Waching daily Mar 3 2017

Hi there YouTube friends!

Welcome to a new video

Today I'm doing another one of those vlogs where I talk and talk...

talk and talk... talk and talk...

and never shut up

I talk and talk...

but today I'll try to make a shorter vlog

last one was too long

and it took too much time to edit and that's not the idea

the idea is for this to be faster

so I have more time to do the Metal Covers

which I know is what you like the most from the channel

and speaking of Metal Covers

a lot of people keep on asking about the new Dragon Ball Super opening

Paulo do the new Dragon Ball Super theme!

Are you going to do the new Dragon Ball Super theme?

Paulo Limit Break X Survivor!

Paulo do the Dragon Ball Super theme!

Limit Break Survivor!

Paulo do the new Dragon Ball Super theme!!!

I've mentioned it in several videos

but I usually talk about it at the end

and you never watch the videos till the end

But anyways, I decided to talk about this at beginning of this video

so you don't miss it...

so you can tell your friends...

Yes, I'm already working on the new Dragon Ball Super theme

It's not ready yet but I'm working on it

I warn you outright that I'm doing it in Japanese first

and right now what I'm doing is trying to see how I'm going to extend the theme

since I don't want it to be as short as it is in the series

I want to extend it a little so that's what I'm contemplating how to do

I really liked the theme and it fits great for a Metal Cover

I think you're gonna like it

I haven't been able to make progress with this theme cause I was working on the one from Samurai X

and after I finished it I was a little sick for a couple of days

and my birthday was coming up so...

I decided to take a little break

to really enjoy this time of the year

By the way, I want to thank all the people who sent me birthday messages

some of you sent me voice notes

some of you sent me drawings

But I want to especially thank the people who sent me a message through the Fan Club

Joaquín, Gustavo, Laura, Paula

and Mai of course, who was the one that organized this idea

Thank you very very much

I had never been sent a present like that

it was really special for me

it was a really nice detail

and I was already having a great birthday

so that made it even more special

I think I already wrote to all of you on Facebook or I left you a message or something

if you haven't seen it, go check your Facebook

Thanx again

and for those who don't know the Fan Club yet

I invite you to visit the Facebook Page and like it

I'll leave a link in the description

I'll also leave the link to the video they sent me so you can watch it

Well, one of the things I wanna talk about today

is that I already have some events scheduled for this year

and with "some" I mean I have two scheduled events

The first one is at Quito

I'll be to participating in an event called Quito Game Show

during April

It'll take place during the April 7th (Friday), 8th (Saturday), and 9th (Sunday)

On Friday I'll have an acoustic presentation

if you've seen the acoustic videos in the channel you can have an idea of how it's gonna sound

I don't know what I'm going to play yet

I haven't decided

if you'd like to listen to something in particular

Please leave a comment

In a certain way this will be like an opener for Saturday's concert

in which I'll be with singing along with the backing tracks I've recorded for the Metal Covers

it will probably be a little longer

so I hope to see you all there

both days

I'll leave the event info on the video's description

so you can check it if you're from Ecuador

where it is and all that stuff

The other event is going to be here at Bogotá

I had already told you I was gonna try to organize something here

and it's almost ready

the idea is to have a concert like the one we had at SOFA, with the whole band

it's gonna be on May

Probably on the 20th, though it's still not confirmed entirely

there are some things left to solve

so as soon as I have the info verified and everything is super organized

I'll tell you about it again in the channel and of course the Facebook page and everything

When we played at SOFA we had a great time

but we were left wanting to play some more

So we want this concert to last longer

the idea is to do this event on a Saturday afternoon

around 3pm and it's gonna be at Ozzy Bar

as soon as its all ready I'll give you the complete info

If you'd like to see me in your city the only thing I can recommend you do

is spamming the event organizers

so maybe they may contact me

I have another couple of pending events

but I can't tell you about them until they're confirmed

Well, these were the news I had for you today

and now I want to talk about a topic that came up again in the last few weeks

and it's about the Metal Covers

Why I take so long to do the Metal Covers

I think most of you still don't understand how these videos work

How I do these videos

so I'll give you a little explanation again

For these videos I usually work by myself

most of the work depends only and exclusively on me

there are few parts of the process where I have help

and it really isn't because I don't like people helping me

but because it's very difficult to schedule things with other people so they can really help me out

Once I have selected the song I'm gonna do

the process begins by thinking the version through, getting some sort of idea of how it's going to work

this generally occurs when I'm like...

going to bed

or when I'm taking a shower

on one of those moments when

ideas come to your mind

and that's when I start visualizing the cover

usually during this time I'm listening to the song a lot

trying to identify the arrangements

looking for the details that make the song easy to identify

Basically what I do is record a guide guitar

that helps me work on the drums

so I can record everything else on top of it

sequencing the drums takes time but once it's ready it gets easier to get everything else done

what I do is record the guitars

two rhythmic guitars on each side

and some leading guitars

and I also record the bass

the bass is something I can do particularly fast

You generally can't clearly identify the bass

so I can get away with some things that aren't really perfect

but the bass really helps for the song to sound with "cojones"(balls)

as Metal should sound

with "cojones"

after that I start recording vocal demos or the actual vocals

backing vocals and all the vocal arrangements

and the Keyboards that include additional instrumentation

and sometimes this includes effects that make the song sound more epic

you guys don't notice most of these effects

but they create an atmosphere behind the song

that gives it a special tone

that makes it different from other versions and it makes it sound more epic

when I'm finished recording I proceed to mixing

mixing is when you set the volume

and you organize the song in frequencies

the guitars sound in these frequencies...

the vocals in these ones...

this will be at that volume

If I started mixing every song from scratch

this step could take a lot of time

but what I do is that I already have some presets

which are the settings I've already used for previous songs

I just apply them again to the tracks I have

and with that I save a lot of time

but I always have to rearrange some things

When I finish mixing or at least I have a first version

I can send it to Manuel, who works on mastering the song

What I send to Manuel is a stereo file

an audio file with two channels, left and right

mastering is the last step

in musical production

and what Manuel does is try to make the most out of the file I send

he only has a file so he can't change volume

he can't change the frequencies in each sound

but he can improve the final sound of the song

Some people have written to Manuel

because of his name, Manuel Karakas, some think he's latin

but Manuel is a sound engineer who lives in Germany

He's from Germany, so he doesn't speak spanish

so if you send him messages in spanish he'll have to use google translate

to understand what you want to say

I'm sure Manuel will be watching this video so

Hi Manuel!!!

Manuel's help has been very important to improve the channel's quality

besides mastering, Manuel gives me feedback on the mixes I send

We can talk about the mix and he tells me what he didn't like or what could be better

and this helps me a lot to improve the quality of my mixes

before working with Manuel I would send my mixes to some people I knew

but they rarely gave useful feedback

what most of them told me wasn't very accurate

instead Manuel made very specific comments or gave very specific advice

that really helped me to improve the mixing

Manuel started helping me after Chandelier

and if you listen to the next song, Pegasus Fantasy

the quality improved a lot from one song to another

While Manuel is mastering the song I record the video

this is a matter of setting up the camera...

Studying the songs... generally I'm not playing the song from start to finish

So I have to practice the song to play it in the video

I'm doing playback in the videos

I'm never recording while I'm recording the videos

I did that for a couple of videos when I was getting started

but it didn't allow me to make the video in a way that looked good

It was very limiting visually

so I decided to record everything like a video clip

everything on top of the finished song

so I can set the camera the way I really want

and for instance, playing the guitar

since I'm not as good with it, it's kind of difficult to focus on playing well

and make something visually attractive

so I practice in a similar way to how I'd practice for a concert

which is trying to play in the best possible way

while I try to do weird faces and move around

and while I try to do something that's entertaining to watch

I think most people don't understand how I record the videos

If you're interested to see how I have everything set up here at home

you can leave a comment below

and maybe I could make like a mini tour

of what I use to record the videos

and how the general production of all the songs works

sometimes the videos look very complete

but it's actually just me in this room

this is a small room

and this is a wall

I know it doesn't look like it but it's a wall

this is as far back as I can go

so this is a rather small room

and I have to work out ways to make the videos look as good as possible

so it doesn't look low quality, but rather professional

That requires a lot of time, and a lot of takes

from many different angles

to make the video look fluid and interesting

When I have the complete mastered version

and the video recorded

I proceed to edit the video

and this is a less creative process

There's usually less creativity when editing the video

it's more about cutting where is needed

and cuting things in a way that looks good

but it takes a lot of time

it takes a lot of patience

and there isn't really a way to skip the steps

you just have to work until it's done

sometimes I add some different filters and special effects

like weird blurs and stuff that makes the video look more exciting

and when all that is finished I render the video

to see how it will actually look when I upload it to YouTube

I generally do at least one test

I upload a version of the video to check how it looks on YouTube

and with that I decide wether it's okay

or if I have to change things a bit

so it looks the way I want

The process isn't easy at all

I tend to end up a bit burned out

especially when it comes to recording the videos

it's pretty much the opposite of the rest of the activities

since I'm mostly sitting still

when I record the videos I spend a lot of time standing in front of the camera

moving around and...

trying to make things look really exciting

so it's like giving a really really long concert

like 8 hours

playing in front of the camera

changing things, the lights, the camera angle...

and repeating the song over and over again till it's good

It usually takes a lot of time

but for me it's worth doing as much as I can to get the videos looking as good as possible

that's why I thank you so much for sharing the videos and commenting

for keeping up with the channel

the channel hasn't returned yet to the point it was at before YouTube changed the notifications

so I'd be very thankful if you could activate the notification bell

...share the videos and talk to your friends

or the people you know who watch the videos

so maybe the channel can return to that point

so you can understand what I mean

the channel had reached a point where

in the same day I posted a video

it would reach almost 9000 views

now it takes 2 or 3 days to reach that

and people are still telling me

they didn't know about certain video

that they aren't getting the notifications

so it's kinda sad how YouTube changes things

and it bothers the channel

but well, I have to keep working anyways

I think that's enough for today

if you have more questions about how I make the videos

or suggestions and ideas about things you'd like to see in these vlogs

you can leave them in the comments below

as always don't forget you can support me by buying the songs I've uploaded to the channel

also you can follow me on my social media and suscribe to the channel

that's it for now so see you in the next video

Mata ne! (See you next time!)

What are you doing?

What does it look like?

Looking through DVD's.

That's because that's what I'm doing.

Yes, but why are you?

I'm trying to find something to watch.

Oh.

Any luck?

No, it's just a bunch of random DVD's that I don't even know where they came from.

Like this one.

I never even had a piano, much less wanted to learn it.

Or how about this one: "The Pirates of Penzance".

What even is a Penzance?

I think it's a place.

Whatever, but why do I have it?

Why would I know?

I don't know, does it say somewhere in your contract?

That's not how it works.

I know, I'm just frustrated that I can't find anything good to watch.

You have a Netflix account, why not just find something on there?

Because Netflix is even worse, they have a lot more of the "why does that even exist?"

and not a lot of "oh hey, I've been wanting to see that movie."

Well you could buy something off Google Play.

Are you kidding?

I don't have money to spend on that, I can't even afford a decent camera.

Well then why not do something outside.

Because, outside is boring.

It's only boring if you let it be.

All there is outside is nature, there's no TV or anything.

There's fresh air and that would be good for you.

Okay Mom, I'll get my sneakers and jacket and we can go to the park and play on the

swings.

Woo hoo, here we are, outside.

We're already out here, so you might as well try to enjoy yourself.

Enjoy myself doing what?

There is nothing out here but cold air, bacteria and wind chill.

Two of those were basically the same thing.

If you want to have fun, just make something up.

What do you mean "make something up"?

You see that guy over there?

Yes.

Tell me about him.

I don't know him.

Make something up.

Fine, I'll go along with your little game, but don't think I don't see what you're doing.

That man's name is Carlos.

To look at him you'd think he was just a normal guy, but he's just escaped from a remote prison

in Russia.

Why was he there?

He's a hit man who managed to assassinate someone very high up in the Russian government.

Unfortunately for him, he didn't make it out of the building in time and got caught.

He spent the next two months moving between solitary confinement and being tortured while

the KGB tried to find out who sent him.

But Carlos is strong and didn't tell them anything.

But finally, after the two months mentioned, Carlos managed to escape the prison.

He walked for hundreds of miles until he got to a dock where he stowed away on a ship bound

for Mexico.

Mexico?

The man who hired him is a powerful drug lord.

After Carlos arrived in Mexico he tracked down the drug lord and demanded his money.

The Drug lord was so surprised to see him that Carlos realized he had tipped off the

KGB to him and caused him to get captured.

This made Carlos very angry.

You don't want to make Carlos angry.

After that incident Carlos sneaked across the border where he planned to live out his

days in a suburban area as a normal guy, but he soon realized that there were a couple

of people who had figured out the truth about him.

Obviously, Carlos couldn't allow them to live or it would ruin everything.

See?

When you put your mind to it you can have a good time, even outside.

Huh, that guy is walking over here, I wonder what he wants?

Hello, my name is Carlos.

I just moved here and don't know anybody.

Hello.

Hey, his name is Carlos, just like-

Faceup Tutorial №57 Pullip OOAK Custom doll repaint and assemble tutorial by WillStore - Duration: 5:37.

Hi Guys!

It's time to continue Pullip customization!

She's already sealed twice, so i just start to color the lips and make blush with softpastel.

I paint the brows with pastel and watercolor pencil as an monster high dolls.

Drawing the eyelashes.

I start it with the lightest brown pencil and then layer by layer make it darker and

more saturated.

The painting process of the upper eyelids is different for Pullip or BJD and Monster

high dolls.

You should make just a winged eyeline and you don't need upper eyelashes, because

they will be glued.

I forgot to film how I painted the eyelids with airbrush…

Sorry!

They have metallic effect.

So Cool!

I saturate lips and eyelashes.

Here comes my black pencil.

Yes it's too old and short, but i love it!

Take PVA glue, dolls eyelashes, measure it and glue to the eyelids.

Now goes my favorite life hack.

Take human eyelashes curler and curl doll's eyelashes! voila!

it's much more cute!

Now we will assemble Pullip.

You can see previous video in reverse or continue this.

Hook the springs to the eyelids.

Insert eyelids in the head.

Don't forget about eyelashes!

Put in eye mechanism and tighten the 3 screws.

Insert the levers and hook them for spring.

Put in the body and head cap.

tighten another 3 screws.

And Pullip is done!

She can open and close her eyes, change direction of the sight and she is so lovely!

Hope this video vas useful for you!

Please leave your thougts about Blythe and Pullip dolls in the comment section.

Do you like them?

Hope to see you again!

The AI Poker Champions - Duration: 4:56.

There are all kinds of games that computers are better at than humans these days.

Chess.

Jeopardy.

Go.

An artificial intelligence, or AI, is a computer system designed to solve the problems you'd

normally expect to need a human brain to solve.

And the latest advance?

AIs are getting real good at beating humans at poker.

I'm Stefan Chin.

And you might recognize me from my riveting performance on the SciShow Quiz Show.

And today I'm here to tell you about how artificial intelligence is taking over the

world.

In January, an AI called Libratus beat 4 expert human players after playing about 120,000

games of poker.

And in a paper published yesterday in the journal Science, a separate research group

announced that their AI, called DeepStack, beat 10 out of 11 expert human players after

playing about 45,000 games.

Both AIs played a version of poker known as Texas Hold 'em, where each player gets two

facedown cards that only they are allowed to look at.

There are also five face-up cards that everyone can see, and three rounds of betting.

Most of the games that AIs have conquered so far, like the strategy game Go, are what

are known as perfect-information games, meaning that all the players have the same information

about the game.

For example: in chess or Go, both players can see all the pieces on the board, so they're

making decisions based on the same information.

But Texas Hold 'em is an imperfect-information game.

Since players can't see each other's face-down cards, they don't all have the same information.

That makes things much more complicated, because you have to make guesses about the other player's

hand.

Like, say your opponent raises the bet.

Is that because they actually have great cards?

Or are they bluffing because they think you're bluffing?

And do they think you're bluffing because in the last round of bets you thought they

were bluffing?

Those kinds of brain-bendy questions come up in imperfect-information games all the

time, and these two new AIs each used different techniques to figure out the most likely answers.

They both only played against one opponent per game, which helped because the more players

there are, the more ways the game can play out.

But they also both played the no-limit version of Texas Hold 'em, meaning that the players

could bet however much they wanted.

And that made things harder, because when you can bet whatever you want, the results

of each round affect the way you bet in the later rounds, so the game has way more possible

outcomes.

Specifically, there were 10^160 possible outcomes for each game.

That's a 1 with 160 zeroes after it.

It's a number so big, that there's no way even the most powerful computer could

actually consider all of those possibilities.

For the Libratus AI that won against 4 people in January, researchers first had it play

literally trillions of games against itself.

They programmed it to learn from those games so it could work out the best strategies in

different situations, based on how the rest of the game would play out.

Then, they unleashed Libratus on the four human players in a massive tournament that

lasted 20 days.

At first, the human players found some weaknesses in the AI's gameplay, and for the first

six days or so, they weren't losing too badly.

But the researchers also designed the AI to learn from its games against the human players.

So every night, it would refine its strategies before the next day's games.

And around the seventh day, the AI started beating the humans by a wider and wider margin.

By the end of the tournament, it had won more than $1.2 million.

On the other hand, the researchers behind the DeepStack AI, designed it to use neural

networks.

Neural networks involve layers of processors working together to solve a problem, with

each layer using the results of the other layers in its calculations.

It's a strategy that's modeled after the way brains work, and it's being used in

some of the most advanced AIs in the world.

Like Libratus, DeepStack trained itself by studying random games — although it only

looked at about 11 million of them.

But Deepstack wasn't designed to consider how a move would affect the whole rest of

the game before deciding on a strategy.

Instead, it looked at how different decisions would affect only the next few moves, then

used what it had learned about the game to calculate whether those next moves brought

it closer to winning.

So DeepStack tries to forecast how the next part of the game might go, without trying

to predict the whole thing.

And when the researchers had DeepStack play against 11 expert human Texas Hold 'em players,

it outperformed 10 of them across thousands of games.

So even though Libratus and Deepstack were designed very differently, both AIs mastered

a complicated, imperfect-information game.

And now there's one more thing that computers are better at than humans.

But this is a big step toward some broader advancements, too.

There are lots of real-world situations where you have to make decisions even though you're

missing some information, just like in Texas Hold 'em.

And the success of these two AIs means we're on our way to creating systems that can analyze

those kinds of problems better than a human can.

For things like deciding on the best treatment for a disease, that's an awesome plus.

And these AIs could also be useful for things like stock trading and diplomacy.

One thing's for sure, though: the future is gonna have some amazing AI poker players.

And I for one welcome our new robot overlords.

Crashing: Guest Star Fan Club: T.J. Miller (HBO) - Duration: 2:17.

Please give it up for T.J. Miller, everybody.

-T.J. Miller! -(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Hey, good job, man.

Yeah!

If you drive me to Manhattan, you can crash at my place.

Come on. Let's do it!

I've known T.J. for over a decade.

He's been one of my best friends. He's amazing.

We met in Chicago, where we both, uh, started.

He was this guy who I had never seen

do stand-up like that.

Tits like BAM!

-You know what I mean? -(CROWD CHEERS)

"Ass like BAM!"

(AUDIENCE MEMBER HOOTS)

He was improvising. And he was just demonstrating

what I call... "X factor."

We're all here in The Grisly Pear...

-(SCATTERED APPLAUSE) -Right?

Is it "grizzly pear," or "grisly"?

Do pears have animal fat in them?

They do here, at the Grisly Pear!

-(GROWLS) -(AUDIENCE LAUGHS)

I think it might surprise people to know that

T.J. was the guy showing up in some ridiculous outfit

that he deliberately wears so you'll laugh at him.

I know that I look like a maître d' who was fired

earlier on in the day, but has to finish his shift.

(LAUGHTER)

PETE HOLMES: T.J. is one of the people that knew me

when I was actually getting divorced.

So to be recreating it with some of the real people

was really, really fun.

Good morning, little fella! Get on up here!

HOLMES: I have stayed in his apartment many times, and it was so fun

to take some of those details, of course with his permission,

and make a fake T.J. apartment from 2007.

He did have a wall covered in clocks.

He did have the word "comedy" written backwards on the wall

so you would read it in the mirror.

We're just trying to give you a sense of who it is

that Pete is kind of thrusted into.

I have a prescription for marijuana.

It's for anxiety. Primarily anxiety

about getting arrested for marijuana.

On one hand, he kind of has this fun

-Yeah! -...maniac side.

But on the other, you're just like, "Oh, no, you're just

one of the smartest, most empathetic,

most sympathetic, and most caring people

I've ever known."

Comedy. Six letters, but a thousand reasons

it makes the human condition easier.

-Cheers. -(GLASSES CLINK)

Jennifer Lopez Addresses Her Romantic Future With Marc Anthony | Splash News TV - Duration: 1:03.

People aren't giving up on Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony getting back together some

day, despite the fact that they're divorced.

But J.Lo is clearing the air a little further, telling The View, "You know, Marc and I

are good how we are right now.

There is a reason we're not together but we're great friends.

We're parents together and we're even working on a Spanish-language album together."

Of course, J.Lo isn't elaborating on what exactly the "reason" is that they aren't

romantically connected, but she hints that they're better professionally.

She tells the View, "That has been even better for us because actually, we met working.

That's where we really are magical, when we're on stage together and stuff like that.

That's where we're good so we leave it there."

We guess we'll leave it there, too.

After all, it sounds like fans won't be losing out

on anything.

on Thursday who was born weighing in at 5lbs 12 oz.

The former reality star couple announced the news to People Magazine in October and since

then Tori has been posting photos of her pregnancy all over social media.

She told People, "It was a total surprise, but we always wanted a big family.

I'm really excited."

Thankfully this time around Spelling did not endure placenta previa— a serious condition

that causes severe blood loss, which she experienced during her last pregnancy with son Finn.

Dean told People, "The doctor said that considering everything that happened the last

time, this a miracle baby."

We're glad to see a healthy arrival for the loving couple!

Tilda Swinton Wows in Unrecognizable Old Man Makeup | Splash News TV - Duration: 1:07.

Wow, talk about movie magic!

You're looking at the face of Tilda Swinton!

The actress is on the set of a new movie, where she appears in heavy makeup…

Apparently she's taking on the role of an iconic party baron of the DDR East Germany

during the Cold War.

We're not sure, but whoever has done the makeup job for Tilda better get ready for

their special effects Academy Award…

Because in all honesty, there's a slight chance that we're actually just showing

you an old man in Berlin, Germany.

Cause seriously, who can really tell?

We did get a clue that she's filming Suspiria [spl1453935_027], her new film that does take

place in Cold War era Germany, but Tilda is supposed to play a character named Madame

Blanc, not an old guy, so…

Sorry if that's a huge spoiler.

Anyways check out how great prosthetics have become these days, it's pretty amazing.

Lena Dunham Accentuates the Girls With a Chest Tattoo | Splash News TV - Duration: 1:09.

Well Lena Dunham, isn't that…

Something…

The Girls star got a Rihanna inspired chest tattoo, or as she so elegantly calls it, a

"tit chandelier."

Classy.

Lena captioned it saying "This is my first original piece by a female tattoo artist and

it felt sacred and cool and she didn't chide me for copying Rihanna's placement.

If you're ever in Oslo, go meet this metal queen and let her handle your body."

Even though Rihanna did get her chest tattoo back in 2012, it is a totally different design,

so we can't fault Lena for completely copying the singer.

According to Us Magazine, Rihanna's is also meant to be in memory of her late grandmother…

Lena's is just her 10th tattoo.

It's too bad Girls is in its last season on HBO, because we're not sure when Lena

will get the chance to go topless on premium cable to show it off.

But knowing her, she'll find a way.
