we haven't done a video since christmas
emm, how to say this...
we were trying stuff..

...we started a movie project...

Well, more seriously, why havent we been here since christmas,
mainly because...
because we had BIG gifts
and we took 2 months to unwrap them
pff that was shitty
aaah what the hell was that shitty joke
it hurts..
yea
so, basically
emm
it's because..
Well we wanted to do videos
we tried doing some
but well emm we had to..
*bad joke*
basically we wanted to try doing some fiction
but we quickly realised that doing fiction without it being embarrasing
well, it's a bit hard
it's not as easy as it seems
we tried some stuff in "christmas S&B"
so we were like:
"yeah we're gonna do a big project and it's gonna be awesome"
but we actually did it really badly
we did it with completely no preparation
and that was like 1 month after christmas s&b
when we started that
so..yeah
we're really hard workers
yeah but we went out and filmed some videos but
not really..
-we filmed random stuff -well we filmed stuff but we never finished them
for example we filmed a new intro for the channel
-that took us 3 hours to film
-yeah it was kinda stop motion
yeah but well...
-it's complicated
-it would of been possible to do it but
since sonic isn't that great at after effects
in special effects at least
I had to do it
and since I have a shitty pc
well the pics that were like 10k in size
actually I don't really know how big they were but they were pretty big
well because of that after effects crashes pretty quickly
so it really wasn't possible
so we're back today
with an entirely new upload schedule
starting now, we're gonna try to do:
1 big video a month
like, a big project
on which we spent time, we worked on a storyboard, we made a script and everything
we're gonna work hard on it
to do things well
so 1 video like that a month
and, once a week
we post a "fun" video
usually a face cam video
so it doesn't take too much time to film
and it's not too long
so there is still content on the channel
while we work on bigger projects
yeah -that's it
you could of explained it because it was your idea

-so we're gonna try to do that in march

so when we film this it's the first of march
so we're already fucked
so let's say, the "fun" videos will be in the week
either thursday, friday or saturday
yeah anyway it'll be towards the end of the week
-and the big video will come out either at the end of the month or the start of the next one
yeah that's it
and we hope we can keep up the paste
and really do something great
and also, for the people who still think we only do movie reviews,
know that reviews are boring
nobody really likes them
because, it's boring
I mean, seriously the reviews are just too long
even us while watching them we realise that after ~1min it gets boring
-yeah kinda
-yeah also it's hard to do. -it gets boring really quickly
but videos from christmas s&b are just better
because we tried new stuff
-because it's fun
it's fun, there's cool shots, it's fast paced
-it's shorter, more interresting and that's it
there will probably be videos like that during the week
and you can see that in the youtube stats
you know in the relative audience retention -yeah I see
if most of the video is over the middle line, it's really good,
but if it's under it, it's bad
and we could see that on the old videos, the audience retention was shit
but on the christmas s&b videos, it was really great
so we actually have proof, we're not just saying this randomly

so clearly a lot of people weren't watching the whole video
and we want them to watch the whole videos
because we take time on them and ..
-yeah we take time
people think we never do anything but when we go out, we try to record videos 90% of the time
and we end up recording a lot of stuff but 90% never gets made
-yes
and we want things to go out and be proud of what we do,
and we want you guys to like it
and we want it to be fun, and work went into it
so each month there's a lot of work that goes towards a video
and each week there's less work but it's still fun
so yeah
-like that I don't spend a lot of hours working on videos
we're gonna share the editing now
-yeah, we're more often gonna work on my pc
yeah generally
especially on big videos with a lot of vfx
yeah especially the end of month video
well maybe, without spoiling, I don't think there will be a lot of vfx in the first one
well, idk we can maybe try stuff
