Hey Guys, this is Josh and I'm Amber with the Zelaya Productions and today we're talking

about why video is an effective marketing tool for your business

Did you know that 45% of people watch one hour or more of video per day more than

73% of people who watch a video make a purchase after watching it

But more than 80% of businesses who have used video in their social media or their website

have seen a big increase in sales

We've seen the power of video on one of the biggest video platforms out there YouTube

they reported that they have 1.8 billion viewers who login every month to watch videos and

a whopping 150 million hours of video are watched per day

Video is an effective marketing tool because it allows you to convert prospect to client

conversions when the prospect goes to your website or to your social media and they see

video they get to see your product and service and get to learn about your product and service

in their own time in a non-confrontational way which increases qualifying leads and allows

you to go from a warm lead to a client

Videos also increase engagement and build trust essentially this is because it allows

you to be more personal and for people to get to know you before you ever make a call

to that prospect use inquired on your website or before you ever meet them in person also

if you're putting out content consistently that tells a great story or is educational

and you're providing real value to your viewers it not only allows you to build a long-term

clientele but perhaps a long-term following of people who will consistently share your

content with others are we've seen this with our own video we did a review on our YouTube

channel and I'll let Josh talk more about that

So basically this review what we did was we reviewed two lights that were using that I

every production that we do kinda educate anybody on YouTube and other filmmakers out

there that if they want to buy a light they should consider these two lights and I kinda

went through different points interesting thing was that video was one of the most viewed

videos that we have done more than 17,000 views and a lot of engagement a lot of filmmakers

saying hey thank you so much I love the review it was just me give you my opinions about

the both lights at different price points and they loved it and allow them to trust

a company that I was talking about and purchase the item

Also we've seen it with the dawn of influencer marketing age you know back in 2005 when you

Youtube kind of first rolled around or was first getting popular we saw the emergence

of the daily vlog and for those of you who don't know what a vlog is Josh

Basically you know you had different people just carry their camera with them everywhere

they went and they wanted to show you everything they did and how their life was in the lifestyle

and kind of just give you tips give you advice to show you who they were

And now we see that they're even really famous entrepreneurs out there to name one of them

off the top of my head someone that we follow is Gary Vaynerchuk of VaynerMedia he's putting

out of log called The Daily V and it just goes back to our point that you know it builds

trust because he's putting out completely free content that is so valuable people that

it's become viral

Video provides visual explanation so if your product or service is very complex video could

definitely help with that we have clients that come to us and said Hey Josh we definitely

got to educate the market into what the product is or how to use it at same time if your service

you know for you to sell your service from prospect to a client if your sales cycle is

very long video that definitely helped them a determine what do you need what they want

in your service to shorten the cycle

Also you can highlight areas of concern with your clients or even confusion you know concepts

that have confused them as well.

And last but not list and probably most important for the longevity of your business is that

videos increase brand awareness when you're putting out videos that are well-planned well-produced

thoughtful telling great stories you're more likely to evoke an emotion whether you're

entertaining your audience you're educating them or you know you're telling a story that

might be tragic you are when you're evoking emotion you are inspiring people to act

Exactly and I think one of the companies who is a lot is for example Nike one of many they

basically really evoked the emotion of just do it right and allows you to go ahead follow

the action I think they have definitely done that into brand awareness just even go look

at their YouTube channel you will see the surface of what they're doing and it's just

funny stories very compelling stories

Or serious stories

Or serious stories depending on their campaigns and a lot of the times it's not just about

the product is really about the story but they always finishes off with their brand

giving that brand awareness so thats definitely one of them that comes to mind

And to that point video also allows you to be memorable and stand out from your competition

there are you know likely several businesses out there that are probably doing the same

service as you are or maybe they have the same type of product that you're selling but

your story is compelling your story is unique and that can help you stand apart

Lets step back and summarize this thing video is the number one tool you could use this

year to stay relevant and to beat your competition

For the main reasons it allows you to engage your target audience and to tell your story

and most importantly to business owners at the end of the day
