Wouldn't it be great
if you could get a list of email addresses of the people who watch your
marketing videos? As it turns out there's an easy way to do this
There's a handful of online services that can help you do this.
And right now I'm going to show you how to do it with Wistia because it's available for free.
Start by creating a Wistia account and upload a copy of the video that you want to collect email addresses from.
Then, open up the customize window and click on Turnstile. Wistia enables you to set up what they call a
turnstile, which displays an email opt-in form on top of your video.
After you add the turnstile,
click save and then copy the embed code for the video and paste it into your website.
Now when people watch the video
they will need to input their email address before they're allowed to watch the video.
Inside Wistia, you can see a list of email addresses from the people who watch your video.
This is pretty useful for finding out who is seriously interested in learning more about your business.
You can also link this up to certain email marketing services so that people who opt in can get
automatically added to different email marketing lists.
