International Logistics Video Presentation - Plastic Straws - Duration: 4:54.

Good day

My name is Loh Yeng Yeng and today I'll be bringing you on an insight on the topic of plastic straws and its supply chain

management, the types of information management used and the future of the industry.

The supply chain begins with outsourcing suppliers for raw materials and components to make plastic straws

This part of the supply chain requires a supplier services

workers and tools to extract the key components in making plastic straws

this consists of fossil fuels crude oil and natural gas liquids

the components are then transported to the

manufacturing plant to be made into the end result the process of plastic straws being made began with blend of plastic mixtures and additives which

Are then extruded into shapes of long tubes

next they are packaged into boxes for shipment by the employees or machinery. This part in the supply chain requires

land, factory, energy, utilities, employees and machinery.

employees then load the finishing straws into trucks to be transported and

distributed to distributors which consists of retail outlets, bars, restaurants

convenient stores, and hotels. In the basic of supply chain management, flow of physical materials in which this case are straws

Goes from suppliers to manufacturers and manufacturers to the end users. As for the primary cash flow

Payment in exchange for the straws are moved down from the end users to the producers

Reverse logistics is defined when the movement of goods

flow from the consumer back towards the producer. In other words,

it occurs when the straws are returned because they either faulty or does not satisfy the consumers' needs

The use of information management systems plays a crucial role in the supply chain management

as communication is needed to flow back and forth along the chain to ensure right production activities are taken.

Transaction processing system (TPS) is used to track and record daily business routine transactions

such as its production activities, point-of-sales, order entries and many more.

The management information system (MIS) translates these TPS data into readily accessible formats to manage the organisation and monitor performances

which provides real time information that enables the organization to reflect and respond.

The plastic straw industry also uses office automation system

to process organisational business data such as facility locations and storage inventory.

The system is also used to perform calculations

such as calculating the optimal order quantities of straws and the minimized transportation cost.

Lastly, the decision support system (DSS) is used to provide the organization information and analysis

such as global trends that may affect the demand of straws or providing

information on sourcing the best suppliers with the best and cheapest costs on components.

There is now a growing global trend of consumer awareness

regarding plastics and how it harms the environment and endangers the animal species.

In regard to this issue, there are currently a number of interesting new developments

in the future of straw technology such as biodegradables and

straw alternatives, such as bamboo, paper, wood, and steel.

The supply chain management of plastic straw is lean as lean supply chain products

have low market variability, low cost and is delivered in the shortest time

With a change in the demand of alternative straws from this growing global trend,

the supply chain is slowly shifting into an agile supply chain, which responses to volatile demand of high variety products

However, it is not entirely certain that demand of plastic straws will dissipate because there are consumers who desire convenience;

and consumers with disabilities who would prefer using plastic straws

The challenge to supply chain management is developing strategies to

achieve economies of scale through volume-oriented product standardization

Hence, to overcome whichever challenges the plastic straw industry will bring, one must integrate

the suppliers, producers, facilities so that goods are produced

at the right quantities, to the right location, at the right time,

to minimize system costs and overall satisfying consumer needs

This is all from me today. Thank you for your time.

Video Review: SIERO RUGHE e COMPATTEZZA Serum Vegetal YR [ ENG Sub ] | Liz Matutteame - Duration: 5:07.

Hi Girl !

Today I want to talk about this serum of Yves Rocher,

it is the face and wrinkle serum Serum Vegetal line.

It claims to be an ultra plumping compactness serum,

the package is a 30 ml

and the list price is Euro 22.95 removable price,

so with the periodical promotions from the catalog

or in the store you can find with discounts up to 40%.

As you can see I have completely finished it,

and I must say that I found myself really well,

says to contain crystalline grass

which is also called the plant of life,

because it tends to recompose and naturally restructure

the texture of the skin.

This serum spreads very well on the face

and absorbs immediately,

on my mixed skin is perfect in the morning to

apply as a base for makeup,

not greasy and does not shine the T area

during the day.

The 30ml package lasted really long

because just a single push of the applicator

to have the right amount of product

to spread on the whole face.

After about 7-10 days of constant application

I began to notice that my skin was more compact

and with less visible signs of expression,

certainly does not do miracles,

but I noticed the difference both visually

and to the touch,

where it was more firm and elastic.

A product that I really recommend to you,

from 30 years onwards or when you notice

that your skin starts to lack tone and firmness.

For mixed or oily skin I recommend it in the morning

alone under the daily makeup,

or before the moisturizer if you do not wear makeup,

while in the evening it is always good to apply it

before the usual night cream.

For dry skin instead I find that,

having a low average moisturizing power,

it is best to always apply it before the usual face cream,

or the firming cream of the same

line to enhance its effects.

A serum that I recommend absolutely,

and that I get back for sure, maybe for the

autumn winter season,

always at a discounted price.

Let me know if you have tried this product

and how you found it.

As always I hope to have been useful

and if you liked the video put me a like

and subscribe to the channel

to not miss the next beauty reviews.

I also recommend to also click on the bell

so you will be notified with a convenient

free notification every time

I publish a new video.

Kiss Kiss !
