so today we're in Yokohama i decided to
visit the cup noodles museum hopefully i
can film some stuff here and check it out
show you whats going on course it's the
home of the instant ramen noodle.
I'm actually going to go make my own cup noodles and
design my own Tokyo Drew cup noodles
this is the lobby here check out the
big cup noodles up there
chikin ramen looks pretty cool then over here
is all the different ramen and I guess in
Japan it's amazing
that's a lot of freakin ramen and then
they got other things over here to the
cello packs or whatever you want to
call it

Cup Noodles started in 1958 and I will walk around and show you the different years
and all the different noodles they had but start off
here with 1958...down the bottom 63 , 68,71

1989 up there 92 94 1996
some of these are still around actually
This is getting into the new Millennium here
if you like ramen this is the place to be
its pretty cool

it's pretty cool I don't eat noodles that much
All right, so I just came across a map here
map here and they show a bunch of ramen
noodles in the countries and if you look

global demand for instant noodles at the
2015 and you will consumption per
million serving and if you look closely
so basically looking at this
canada of this which is about 200
million per year
look at China and the big ones
it goes all the
up a lot of a lot of asian countries
eat a lot of instant ramen
chikin ramen instant noodle from 1958
not what were are used to eating now a days though
looks pretty cool in the museum here you
have to have the first shop where Ando Momofuku
actually created the instant ramen
this is a obviously a replica of
his store or his shop
its a food court of all different noodles
from around the world Korean Indian French
it's crazy, but pretty cool though
so before I go make my cup noodles here
just got an ice cream

really loud in here but yeah I finished
my cup of noodles it's the ugliest
cup of noodles you will ever see!

kinds
so as I'm waiting to fill up my cup
noodles just behind me is
where you actually make the ramen part of the
class i don't know what they're doing
over there when you get a head scarf
thing which is pretty cool and our
guess are just cleaning up inside and
this is the lineup to wait

I got garlic, onion, cheese and chicken ...or something
Finally after about an hour, I'm out of here
This is the end result
of fun for kids actually enjoyable
myself but I yeah it's very very loud so
if you ever come here prepared with
earplugs
ok so when you come here expect to pay
500 yen admission and then about 300 yen for
each thing that you want to do what you
want to make a cup of noodle things or
you want to make ramen and it's very
busy on the weekends saturday and sunday obviously
there's massive of kids here today as
you can see but even tour groups
here but again, ummmm....its kind of fun
check out the store, see what they have
I won't buy anything probably never know
but yeah it's worth the visit when you
yokohama, checkout the store, check out
things that you can do and seems to be
very quite eventful for children
too busy to film in the store here so
I'm outta here and i just found a really
interesting cup here
