How has the education system influenced your perspectives about feminism ?

By feminism, I mean the role of feminine. What is the role of female?

So, I have done my B.tech in Mechanical Engineering.

My courses in B.tech haven't helped me in, you know, developing my philosphies of feminism

But, I took some courses of literature.

So, recently I took a course with Sharmita ma'am, India through writer's eye

And I read stories of Tagore and all these people who used to write

about the atrocities that have been dealt on women

and that kind of stories actually helped me understand

what kind of problems women have been facing in the Indian society

and that kind of helped me, you know, understand the problems of women.

Tell me one word that immediately comes to your mind when you hear the word 'woman'

What has been a challenge being a woman?

I think the biggest challenge is trying to convince people how normal

like, there are some things jo people deem its very wrong for a woman to do

take menstruation for instance

people think that its so bad when girls have periods and stuff

Or when girls talk about sex, its deemed dirty

Or their clothes.

So, things which are very normal, which are very much normal in the society

in some cases, girls are deemed as.. no, they can't do such things

What do you think would be a challenge to be a man?
