I was born and raised fishing down here and I've been a full-time guide for 26 years.

I have people that come here to fish with me

from all over the world.

We fish over 200 days a year.

I've always consistently put my people on fish.

I've always used electronics, but not to the extent that we do now.

When the water temperatures are cooler, the fish don't like to show,

They don't like to roll as much.

In the everglades a cold front had come through, got in there that morning

And we hadn't seen a fish just like this morning with our eyes and immediately

We started seeing fish on the SOLIX.

Years ago we wouldn't have even stopped on a spot like that.

I would have looked right there for a minute and we would have kept going until we saw

fish but not anymore, it's changed the game completely for that.

Before we had the MEGA it would show you the fish,

now you can actually tell which way they're facing which is a big deal.

Knowing which way they're moving, that's what it's all about.

Getting the screenshots is fun.

That's an extra hobby of mine is to try to get the coolest ones I possibly can.

Obviously the Tarpon is the perfect fish for it.

A lot of the places we fish we've got: snook, cobia, we've got jacks,

and to know if the marks on a machine are actually tarpon is incredible.

A lot of places that I've caught fish for years, what the AutoChart Live

has done for me it actually shows me why.

Shows you the edges, the drops and why the fish always move that way.

By using that AutoChart Live it shows you accurately exactly how the bottom is.

Having the Minn Kota and the Humminbirds networked together

with the i-Pilot Link, using Follow the Contour, using AutoChart Live to map these places

and being able to save multiple Spot-Locks in areas that I fish frequently

and being able to stop and hold it without having to take the time to

drop an anchor it's incredible how much time it saves and

how much more efficiently you can work a piece of water.

I've made a living for over 26 years chasing these tarpon around

this area and there's not many products that you can say help you everyday

and the SOLIX definitely helps you every single day.
