you enjoyed today's

daily phrasal verb lesson

and I hope I'll see you in the next one

bye-bye

A Ridiculously Rare Ford Torino King Cobra Prototype Is Up For Sale - Duration: 3:52.

A Ridiculously Rare Ford Torino King Cobra Prototype Is Up For Sale

It can be yours for $459,900.

The 1960s was an exciting era for NASCAR.

Competition between Ford and Chrysler was fierce, but the rivalry really intensified at the tail-end of the decade during the infamous "Aero Wars," which spawned some of the most outlandish cars the sport has ever seen with radical designs to make them faster and more aerodynamic.

When the Dodge Charger Daytona posted a serious threat to the automaker in 1969 with its brash nosecone and huge wing, Ford knew it had to step it up a gear to maintain its dominance in the series.

Ultimately, the car it intended to enter, the Torino King Cobra, didn't make it to the track, but two working prototypes were made – one of which is currently for sale on eBay Motors.

The orange Ford Torino King Cobra prototype can be yours for the modest price of $459,900, or potential buyers can make an offer to the seller.

That may sound like a lot, but opportunities to own a prototype car as ridiculously rare as this don't happen very often.

Originally, the Torino King Cobra was designed to show what a road-going version of the homologation special would look like, and comes equipped with a Boss 429 engine mated to a four-speed manual toploader transmission.

How much power the prototype produces isn't known, but the race-spec version was going to be fitted with a V8 tuned to produce 700-horsepower, positioning it as a serious threat to Dodge on the track.

Sadly, the Torino King Cobra project was caned before the 1970 NASCAR season. In the same year, Ford's president at the time, Bunkie Knudsen, was fired, and his replacement cut Ford's motorsport budget by 75 percent.

The final nail in the Torino King Cobra's coffin came the following year when aero cars were banned from NASCAR in the 1971 series. Both prototypes were bought by NASCAR team owner Bud Moore for $1,200 in total.

This particular prototype spent years gathering rust in a South Calolina field, before it was restored by two Ford fans who recognized its rarity.

Considering how hard it must have been to identify the car, let alone find all the race parts, they did a remarkable job restoring the prototype to such pristine condition.

Positivity Challenge - What's the good side of dealing with mental illnesses? - Duration: 4:58.

Hi!

so we are in the positivity challenge week

during this week I will be answering

every day one of your questions

that will try to challenge me

with finding the good sides

of very difficult and hard situations in life

I'd like to make clear

I do NOT underestimate the huge difficulty

of thess hard situations in life

these situations are definitely

NOT situations to wish for

what I am saying

that even in these difficult situations

you can choose not to concentrate

on the pain and the difficulty

but to try to distract yourself from these

by finding some good sides

and by trying

to make the best out of it

so the question for today

comes from

and again I'm sorry if I say it wrong

Sjarlie Wulp

that asks me what's the good side

of dealing with mental illness

such as depression or OCD

Thank You Sjarlie!

fooooooh...

this was actually the hardest question I got

especially when I was thinking about depression

I just didn't manage to think of good sides

of depression by myself

So I turned to the internet

and very quickly actually

I found few articles

that shade some light on the bright side

of being in depression

I put links to the two of them

in the description of my video below

these are the two articles I liked the most

and i just want to show you briefly

what they say

so the first article is

how depression makes you stronger

and it says:

Keedwell says there is good evidence

from long-term studies

to show that after their depression

many patients seem to be able to cope better

with challenges

for most, their vitality,

their social interaction

and their general health

actually improved on recovery

and so did their work performance

I know from patients

that it can also make you more realistic

in your outlook

you develop more empathy

to those around you

Keedwell suffered a bad spell of depression

in his thirties

it went on for months

but I did come out of it

and I think I was a better doctor

as a result

I certainly had more empathy

with my patients

It also made me put my problems

into perspective

and I probably had a little more humility

so this was a one article

and the other one is

can depression make us better people

and here it says

Tom Wootton takes the idea

further than anyone else

with his belief that

depression can be a beautiful part of your life

so then they just list a few benefits

of being in depression

one of them is creative thinking

in the way of being more artistic

here someone says

the slowing down enforced by the illness

helped sharpen her work

depressive bouts feed her art

great leaders who lived with depression

showed their most creative thinking

and leadership at times of crisis

they could face painful disaster

with the sense of possibility

that less emotionally tested leaders

failed to grasp

so here there are apparently some bright sides

to depression too

I know you asked about

mental illness in general

and not only about depression

but I guess each illness is different

and has its own points of light

but probably the common

between them all

is that you get a different perspective about life

perspective that regular people

without this illness don't get

and I guess this is also something valueble

however

I wish you and everyone

good mental and physical health

and I hope you liked my answer

to this question

if so, please hit the thumbs up

and you are welcome to follow me

by subscribing to my channel

and I hope I will see you in my next videos

answering more challenging questions

bye-bye
