but that's why i'm late.

i want to do the extra credit i didn't understand the assignment so i didn't

do it.

oh, im not feeling too good i think im going home

you are my favourite teacher alright im going to do my homework

uh, no you cant talk to my parents because they work a lot uh so uh yeah they dont really

have time for me so they definitely dont have time for you because they dont think im important

uh i didn't write the essay because my grandfather died.

Again?uh.. uhh, i had a doctors appointment

this year im gonna study everything my dog ate my homework

this semester im gonna study everything why i didn't show up for the exam?

well, my house caught fire.

unbelievable.

yeah, big flames everywhere.

alright this week im gonna study everything i did the assignment i swear no i promise

you i did it but i forgot it at home i really did it im not lying ill take it with me tomorrow

oh i swear my homework is on my computer but it wont open.

alright so this morning i got on my bike and i fell so this cute old man came to help me

and then he told me this story about how he couldnt get groceries alone because he was

so old, so i went with him to the store to get his groceries.

i did a good deed today miss, a good deed i did. and then i fed all his birds and thats

why im late.

my brother is sick my niece is sick

i needed to water my plants or they would die

yes i took that test did you lose my test yes i like her

But' what we can say

that it's possible.

that I can have my dream.

as we run toward it.

as we work on it. Day In and Day out.

That in the process of working on your dreams

you are going to incur

a lot of disappointment.

A lot of failure.

A lot of pain.

A lot of setbacks.

A lot of defeats.

but in the process of doing that

You will discover some things about yourself

that you don't know right now.

What you will realize is,

that you have greatness within you.

What you'll realize is

that you're more powerful than you can ever begin to imagine.

COUPLE OF MILES BEFORE THE

SUSPECT ENDED UP DITCHING HIS

CAR NEAR SHERIDAN.

OF THE ACCIDENT. THEY SAY THE

VIDEO SHOWS THE SUSPECT PARKING

AT A NEARBY RESTAURANT AND

GETTING OUT OF HIS TRUCK,

WALKING OVER TO LOOK AT THE

VICTIMS AND THEN RUNNING OFF.

IT HAPPENED IN THIS WHITE OLDER

MODEL CHEVY THAT YOU SEE ON THE

SCREEN.

IT HAPPENED SHORTLY AFTER 8:00.

POLICE SAY THE TWO PEOPLE WERE

TRYING TO CROSS THE STREET.

ONE OF THEM PUSHING THE OTHER

IN A WHEELCHAIR AT GARNETT AND

THEY WERE HIT BY THE TRUCK.

ONE OF THE VICTIMS, A WOMAN WHO

DIED RIGHT AFTER ARRIVING AT

THE HOSPITAL.

RIGHT NOW WE ARE WORKING TO

LEARN THE PERSON THAT POLICE

SAY IS IN CRITICAL CONDITION.

POLICE ON THE SCENE LAST NIGHT

STRESSED THE IMPORTANCE OF WHEN

YOU ARE WALKING, TO USE THE

CROSSWALK ESPECIALLY LATE AT

NIGHT.

THEY WERE CROSSING AWAY
