Orchestrating this is a dream come true
when you've done a lot of sugar- coated classics.
Because basically it's a bit like traditional late romanticist orchestration.
It's great fun to be able to use the orchestra like it's meant to be used.
It's an awesome feeling. It helps bring the music even more to life.
It's an incredible setting for us as composers.
Rehearsing with KORK is exciting. It's a new perspective for us.
We've used orchestras on records.
But never rehearsed with one. So it's a childhood dream come true.
It's very exciting.
We don't want to disappoint them by making mistakes.
For us, this is the pinnacle of our career so far.
As a band, we've always used a lot of symphonic elements in our music.
But we haven't been able to use a real orchestra.
We've had to use samples, synthesizers and so on.
So this will be a huge, awesome experience for us.
I dig it. I've loved Dimmu Borgir for ages, independent of the choir.
I think everyone in the choir likes doing something this different.
