Hello boys and girls, young and old. Welcome to yet another action figure video review.
Today we'll take a look at Transformers Mastermind Creations PS-06 Terraegis!
This figure is based on the G1 Trailbreaker character. And as you can see he comes with a small box.
You see him here in his robot mode.
On the top side of the box you see him in both of his modes.
On the bottom side of the box you see some warnings. The figure is for ages 15 & up.
On the sides of the box you see him in his robot mode.
And on the back side of the box you see him in both of his modes.
A small bio of him over here, you can pause the video now to read it.
And here you see his tech specs.
If you'd like to read them, use this red item and now you can see them more clearly.
This item comes with the figure.
Enough with the box, let's see the accessories of the figure now.
Trailbreaker comes with this card. Tech specs on the back side of the card.
A small bio of him over here.
He comes with this red item, you can use it to read the tech specs on his box. We saw it before.
He comes with an extra head for Mastermind Creations Sphinx.
He comes with a second head that is based on the G1 toy of Trailbreaker.
Two extra mirrors.
With these two clips.
Two pieces that tab in front of his hands.
Two weapons.
These two pieces.
And of course with the instructions, here they are.
So let's see the figure from close now.
And here we have, ladies and gentlemen, Trailbreaker in his awesome vehicle mode.
The first thing I noticed when I held him was his weight.
The figure has die-cast and you understand its weight, it's a heavy figure.
It has die-cast over here. This is die-cast.
It has die-cast behind the wheels. This silver bit, I don't know if you can see it from the camera, is die-cast.
Here as well, this is die-cast. Very nice figure. Nice vehicle mode.
The tyres are made of rubber material. Rolls fine. He has nice details. Blue head-lights. Flash-lights.
Chromed bumper. Side-mirrors. Nicely painted rear lights. Exhaust-pipes.
He looks nice. You can store his weapons in here. And it will look like this.
You can also put this bit in these holes. And it will look like this.
Mastermind Creations Trailbreaker is Masterpiece scaled. I am bringing in Masterpiece Ironhide.
As you can see, Trailbreaker is a liiitle bit bigger than Ironhide. He is Masterpiece scaled though.
Let's see if he can fit inside Masterpiece Optimus Prime's trailer.
As you can see he fits perfectly fine.
So let's transform Trailbreaker into his robot mode. I will ask my buddy Stefanos to do it, Stefanos?
- Hello from me as well. First, compress all the wheels inwards.
Open this piece from here. Disconnect this section from here. The upper part.
From here as well. This is the hardest part because it has two pegs that are going underneath this plastic.
Nicely done. Once you 've done it bring this piece up. Disconnect this bit from here.
As you can see, it tabs under the hood. Bring the leg back, like this.
Bring this bit up. Bend it 90 degrees. Put the mirror inside, like this.
There is a small plastic here, bring it out. Disconnect this piece, move it to the side a little bit.
Move this piece to the side. The wheel will be stored in here.
Once you do it, bring this piece down. Bring this bit up, this piece will tab in here.
Slide this bit to the other side to fill the gap.
The wheel didn't "sit" well. -_-
Bring the foot up. Bring the leg down and one leg is ready.
Do the same thing to the other side as well.
Bring this bit out so we won't forget it. Open this bit.
Put the wheel in here. Bring this piece down.
Connect it.
Bring this bit like this.
Come on...
They're tight so it's a little bit difficult to do it...
Bring the leg down and his legs are ready now. Bring this piece down.
And compress the torso inwards.
Before you compress it I want to tell you that this piece here is die-cast.
Bring this piece down. Disconnect the arms.
And as you move the arm, the window moves to his back. Do the same thing to the other side as well.
Bring this piece down.
Disconnect the middle part of the bumper. It has stucked a little bit.
Bring it down and compress these bits inwards.
Bring this piece down. Bring the head out.
The windscreen will come inwards.
We will try to connect these holes with some pegs that are under the head.
Which is one of the hardest parts of the transformation.
Once you connected it, bring this piece up. Bring the arms down.
Bring this piece up until it is connected. Extend his arms.
And before I show you how to bring the fists out, take these pieces and connect them here.
Take his gun. Remove the rear section. This piece goes backwards. And connect it here. You can do this from both arms.
And now he has his arm-cannon.
If you want to bring the hand out just pull it outwards.
And Trailbreaker is ready in his awesome robot mode.
And here you see Trailbreaker. Now the die-cast is more visible.
Here on his heels. These bits here that we saw them in his vehicle mode as well.
Nothing else is visible, it's inside his torso. I will give you a closer look to his head.
He doesn't have light-piping, his eyes are painted. He doesn't have big backpack. He looks great.
As for his articulation... his head can rotate 360 degrees, it can look up and down.
His arms can rotate 360 degrees, can move up and down, they rotate at the elbow, bend at the elbow.
There is fist rotation, his thumb is on a ball-joint, his index finger can bend at two points.
And the rest of the fingers can move individually from their base.
There is waist rotation. The leg can move back and forth, up and down, can bend at the knee,
rotate at the thighs, the toe can tilt left and right and can move downwards because of the transformation.
He has nice articulation. Also, this piece has two ways of storing it.
If you pull these pieces up...
...you can store it in here.
Or...
...you can use this accessory, I need to change it.
Behind his head, there is a peg. It will tab with this hole.
It will come behind his head. One cannon can be stored here on his shoulder.
Or...if you want...the rear section...
...it has these clips, they grab it like this, it can be stored here on the side.
It doesn't want to get in right now... -_-
It's too tight.
Anyway, I won't force it anymore, it goes in here. I don't want to break anything...!
So these are the storage places where you can store his weapons.
So let's see a size comparison now.
- Here is Trailbreaker next to Jazz and next to Sunstreaker.
And finally, here is Trailbreaker next to Masterpiece Optimus Prime.
As you can see, Trailbreaker is Masterpiece scaled.
So let's transform Trailbreaker back into his vehicle mode, Stefanos?
- First, close his hands.
Close them well.
Compress them inwards.
I forgot to compress the arm.
Disconnect the backpack. Open this bit as well.
Disconnect the windscreen from here and bring it to the front, like this.
Bring the head back. Bring the hood up.
Open the bumper and bring the middle part of the bumper up, now connect them.
Bring the arms up and now we will put them in here.
These pieces come out if you push them too much. Do the same thing to the other side as well.
Now connect these two pieces together.
Bring the windows close to the windscreen. Pull the torso up.
Bring this piece down and connect it with the windscreen.
And now we will work on his legs. Bring the foot down.
Move this piece to the side, like this. Disconnect this piece from here.
Bring this piece to the side, like this. Bring the wheel out.
And as it comes out...
...bring the mirror out. Close this bit.
The wheel has a peg here, it will tab in here, like this.
This piece will "sit" like this. Once you do it, bring this piece up.
And this piece will come up and it will be connected behind the hood.
Bring the rear section up as well. Connect it.
I forgot to say, bring this piece up. Before you begin with the legs. I missed this part. -_-
Do the same thing to the other side as well.
Bring this piece down. Disconnect this piece from here.
Bring this piece to the front.
Bring this bit down. Bring the mirror to the front so we won't forget it.
Bring the wheel out. It will tab in here.
Bend this piece like this. Bring this piece up.
And bring the leg up to connect it behind the hood.
Bring these pieces down. Bring the rear section up, like this.
Try to line up everything. Eh, it got disconnected from here.
This is the hardest part of the transformation. To line up everything.
Because there's not much space to move anything.
Bring this piece down. Try to connect everything.
Close this bit as well. Something is stucked here...
Finally, pull the wheels downwards.
And Trailbreaker is back into his vehicle mode.
- Final thoughts... Trailbreaker is a nice figure. Nice representation from the G1 cartoon.
A sturdy figure. Heavy figure because of the die-cast.
It has a little bit complicated transformation but the result is satisfying.
He has nice articulation, you can store all of his accessories.
He is nice. I liked him. That's all from me, Stefanos?
- Personally, I love this figure. Great representation from the cartoon.
I love the die-cast, it makes him a sturdy figure.
His transformation difficulty is intermediate, it's neither very easy, nor very difficult.
You just need to get used to it.
Very good plastic quality, smart engineering, he is worth the money.
